“Hey lord Vados we’re back from our vacations!” Caulfila shouted wearing some heavy training gear. Having been killed by the Angel for a bit so she could train SSJ3 in other world.

“And we’ve never felt better.” Kale said rubbing her forehead after some recent fighting. They were so strong maybe even candidates for destroyers.

Vados was going to ruin them.

"Hhmph..." Vados smirked pearing from behind a pair of sunglasses at the two saiyans. The was having a rather uneventful day lounging in a sun chair on champa's planet and was quite enjoying the peace and quiet but this new look for the two saiyans was more than enough to peak her interest. Was it time for them to come back already? Truthfully time was of little meaning for her given her age, perhaps she should have been checking the calendar.

"Ah I see, well you've both seem to have made some improvements in your time away. And hear I though that hole blown in your chest was going to be for nothing." The angel laughed as she summoned her staff and tapped the tip onto the ground changing from casual wear to her angelic garb in an instant.

I realized this flashback section wasn't needed, but since it was already written (though unedited) I figured it wouldn't hurt to put it here for anyone interested.

“We have to leave,” Lydia said as Tikala and Hilda worked to create a barrier around the village. The locals had rose for battle at an impressive speed, some wielding weapons and others standing beside their Nexomon. While some might say the Renegades should stay and help the village after the more-than-generous hospitality they’d been shown, she was confident those of the forest could handle themselves.

The rest of Parum, however? Her home on the Drake Isles? That she was a little less confident about. While Parum City and Lateria had their walls for defense (as did the Frozen Tundra, somewhat), none were set up for an onslaught like this.

(There also just wasn’t enough room with the dense trees and denser canopy for all five Tyrants to fight. Especially Petram, who had spent the day trying to disturb the forest floor as little as possible while they were out and Mulcimer, who had remained in his trap since Jin arrived in the very flammable area.)

“Agreed.” Jin had, reluctantly, taken an offered walking stick to use as a makeshift cane while in the village. “The warp stone here is active, correct?”

Celine shifted her weight between her feet. “It is, but are we backing up the kiddo? I’d assume she’s still in Parum City, but-“

“She is not.” Hilda glided over, still glowing slightly from whatever witch powers she was using. “The Queen and her friends have left to confront Ziegler and Xanders, and they are not in place you can reach via the warp stones. However, the Drake Isles, Palmaya, New Ignitia, and Cadium are all under assaults led by Ziegler’s Wardens, while Parum City, Lateria, and the Frozen Tundra are being swarmed.”

“We’ll split up, then,” Jin decided. “Parum City has the most tamers, as well as Vados. I propose we each take one of the remaining cities, based on where we’d have the strongest advantages.” He glanced around the general area of their group, though he missed Logan, who was off to the side. “That would be New Ignitia for myself and Mulcimer. The Drake Isles for Lydia and Eurus. Cadium for Logan and Bolzen. Celine and Petram could help Palmaya or Lateria-”

“I’ll take Lateria,” the dark-haired woman said. “It’s easier for Petram and my other Nexomon to fight in the desert. If they don’t need me, then I’ll head to Palmaya, but I’m sure Merida’s already there. We’d just get in her way.”

“In all likelihood, there will be nothing much Bolzen or I can do,” Lydia heard Logan mutter to himself. The electric-type Tyrant (and the only one currently out of its trap) buzzed. “Yes, yes. I know there’s no point trying to get out of it. I was just stating a fact.”

“What about the Frozen Tundra?” Lydia asked Jin. “If Merida’s in Palmaya, that means there’s no Tyrants there. Their defenses aren’t that good. I think Edward was heading there earlier, and I can try and order one of my drakes, but…” She tapped on her visor, switching the display. “It looks like they’re already spread out and fighting.” Minus Mystogen, Glamond, and Boscage, who were in the mountains behind the Guild…. Where Xanders was set up.

Ah. That’s where Regina and the other kids were.

A loud ‘Ha?!’ came from behind the purplette, and she turned to find Atlanta standing there, still wearing Logan’s coat. “What’da ya mean ‘what ‘bout the Tundra?’ Obviously me n’ Nivalis will take it.”

“Atlanta,” Celine tried to caution. “You’re still injured. No one will blame you for sitting this one out.” (Noticing that Logan looked like he was about to comment, and knowing that comment would almost certainly not be helpful, Lydia subtly walked over and jabbed the man in the arm with her elbow.)

