After a over year of family things, new medical issues and general lack of motivation….. I HAVE FINALLY FINISHED SEASON 6!!!! 🎉 🎉

Okay I’m really glad that Moonchild was never able to pull a Simon but I’m sad about Veronica, I hope she still is in the audio and if not I hope she returns someday.

And I hope Sam finds out what happened to his sister, both my Five and myself really want that closure for him. Although I immediately twigged that she was possibly in the baby factory as because Sam is immune to the zombie virus, there is a chance his sister is too.

Actually do you guys want to know what the really hilarious thing is? At Sigrid’s end, I was listening to The Final Countdown by Europe on my ZR playlist (season 2’s penultimate missof the same name is the reason it’s on there plus it’s a damn good song!) I didn’t know that it was bu-bye Sigrid today even as I got to the audio clip because I just assumed she’d escape.

Anyway the funny thing is that The Final Countdown is the EXACT SONG I remember I was listening to during lockdown whilst running Something Good, the final mission in Season Two when Van Ark bit the dust.

I guess couples who plot the end of the world together get a theme tune when they die four seasons apart 😂

Anyway I’m so happy I can start season 7 now, I’m excited for what comes next because OF COURSE corpses can now get reanimated via post death infection, we wouldn’t have story if getting the cure was the final problem!

**Up to Season Five spoilers for Zombies Run**

So I ran Voodoo Doll today (S5M5) and we ran into Dr. Necropolis again and can I just say 😂 He is in the bag of “may betray me or break my heart” for this season. Because holy fuck I do *not* trust him??? The way he seems to know stuff about Abel (I remember in like the circus episode he makes a jab about Veronica knowing what to do with the vial and I’m fairy certain NO ONE had mentioned Veronica prior to that) and how he reacted to finding out people were alive, but seemed unsurprised that Paula and I were alive, is just really weird and concerning. Especially how surprised he was about Janine? And how he acted like he knew her, but Janine didn’t recognize him?? Like????? W h a t? I know he has hypothetically only ever helped us so far, and he did save Paula and I’s asses when we were trapped in that circus, but something just seems off about him. But hey, we maybe found a place to live until we can get Abel back from Sigrid so 🥳 Will definitely take that as a win!!!

Zombies Run S3M49 Sowing Season

I did this run on Oct 12th after a very hectic three days at work. I didn't get my three-day weekend. Hope I can replace it with another day this year.

This is an AI-generated image of a tequila distillery with some nettles in front of the door. Why nettles? I guess because they are rough around the edges.

Six vats are missing from the distillery and I don't know what that signifies. In the meantime, Veronica is going back to the treetop base to learn about something relating to the Natural History Museum. I hope it can help us stop Moonchild. I'm getting so sick of her yellow aura, why hasn't she choked on it already.

Some Chris McShell doodles! Apologies to Sam but Chris is probably my favorite character in ZR. I have a few headcanons about this man:

Chris and his wife had Veronica at a young age—like 19. I don’t know why I think this but it fits.

Chris comes across as an impersonal know it all like in the beginning of Information Exchange, but if you get to know him he is very kind and very gentle. Five appreciated that such a quiet guy could have such chaotic experiments.

He and his wife have since separated, but are still good friends and keep in touch for Veronica’s sake.

Chris has ASD.

Chris and Five become very good friends after “Information Exchange” (the event in the drawing actually happened when I ran the mission the first time. I got frustrated with Sam and said the same thing as Chris at the same time). Since Five studied animal behavior in college before the apocalypse, she was a good assistant for Chris and his many behavior based experiments. Five still can’t decide if she loved Chris as a friend or something more.

Five was devastated after Chris died. She was the one to bury him, and she always kept a lookout for his daughter. When she found Veronica, she made a promise to a long-gone Chris to keep her safe. She’s fiercely protective of Veronica, but in a way that isn’t too intrusive, or else Veronica shuts her out. Sam has noticed that on runs involving Veronica, Five runs behind her to keep a lookout, or in front of her if they’re going into a situation blind, acting as a human shield.

He is a constantly tired man. Constantly. Just. Let him rest.
