The vast majority of governments are likely to miss a looming deadline to file vital plans that will determine whether or not the world has a chance of avoiding the worst ravages of climate breakdown.
Despite the urgency of the crisis, the UN is relatively relaxed at the prospect of the missed date. Officials are urging countries instead to take time to work harder on their targets to cut greenhouse gas emissions and divest from fossil fuels.
Simon Stiell, the UN’s top climate official, said in a speech in Brazil on Thursday: “Because these national plans are among the most important policy documents governments will produce this century, their quality should be the paramount consideration … Taking a bit more time to ensure these plans are first-rate makes sense, properly outlining how they will contribute to this effort [to tackle the climate crisis] and therefore what rewards they will reap.”
New national plans on emissions cuts are urgently needed because current targets are dangerously inadequate. The world must cut carbon by about half this decade, relative to 1990 levels, to have a chance of limiting temperature rises to 1.5C above preindustrial levels, the important threshold that scientists fear is already out of reach.
Governments are working to blueprints set out four years ago that would result in temperature rises of 2.6C to 2.8C by the end of the century, according to the UN’s environment programme. Poor countries want to see far faster action from the G20 group of the biggest developed and emerging economies, which are responsible for about 80% of global emissions.
Ilana Seid, Palau’s ambassador to the UN and the chair of the Alliance of Small Island States, said: “It is essential that the G20 and other large emitters exhibit their leadership with new [national plans] that show ambitions and tangible progress. We need deep, rapid and sustained reductions commensurate with the 1.5C goal. In this time of unprecedented climate crisis, more than ever we need enhanced international cooperation to truly move the dial forward.”
Under the 2015 Paris climate agreement, every five years countries must submit detailed plans – called nationally determined contributions (NDCs) – with clear targets on cutting emissions, or curbing them in the case of poorer countries. These are then discussed at a “conference of the parties” (Cop).
Last time, the deadline was in effect extended by a year: the Cop26 conference in Glasgow was postponed from November 2020 to 2021 because of the Covid-19 pandemic. This time, the deadline is technically 10 February – nine months before the Cop30 summit in Brazil this November – but with only a handful of countries so far having submitted plans, it looks likely that most will miss it.
Stiell has urged countries to file their submissions before September, when experts will prepare an official “synthesis report” showing whether the aggregated plans are sufficient to meet the 1.5C limit.
One of the last acts of Joe Biden as US president was to submit a new NDC, but that is now largely symbolic. It will stand as a benchmark for those US states, local governments and businesses that maintain their climate commitments in defiance of the federal government.
Given the impetus in the US behind renewable energy, electric vehicles and other low-carbon technologies, its emissions trajectory may not alter much under Trump for some time. But the impact of his return will be felt far beyond the country’s borders: petrostates and economies that have been laggards in cutting emissions may take cover from his shredding of climate commitments.
Paul Bledsoe, a former Clinton White House climate adviser now with American University’s Center for Environmental Policy, warned: “Tragically, Trump’s re-election will not only mean the temporary curtailment of US climate ambition, but it will take some pressure off China, Russia, Saudi Arabia and other major traditional scofflaw emitters, who are likely to offer less ambitious NDCs than had Democrats won last November.”
China holds the key to Cop30: it is the world’s biggest emitter by a wide margin and responsible for almost a third of global carbon output – more than all of the developed countries combined. It has invested heavily in renewable energy, and the past two years have broken records in additional clean power generation capacity, with that pace likely to continue this year.
Yet emissions are still rising, albeit at a much slower rate. To meet the global carbon budget would require China to cause its emissions to peak this year, then fall by about a third by 2035. Such drastic cuts are possible, experts say. Li Shuo, the director of the China climate hub at the Asia Society Policy Institute, said: “We believe China is very well positioned to achieve that goal, based on its very rapid low carbon development.”
Whether China grasps those opportunities will be a political decision. Within Beijing’s top echelons of power, tumultuous arguments rage between those who want to push harder still for the burgeoning green economy, and the advocates of coal. Calculations of the impact of Trump, and his tariffs, will fuel those disagreements further.
“The US backsliding is definitely not good news for China’s climate ambition and global climate action,” Shuo said. “But China is at the very forefront of the low-carbon economy, which is already yielding a lot of benefits. And China wants to project stability and predictability, on the international stage.”
