@doberbutts teach me your secrets!!! Our 11 week old corgi loves everything that isn't me but he's super trainable! He sometimes wants training to last longer than I have ideas for and I'm like *panic* you wanna learn to open a jar??

For dogs that are motivated by things that don’t really include their owners, I don’t start this with leash walking. I start it in the house! Something I did with Tiki, my late chihuahua, was that I would sit in my living room with her gated in but otherwise offleash and unrestrained. Any time she would naturally, unbidden approach me for anything, I would reward her with something she liked, but not necessarily food. She really liked to pounce and bite my hands, so frequently any time she approached me, we’d play a bitey game. If you aren’t a big fan of puppies that bite, however, I recommend not doing that with your corgi!

In any case, once we get to the point where any time I enter the room, shift position, stand up, whatever the dog jumps to come harass me to engage with them, then we start adding distracting things. Will they still do this while the other dogs are milling around the room? How about when the TV’s going? Will they do this when we’re sitting on our porch step? On a walk?

It’s all about showing your dog what you want. If you can show your dog that the way to get the things they like from you is to ask you for it, you’ll have a much easier time communicating the opposite way around too.

Do you think we'll see these Shadim demons again (maybe even as some kind of Leviathan 2.0 big bad), or were they just a Buckleming One Episode Wonder? *personally I'm hoping for the latter*

Creepy lizard arms from Hell? Considering they seem to be Asmodeus’s “pet project,” we very well could. He did seem to have a particular obsession with freeing them. And a sort of parallel to Jack’s nebulous and unrestrained potential power, he described the Shadim as ALSO being potentially “trainable,” both when he was giving his Evol Villain Speech to the demons he didn’t kill AND when he’d borrowed Donatello’s visage to discuss Jack’s power with Sam. That had been the comment that he’d been fishing for; that Jack was potentially “moldable.” He feels he can “train” the Shadim to do his bidding, and “training” Jack to release them seemed like a trial run for him. Ramiel did once mention Asmodeus’s “hobbies.” I think the Shadim were likely what he was referring to there... dude seems kind of obsessed...

I feel the need to put a couple of asides here...

Thinking about Asmodeus’s first scene with the demons... the way he killed them looked so much like an angel smiting, from the way the demons “sparked out” to the fact they were left with burnt out eyes. We speculated for years on why Azazel had been so much more powerful than other demons, and then had a lot of those questions (and more raised) when we met Ramiel. Regular demon traps do nothing, the demon killing knife (and even angel blades) don’t do more than irritate them. Even a ring of holy oil failed to contain Ramiel when he decided he was done being contained (and that may have had something to do with the power of the Lance of Michael but it also may have just been Ramiel’s power). There’s something very darkly angelic about the Princes, and as of right now, Sam and Dean have NO weapon that can defeat one. The Lance was broken to save Cas, and Dagon melted the Colt. Potentially Lucifer could kill one, and if Jack’s potentially going to be more powerful than Lucifer, it’s possible that HE may be powerful enough to defeat Asmodeus, but he’s so completely unaware of his own powers yet... Honestly, Sam mentioning that fact to Dean-- that Jack may be their only weapon against Asmodeus-- may be what convinces Dean they need to keep Jack around for now...

And on THAT thought, this is so familiar a scenario to Dean because it’s essentially the reason he took on the Mark of Cain in the first place-- as the only potential way to defeat Abaddon. Regardless, Dean knows all the consequences of that one impulsive decision now. It took him 2 1/2 years to get to the end of that particular line with the Darkness. I think he’s gonna be a lot warier of making another “deal with the devil” regarding Jack’s powers...

Sorry, the answer’s basically just the first paragraph, but typing it up gave me these other thoughts. For some reason, I just can’t help see the parallels to both Sam’s demon blood arc and the entire MoC arc, as well as the Leviathan arc. :)

I saw multiple messed up dreams but the school gym battle royale was such an odd dream it stuck to me particularly well. 

I don’t know how I ended into the gym but basically it was enormous and it was divided to two groups of people: those whose movements were restrained and those who could walk and practice freely. They were all people ranging from like 12 to around 17 maybe and they all had been locked into the gym by some man? And their task was to fight each other until there would be only a small group left. I don’t know what was the purpose of that, either sick enjoyment or he was looking for trainable young soldiers for himself. 

The system was fucked up too. Every day there would be three death fights: one fight whose fighters would have 24 hours to prepare for the next day’s battle, and then two battles after the first one where the participants would be announced randomly. The first battle was always between restrained vs unrestrained groups but the last two could involve people fighting their own team members. So you could be called out to fight at any moment and you would have to be ready to fight to death. Weapon were really blunt and simple to make sure the battles would be long and painful and the deaths slow. 

 I kind of just dropped into the dream and found myself from the restricted side with giant cages but I was so small I could kind of slip out from there. I’m pretty sure I was actually my OC Rick in that dream because I was really OOC and smaller and younger than I am. And also my OC Leon was there and he and Rick come in a set. Leon was so cool there, he was basically the leader of everyone and even if he had his flaws he was really reliable and charismatic when needed (ooh Leon I’m swooning). Also further proof I was most likely Rick is the fact he didn’t want me to fight: he said if I’m being called out to fight he will take my place. 

I saw Leon battling once and he was pretty cool even if it did involve killing someone but that’s kinda the purpose. He didn’t like it but he wanted to get out from here and save the rest so he did as told all the while planning with some others how to escape (I think my oc Jet might have been there too since he and Leon are like BFF).

The conclusion of the dream was that some others had been able to sneak out of the gym building and look around, and although the doors were closed, there was this one room with cracks on the floor: a small person could actually sneak out. 

So when it was another battle time Leon decided it’s time to work and he and others started causing some sort of havoc or something to buy time, while me and apparently my OC Thomas?? escaped from the gym bc we were the smallest of the group and went to the basement and escaped through the cracks. 

The place outside had only a few guards, and apparently someone had followed me and Thomas and worked as a bait so they could distract the guards from us. 

And yeah we ended up escaping and we parted ways to alert more people and then I ran into a nearest house and told what’s going on and that we Gotta Call The Police 

And in the end everyone was freed and saved god bless
