Hi Thanks again for answering my ask! I just wanna tell you that I finished watching S1 of VC and I gotta say it was better than I expected? Good news: I really liked it. Bad news: Netflix doesn’t have S2 and I’ve been left hanging in that last episode. I saw the trailer for S2 and I’m a little confused because it seems like Clara is falling in love with yet another guy? I actually liked all the new characters so far but let’s see because this show kinda has its ups and downs with the writing.

Hey! No problem, and I’m so glad you liked it! I do think the key is/was going in knowing what to expect, because then the good stuff shines all the brighter. Of the new characters, my favorite was Paloma, and while she didn’t come in until the very end of S1, Diana (Pedro’s potential new love interest) made a positive impression on me, so I’m curious to see where her character goes.

Last year, Netflix added S1 in April, and they may just stick with that timetable for the release of S2. Until then, the amazing @fyeahgranhotelandvelvet is doing subtitles of the episodes. She’s got episodes 1 and 2 posted already! Here’s the direct link to the masterpost.

Seriously, where does Velvet find their music? Its all old songs released around the time the show is set -- yet they’re not generally digitized, and almost none are on spotify.

Whoever is in charge of the Velvet soundtrack, I salute you.