China was at a similar crossroads nearly a decade ago: in early 2016, analysts estimated that China’s emissions may have already peaked. Instead, the country made a sharp reversal by returning to coal-fired power. That process began before the election of Trump in November 2016 but was confirmed by his anti-China stance. Could Trump’s second ascendancy trigger a similar retrenchment? “I would not rule out a return to coal,” Shuo said.
India, the world’s fifth largest economy and third biggest emitter of greenhouse gases, will also be closely watched. After the gavel came down at Cop29 in November, India’s negotiator criticised the $1.3tn climate finance deal agreed there as a “travesty of justice” and “betrayal” of developing countries.
Solar and wind power are thriving in India, which is the world’s third biggest producer of renewable energy. But the powerful coal lobby enjoys favour with the authoritarian prime minister, Narendra Modi, who argues that developed countries must take responsibility for cutting emissions while the developing world should expand its carbon footprint.
Climate diplomats told the Guardian it was likely India would frame its targets in terms of emissions intensity rather than absolute cuts to carbon – that is, reducing the amount of carbon per unit of GDP.
For most of the past two decades, the EU has led the world on climate ambition. This year, however, with a populist backlash across the continent threatening the environmental consensus, the two biggest champions – France and Germany – are in the throes of political crisis, and several other governments have taken a rightwing and anti-climate turn. The bloc is not expected to reach agreement on its NDC until this summer.
Japan’s prospective NDC has been criticised by campaigners as too weak but it has not yet been submitted. Canada is facing elections after the resignation of Justin Trudeau, and Australia is also gearing up for political fights over climate in the long run-up to its election.
There is little hope of strong NDCs from two of the biggest climate influencers among the G20: Russia and Saudi Arabia. Neither country is likely to commit to significant cuts, although both are nominally signed up to a net zero target.
Even if China, India, the EU and some other G20 states come forward with relatively strong NDCs, the chances that they will add up globally to the drastic emissions cuts needed to keep the 1.5C target safe are small. Rachel Kyte, the UK’s climate envoy, said: “When you add up all the NDCs, my expectation is they may not get us back on track.”
But this need not be the disaster it might appear, she added, as the NDCs could be negotiated and updated. For instance, some NDCs were likely to contain a range of possible targets, some of which might be conditional on countries receiving finance or other support. “These are not static [documents], and the targets are floors, not ceilings,” she said.
Quite how dynamic countries are prepared to be is up for debate. At Cop26, countries – in theory – agreed that NDCs should be updated more often than every five years. But since then, few have increased the level of ambition in their plans.
Even if ambition is lacking on the core carbon targets in NDCs, properly focused plans could offer the world a breathing space by going beyond carbon to other greenhouse gases – chiefly methane. Global emissions of methane, which comes from agriculture and escapes from fossil fuel extraction sites, have been rising strongly in recent years, to the increasing concern of scientists, as methane is roughly 80 times more powerful at trapping heat in the atmosphere than carbon dioxide.
Cutting methane yields big rewards: halving methane would avoid a 0.25C rise in temperatures by 2030, one study found. Durwood Zaelke, the president of the Institute for Governance and Sustainable Development, said: “Methane is the emergency brake that can slow down warming enough to keep us from going over the cliff of irreversible tipping points. All countries need to target methane in their NDCs.”
Some countries already had policies on methane, which should be strengthened, and those without must put them in place, he said. “Our window to act is the next five years, 10 tops. If we don’t cut methane now, we’ll see the rate of warming continue to accelerate, and we’ll soon be past the first series of irreversible tipping points.”

The youth brain drain is one of the biggest problems in Western Balkan countries, with some predicting that up to half of the skilled and educated young population may leave these countries in the next decades.
A research report published on Monday, Migration and Brain Drain – Comparative Analysis of Albania, North Macedonia, and Serbia, shows that young people leave these countries not only because of low salaries and economic issues but also because of corruption, crime, political instability and lack of security.
The report was published as a part of the Regional Youth Leadership Mobility Programme, which is a collaboration between the Centre for Science and Innovation for Development, the Youth Educational Forum from North Macedonia, and the Youth Initiative for Human Rights from Serbia.
The paper focuses on how to attract young migrants back to their home countries.
Respondents in Serbia and North Macedonia voiced pessimism about the possibility of returning, but family ties remained a strong motive for doing so. Youngsters in Albania expressed similar reasons for staying in Albania, such as strong family ties and the desire to contribute to the country’s development.
Natalija Zunic, a graduate student at the Belgrade Faculty of Political Sciences and co-author of the report, told BIRN that one of the main recommendations they highlighted is better advertising and recognition of support programmes offered by government and non-governmental organisations that address migrants who want to return home.
