for those who have been wondering, Mizmix is an immortal doctor who specializes in social sciences (which most of the local villains despise not considering them real science) for which they pile their degrees to flex their knowledge

my V.A.I.N. part for @scientifichubris , featuring Lazarus Crimson, Synthesis, and Alastor! Lazarus is the character in front, Synthesis is the white cat, and Alastor is the black cat. also Creechur is there. shhhh he's trying to sleep. alternate versions under cut and also me rambling:

i wanna talk about the background! cuz i put a lot into it. i wanted to put something of all three of them in the background, but i ended up making most of it Syn's, mostly because the lair was their's first and Lazarus doesn't technically live there. the blob thing is Syn's pet goo cat named Yogurt and the other thing is a plushy Mazgomoth possesses a lot to talk to Syn without actually having to go there physically, though its not possessed at the moment. the vulture is the only adult in the room and also Alastor's adopted father. the spider is just a mechanical spider i wanted to throw in for Lazarus. also theres a picture on the wall of all of them.

This is your formal invitation to The V.A.I.N. (The Villainous Annual Internet Nightmare)!

The V.A.I.N., like the name implies, is a digital conference for villains of all kinds, from mad scientists to aspiring dark lords! The conference itself with take place on Z.O.O.M (We all know what that means, no point in telling you), with an aspect ratio of 16:9, 1600x900, or 800x450. Your finest background is encouraged, lest there be any more snooping on your whereabouts. However, if you wish to give away your location even more don’t say I didn’t warn you. 

We do not guarantee your plans, research or other nefarious schemes will not be copied, modified or straight up stolen in any way. There is no honor among thieves. Join at your own risk. And one more thing:

No Heroes Allowed!

Alright now that that is out of the way... Hello and welcome! Just for the sake of being clear here’s what’s going down! If you choose to join us at The V.A.I.N., you will create a piece of art with your villain OC(s) participating in a zoom conference with the aspect radio listed! Either showing off some invention, listening along, bored out of their mind... Really anything you think would be appropriate for the topic. This is LGBT+ and non-binary inclusive project with minors present. So again, please be appropriate! :D

You can post it on your blog, @scientifichubris  and/or DM me the piece by April 30th midnight EST! After midnight (If I’m asleep then the morning after) I will @ everyone whos piece(s) I have as a precaution. If you need an extension let me know at least a day ahead of time and that’s totally okay!! I will do my best to compile it into something that somewhat looks like a zoom meeting. I truly hope we all have fun doing this!

My entry for @scientifichubris V.A.I.N zoom call! As you can see, my villainsona has been hard at work trying to blur the lines between plants, technology, and humans. Lets just say being my own test subject has resulted in my hair growing vines and my skin growing green! A bioluminescence experiment mishap has left me with a permanent green glowing aura. But I don’t mind. It was all done in the name of science! @scientifichubris

my submission for the V.A.I.N.!! i just doodled myself as a funny goopy lil dude :]. i used the ratio 1600x900 and i used mspaint along with a mouse for this, it was super fun so thank you @scientifichubris​ !!!!

its tough work being a villainless minion, yknow! especially when youre slime and any evil plans just stick to you :/ im hoping to find a minionless villain! i work best in scientific areas and- and uh.. hold on a second let me just... ugh..

dr. kirin frost (certified mad rocket scientist phd) has arrived at @scientifichubris's V.A.I.N. conference! he'd much rather be testing his new machines in his creepy basement, but his brother insisted it'd be useful to keep tabs on what all the other morally dubious envelope-pushers are doing.

(also, fun fact, the language on his papers n stuff is stasti, his native language. the placard reads "h. keirin okainura", his stasti name and title, and the book is called "deinas niatanasta lonistolostai", which translates roughly to "on the history of disasters". yeah 50% of the reason i made this piece was because i think it's really fun to write in my made-up language.)

My entry for @scientifichubris​​‘s V.A.I.N. Event/”Zoom Call”! I’m very happy to take part in this as well as challenge myself with a big piece that’s so full and without outlines like this one. I have learned to draw so much and have fallen in love with my own character again, thank you for the opportunity.

So the lighting, funny enough was the last thing on my mind until I finished the holo-screens! So it took me no more than 5 minutes to toss some stuff together for the effect.

Hallow doesn’t have much to share, they just wanted to see the cool science experiments and evil plans everyone else was gonna show! They *do* know some neat magic tricks if anyone wants to see, though! Or perhaps they could offer a recipe for one of their potions?