The youngest Renegade snorted. “Yeah, Nivalis already tried that n’ you’re not convincing me either. I want my payback, indirectly or not.”

the thing with Tora is that in the beginning she’s intentionally written as someone who hasn’t been able to use her powers because her dad’s a dick and is just learning what the hell she can do with them

but I don’t think other writers have really built on that well (except Vado) because her powers usually stay in the lane of ice shields and ice blasts

but cmonnnnn even over JLI we see her making larger constructs and doing fine detailed work like her ice sculptures in JLQ 5. Plus she’s a GODDESS. there’s absolutely a ton of power there she couldn’t tap into at first, but its been 40 years of her fighting with ice powers. Girl’s figured it out. I hope we get to see her do some genuinely cool stuff in Welcome To Smallville.

THE MIDAS TOUCH

USING GOLD AND BRASS IN YOUR BEAUTIFUL BATHROOM

As we weave our way through 2019, adding the Midas touch to bathrooms continues to remain a popular choice. Ask any bathroom designer and they will tell you the biggest bug-bear when using a special finish; that is, anything other than standard chrome –  is the difficulty in sourcing products that allow a particular finish to be carried through from taps, showers to radiators – and even when that is possible, it’s tricky to match the smaller bathroom components that also require the finish. Such as flush buttons, basin & bath wastes, bottle traps, accessories etc. There are many components to a bathroom that, as a designer, we must bear in mind when suggesting the use of gold, brass or any other special finish.

Thankfully, due to the rise in popularity of the gold and brass trend, these products are now available. Allowing luxury bathroom suppliers to create amazing and beautiful designs for our clients. BRASSWARE

As showcased in our above project, we used one of our favourite brands – VADO, adding a warm glow to this neutral white/grey palette. The depth of the gold characteristics lifts the whole room adding opulence and emanating warmth with a classic/contemporary twist. Whilst the roundness in shape across all the brass-ware softness the squarer shaker style vanity.

Whether you’re looking to make your room a chic contemporary hotel en-suite or a lavish classical boutique; there are many offerings in shape and style to complement any design. As designers, we will walk you through the options.

Axor, another one of our favourite brass-ware brands gives an edgier look to bathrooms. So, if you’re looking for something a bit more unique in design the angular style of the Citterio E is a perfect choice.

The final consideration when choosing brass-ware, is to understand what exact blend, colour and finish is required to achieve your desired outcome. It isn’t as simple as choosing gold, brass or rose; there are other considerations such as deciding on a polished or brushed finish. Additionally, you need to deliberate whether your bathroom needs a yellow gold or a slightly less bright brass feel; in which case perhaps a red gold option would work better in your design – particularly if your desired tiles require a richer heat than the yellow of gold or brass offers.

BATHS AND SHOWERS

Although it may seem like there aren’t many considerations when it comes to your bath or shower, it can be the little details, such as bath grips or shower enclosure handles that are predominately in chrome that clash against the golden elements in your bathroom.

These may seem minor details but they do make a huge difference to the completed look and as designers, they are at the forefront of our mind. By using brands such as Bette with bath grips available in white or brands such as VADO and AXOR that offer us brass and gold finishes on bath wastes/plugs, we can ensure that even the finer details are in the right finish.

RADIATORS AND HEATING

The towel radiator is another item usually overlooked. However, this essential and practical piece of bathroom paraphernalia can help to accentuate your design. TILES

The choices are endless when it comes to tiles. This is often the most worrisome part for our clients as tiles can completely change the feel of a design. There are two avenues of thought to consider when choosing the look. You can either accentuate the golden elements with further gold patterns within your tiles or add a contrast with the tiles and make those gold elements spark!

A trend we are seeing amongst our clients are the use of a more understated pattern and tone; this is often captured using marble. The notable feature with the range of tiles our suppliers at Porcelanosa and Minoli offer us, is the ability to offer two tones to the design table. We have the more traditional and widely known silver/grey character to marble. Or, add warmth to your wall coverings with a softer vein to the marble pattern. See below:

The other option is to go bold and introduce definite elements of gold into a mosaic such as the striking Marvel range below:

The wonderful thing about this mosaic, is it can be used in classical designs due to its textures and tones. However, it sits just as comfortably in modern and contemporary designs too; due to its geometric patterns which offers the angled lines complementing the shapes available in modern styles.

Your final option, as mentioned earlier in this blog, is to go for contrast. A stark difference behind your gold taps, valves and shower enclosure etc, can make the gold pop adding that wow-factor that will enhance any bathroom design.

Kefla has been begging Vados to train her to go ultra instinct ever since the tournament of power. Her hard headed nature means she's nowhere close to actually achieving the form but she WAS able to tap in to it briefly. Unfortunately it was only her stomach and guts that became autonomous and moved independent from the rest of her mind and body.