“The biggest thing we noticed is the very low representation of programmes to support migrants who return. They exist, but 80 of our respondents were not aware that they exist,” she said.
Many of these schemes offer the same support that potential returnees seek, such as support for establishing of new businesses with the capital they earned in foreign countries.
But one problem noted in Serbia is that the state no longer recognises the young people who left as an integral part of the state. “When they come back, they no longer have a sense of their home state because it doesn’t treat them like that,” Zunic said.
It is mainly young and skilled individuals that are leaving Serbia. The average age of emigrants is 28.7 years, compared to the national average age of 42.2 years.
A survey conducted by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy revealed that 64.5 per cent of Serbian youth would emigrate if given the chance. Their main reasons include securing a better future (22.7 per cent), higher salaries (20.1 per cent), and a higher living standard (19.6 per cent).
One is five emigrants also leaves with their entire family, indicating permanent departure.
North Macedonia, with its small population, is also facing significant emigration. The 2021 census highlighted a loss of 200,000 inhabitants compared to the 2002 census, as the population decreased from around 2 million to 1.8 million. This decline is primarily attributed to migration rather than a low birth rate.
Data in Albania shows that there is also a mismatch between educational programmes and labour market demands, which contributes to the brain-drain. This problem is exacerbated by the fact that few young people don’t have the opportunity to join quality internships.
Results of a survey conducted in Serbia show that students who gained internship experience are often not satisfied with its quality, citing another report with the same project, The Role of Career Counselling and Internship Programmes in Facilitating Students’ Transition from University to Workspace.
Participants without internship experience criticized career counselling offices for inconsistent availability and perceived rude attitudes, particularly in public universities.
Isidora Petkovic, a student of the Belgrade Faculty of Political Sciences and co-author of the report, told BIRN that when young people go to an internship, they “do everything except their job”, explaining that this includes some side office duties.
The solution for that is better mentoring and leadership, “someone who would guide them from the very beginning to the end of the internship”, she said, adding that it’s also hard to get an internship, for which you usually need “good connections”.

Biography of Oleg Belaj: Interesting Facts about the CEO of TRINFICO Investment Group
Tumblr media
Oleg Belaj
Creating a company is not as difficult as it may seem. The tasks of choosing a promising market, planning, and dealing with legal formalities are usually not as challenging as keeping your business running for many years afterwards. Entrepreneur Oleg Belaj is no stranger to these issues.
Today, he holds the position of CEO at TRINFICO, one of the most influential investment groups in Russia, which has maintained its independence from state and bank capital for many years. But in his student years, Oleg Viktorovich Belaj tried his hand at many other business projects, developing various companies and considering different options and alternatives.
The entrepreneur managed to quickly gain management experience by working in executive positions. He was only 21 years old when he co-founded TRINFICO. More than 30 years have passed since then, but even today, Oleg Belaj continues to work for the future of his company. Under his leadership, the investment group managed to overcome many crises, build a reputation as one of the leaders in the segment, and get to the top of many industry ratings.
Neither the businessman's parents nor his relatives had anything to do with entrepreneurship, so the very fact that he is a self-made man makes Oleg Belaj's biography all the more interesting.
The idea of starting his own business first occurred to the future CEO of TRINFICO when he was still a university student — back when Russia was transitioning to a new economic system. The emerging free market showed great promise but was extremely dangerous, as hundreds of companies barely had time to operate before they closed down. Only a few businesses managed to survive a series of major financial crises and stay afloat.
Biography of the Entrepreneur
Oleg Belaj developed many important entrepreneurial qualities at an early age. He has always been a responsible person and a good strategic thinker. However, during his school years he was more interested in physics than economics. As a teenager, he decided to get an engineering degree, and only as a university student, did he become seriously interested in entrepreneurship.
Childhood and Teenage Years
Oleg Belaj was born in Moscow and grew up in a family of programmers who never had any interest in entrepreneurship. He graduated from an ordinary school with no advanced classes. Nevertheless, the future businessman managed to get an excellent education. His friends and family believe that it was made possible by his own intellectual curiosity, desire for self-improvement, and responsible attitude towards learning.
Oleg was also a very sociable kid with a strong sense of initiative. He was drawn to the exact sciences but at the same time interested in history, literature, and other humanities. Even as a young man, he was never fixated on a particular hobby and constantly sought to learn something new. It was likely this trait of his personality that eventually helped him discover his passion for business.
