I realized why I spend so much less time on FR than I used to

there's a subset (not always the same people about the same things. This is not about you) of the fandom here on tumblr who just MUST complain about every single update or change the devs make.

Gene error they like changes? End of world (in whatever way they act like it. Could be complaining about speed, or dev crunch, or consistency vs gene variation, or whatever). New ancient gets added before they're personally ready? End of the world. Too many familiars or items? End of the world. Festival item doesn't align with their interpretation of their home Flight? End of the world. Gene expansion doesn't include genes they want? End of the world.

And it just makes wanting to play or engage with the game or fandom not something I wanna do. Everyone is always complaining and miserable about something. I unfollowed someone because they complained Lightning got a hyena gryphon and now Plague won't-- are you people hearing yourselves??? Like you just can't be happy we got the stuff? It's always what we didn't get. Not what we do have.

You don't have to engage with every new Ancient or gene expansion. You can WAIT until gene errors are fixed before geneing dragons. You can just wait on getting on the familiars that come out.

I don't even follow salt blogs. I just follow normal players. But it's just fucking so tiring when I'm trying to enjoy a game and my entire dash is FULL of people bitching and moaning about whatever the newest update is. Like??? Get another hobby. Spend less time on Flight Rising. I've stopped playing it as much because the fandom is so negative. It's less fun because of you.

NCT is my favorite K-pop group and I love them wholeheartedly.

But this situation is disgusting, the fact that they released the statement even before the media got a whiff of it says a lot and they kicked him out. Those charges are most definitely true, SM kicking him out so quickly, NCT members unfolowing him and TY removing all pictures with him says volumes about the severity of this situation.

He was never my bias in the group, but I stan NCT, so it's hard. Still I can clearly see where my support lies, with his victims and other members who might have been hurt by this. Defending him right now is sick.

My heart and support goes to all of his victims.

Any reblogs or posts with him will stay on this blog, since I can't go through each one of them to delete his. I think I'll take a break from NCT, we really don't know these idols and can never guess what's hiding underneath.