Engineering Degree
After graduating from school, Oleg Belaj decided to study engineering. He considered several universities, but ultimately settled on MIET (Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology). Interestingly, his parents were also graduates of this university. Oleg's decision, however, was not related to this fact but was rather determined by his desire to develop applied research skills.
For several years, the future CEO of TRINFICO was set on devoting his future career to physics. At the same time, however, he was aware of the situation in the country and regularly exchanged opinions with his peers and like-minded people. After the collapse of the USSR, Russia began to switch to a new economic model. The country welcomed the free market and the first private companies.
Many young people were able to recognize the opportunities brought about by these changes and turned their attention to business. It was during that period that Oleg became enthralled with the idea of creating his own company. However, he decided against dropping out of university and graduated with a degree in engineering physics.
Interest in Business and Investment
Oleg Belaj's TRINFICO is the largest company in his career. Several years before its founding, however, he also tried his hand at other projects. Some of them were started by his acquaintances. Oleg was a talented executive and planned to use his experience as a manager to start his own business.
He never kept it secret that he wanted to create something of his own. Soon, together with a partner, he opened a news agency. The latter showed a lot of promise, but its owners quickly lost their passion for journalism. The partners switched their focus to investing activities, which seemed to them like the most promising business idea at the time.
Back then, the stock market in post-Soviet Russia was only beginning to take shape. Financial securities first appeared in circulation, and more and more brokerage companies began to enter the market. Despite the novelty of this segment, it was extremely competitive almost from the very beginning. Moreover, local brokers often had to compete with more experienced foreign players entering the Russian market.
Role in the History of TRINFICO
Oleg Belaj never talks big of his role as a co-founder and one of the leaders of TRINFICO Investment Group. However, his contribution cannot be overestimated; from the very beginning, the entrepreneur has been involved in every major aspect of the firm's operations and developed effective asset protection and asset structuring strategies. Later, after the asset consolidation, he took over as CEO of the investment group.
Starting an Investment Company
In 1993, a group of partners created the TRINFICO company, which was essentially just another Moscow-based broker. At the time, it was hard to imagine that a focus on stable growth and a well-chosen management strategy would help it become one of the most influential investment groups in Russia.
The overall situation in the market was not favorable for businesses to thrive:
The stock market was still in its formative stage; new types of financial instruments were constantly appearing on the market, and specialized companies needed to quickly adopt them to provide up-to-date services to their clients.
The legislative framework was rapidly changing; brokers had to adapt to the new "rules of the game," monitoring legal changes and complying with the newly introduced regulations.
The competition was constantly growing; Russian companies had to compete not only with each other, but also against reputable foreign firms that had more resources and experience.
The industry regulation could hardly be considered exhaustive: not even half of the modern SROs and government agencies were established back then.
The population had little confidence in the investment sector, mainly because of its novelty, but also due to the numerous cases of fraud that cast a shadow over the entire market.
Oleg Belaj understood that the opportunities in this industry were intertwined with the colossal risks that awaited all investment companies. Keeping these issues in mind, TRINFICO's executives chose to put safety and stability first. They never tried to accelerate the company's growth and saw no point in taking unjustified risks for the sake of short-term leadership.
Evolution and Crisis Management
Oleg Viktorovich Belaj always listed asset protection, broad risk diversification, and sustainable development among TRINFICO's absolute priorities. It was likely this business strategy that allowed his company to easily overcome a number of crises that accompanied the formation of the free market in Russia.
However, the sovereign default that occurred in 1998 could not but impact even the most stable and reliable company. Back then, many brokers had to shut down their operations. As for TRINFICO, it had to strategically scale down the business. Later, however, it managed to quickly regain its footing.
Oleg Belaj notes that the management team of the company never even considered the possibility of suspending its activities. The year 1998 taught all market players an important lesson. TRINFICO further improved its asset protection measures, which had been a priority even before the crisis. Further on, it continued to grow and develop new services.
Soon, its owners established an asset management company. TRINFICO transformed from a small Moscow-based brokerage firm into a large-scale investment group. It signed its first agreement with a non-governmental pension fund and achieved excellent results in managing its assets. Before long, the company also began to work with the state-owned Pension Fund of the Russian Federation.
TRINFICO's Latest Results
In 2013, the group completed the consolidation of assets. After that, Oleg Belaj assumed the responsibilities of CEO at TRINFICO. However, the true extent of his activities, as before, went far beyond the standard job description. Among other things, he introduced ESG practices into the company's business strategy.
By now, TRINFICO has achieved impressive results:
in 2024, the National Rating Agency upgraded JSC TRINFICO's rating of reliability and quality of services to 'A+|ru.iv|';
in the same year, the NRA affirmed the rating of reliability and quality of services of the TRINFICO Asset Management Company at 'A' ( Outlook Stable);
TRINFICO AMC became the first Russian asset management company to receive an ESG rating, managing to improve it only a year later.
Experts note that TRINFICO's client base is growing, and the company continues to improve its liquidity risk indicators. It remains committed to the "green" agenda, and its management team continues to focus on sustainable development and corporate social responsibility practices.
Private Life
The entrepreneur is married and has two children. He and his wife happily participate in the lives of their grandchildren. Oleg's hobbies include trekking, traveling, and motorcycling. However, the leader of TRINFICO does not always have time for his hobbies; the entrepreneur tries to spend more time with his family and still devotes most of his energy to the investment group.
Philanthropy
Philanthropy has been at the forefront of the businessman's life for many years. He believes that charitable activities should be goal-oriented and productive. With this idea in mind, Oleg Belaj instigated the creation of a charitable foundation called VMESTE SMOZHEM (TOGETHER WE CAN). It offers competitive grants to NPOs that share its objectives. The foundation works hard to reduce poverty and support vulnerable social groups.
Its funding is growing with each passing year. This allows it to finance an increasing number of charities from all over the country. TRINFICO employees also participate in various charity events. Many of them are committed volunteers. This fact, among other things, plays an important role in the company's social responsibility strategy.

What Is a PGDM Management Course and Why Should You Pursue It?
In today’s fast-evolving business world, possessing the right qualifications is essential to stay ahead of the competition. Among the most sought-after programmes for aspiring professionals is the PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management). Often mistaken as just another MBA equivalent, a PGDM course is far more dynamic and industry-focused, preparing students not only for corporate challenges but also for entrepreneurial pursuits.
Tumblr media
Understanding the PGDM Management Course
A PGDM is a two-year postgraduate diploma programme offered by autonomous institutes recognised by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). Unlike traditional university-affiliated MBA programmes, PGDM courses are more adaptable to changing industry trends because institutes offering PGDM have the flexibility to update their curriculum regularly.
PGDM management courses focus on both theoretical foundations and practical applications of business and management principles. They are designed to build key competencies in areas like marketing, finance, human resources, business analytics, and operations management.
Key Features of a PGDM Management Course
Industry-Oriented Curriculum: PGDM programmes are updated frequently to keep pace with industry developments, offering students real-world business insights.
Specialisations: Students can choose from a variety of specialisations based on their interests and career goals, such as Finance, Marketing, HR, Operations, International Business, and more.
Skill Development: Focus is placed on both hard and soft skills—communication, leadership, critical thinking, and decision-making.
Internships and Live Projects: Practical exposure through internships, case studies, and live industry projects helps students build a strong professional foundation.
Placement Opportunities: Most reputed PGDM institutes have robust placement cells and industry linkages that help students secure jobs in top companies.
Why Should You Pursue a PGDM Management Course?
High Employability PGDM graduates are in high demand due to their job-ready skills and practical business understanding.
Personal and Professional Growth The programme fosters not just academic knowledge but also leadership qualities, networking skills, and confidence.
Entrepreneurial Readiness The innovative and case-based learning approach equips students with problem-solving skills that are critical for launching and managing startups.
Global Outlook Many PGDM courses include modules on international business, global finance, and cross-cultural communication, enabling students to work on a global stage.
Versatile Career Options From management consulting to digital marketing, supply chain to analytics—PGDM opens doors to multiple career paths.
PGDM vs MBA: What’s the Difference?
Though both are postgraduate courses in management, the key difference lies in their approach:
MBA is offered by universities and follows a more traditional curriculum.
PGDM is offered by autonomous institutes and tends to be more practical and aligned with current business needs.
Final Thoughts
A PGDM Management Course is an excellent choice for those aiming to climb the corporate ladder or launch their own venture. Its flexibility, industry relevance, and focus on practical learning make it a valuable investment in your future.
Ready to Take the Next Step?
If you're looking for a trusted institution to begin your PGDM journey, consider IILM Academy of Higher Learning, Lucknow. With experienced faculty, modern infrastructure, and a commitment to shaping future leaders, IILM LKO stands out as a top choice for aspiring management professionals.

Tamil Nadu Will Never Be Ruled from Delhi”: CM Stalin Strikes a Defiant Tone in Salem
Tumblr media
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, speaking at a major government event in Salem on Thursday, issued a sharp rebuke to the BJP-led Union government, asserting that the state will never accept external dominance. “Tamils have self-respect, and we will never allow Tamil Nadu to be ruled from Delhi,” he declared, drawing thunderous applause from the crowd.
The chief minister was in Salem to inaugurate welfare schemes and development projects worth over ₹1,649 crore. As part of the programme, Stalin released water from the Mettur Dam for irrigation in the delta districts — a crucial move for Tamil Nadu’s agrarian economy. Water discharge began at 3,000 cubic feet and was later increased to 7,000 cubic feet per second, marking the 92nd year of Mettur water release. This will help irrigate approximately 17.10 lakh acres of land for cultivating Kuruvai and Samba crops.
Support for Farmers: Hike in Paddy Procurement Price
In a significant boost to the farming community, Stalin announced a revised procurement price for paddy. The new rates are ₹2,500 per quintal for the normal variety and ₹2,545 for the short variety. “This is part of our Dravidian model of governance, which prioritizes people’s welfare over political rhetoric,” Stalin said.
A Sharp Critique of BJP Governance
In a pointed response to Union Home Minister Amit Shah’s recent remarks in Madurai, Stalin defended the performance of the DMK government. “They claim we only make announcements. The truth is, the Centre allocates insufficient funds for major schemes, and we, the state government, are contributing more than 50% of the funds—even for schemes that carry the Prime Minister’s name.”
Drawing a humorous analogy from the Rajinikanth film Padayappa, Stalin said, “There’s a dialogue in the movie — he may be the groom, but he’s wearing my shirt. That’s exactly the situation here. The Centre may take credit, but we are footing the bill.”
AIIMS Madurai and Keezhadi: Symbolic of Neglect
Targeting the Centre's delay in delivering promises, Stalin asked, “Has Amit Shah even seen the condition of AIIMS Madurai? It was announced 10 years ago. With proper funding, it could have been completed in just two years. In contrast, our government has completed numerous projects in the region within four years.”
He also criticized Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat’s remarks on the Keezhadi excavation report, which highlights the ancient heritage of Tamil civilization. “The Union government continues to downplay Tamil antiquity. They ignored our scientifically backed findings. But we will never allow Tamil identity to be erased.”
Political Fireworks: A Message to the Opposition
Stalin didn’t spare AIADMK either. In a veiled dig at opposition leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami, he said, “Forming an alliance just to protect one’s position is not leadership. Did you raise your voice when the rights of Tamil Nadu were snatched away?”
Dravidian Model in Action
Stalin’s Salem visit concluded with the inauguration of 507 new development works and the formal opening of 225 completed projects, totaling ₹1,649.18 crore. He also visited Periyar University and paid floral tributes to social reformer Periyar, reinforcing the DMK’s ideological roots.

TLM Exhibition - Edu Verse 2025
Ghulam Ahmed College of Education, Banjara hills, Hyderabad
Every year, as part of the Pre-Internship Programme, a Learning Resources Development Exhibition is organized, where first-year B.Ed. students participate according to their respective methodologies. These include Social Science, Biological Science, Mathematics, Physical Science, English, Urdu, and Telugu. The exhibition provides a platform for student-teachers to creatively design and present Teaching-Learning Materials (TLMs), which play a crucial role in enhancing the effectiveness and engagement of the teaching-learning process.
This year, the exhibition was held on the theme "Eduverse: Building a Universe of Learning", inspiring participants to explore diverse and innovative approaches in education through imaginative and impactful TLMs. The event was successfully conducted under the dynamic leadership of Prof. Vibha Asthana, whose guidance and vision ensured the smooth coordination of all activities.
The remarkable efforts of the method teachers greatly contributed to the high standards of the exhibition. To ensure quality and finesse, Subject Heads (HODs) from Sultan-ul-Uloom Public School were invited to evaluate and judge the students’ work, offering valuable feedback and encouragement.
This program was conducted in collaboration with the United Nations, aligning with the vision of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in promoting quality education, innovation, and global citizenship. As a token of encouragement and recognition, winner certificates were awarded by the United Nations to celebrate the creativity, innovation, and dedication of the student-teachers in designing meaningful TLMs.
