Captains Log 18_ Welp!

This weekend was trill but getting back into the grind mode and figuring out our next moves as far as living situation was stressful! We had to leave our skybox rental unexpectedly due to racism... More on that later...

Aint no part like a  Benji party fr... if you on the grid and never been to one its a must! Popped out to a chill bday party they had a 5kLinden twerk contest goin and then Saucy Santana showed up and surprised us with a bomb ass performance! It was litty!

Pure excellence and entertainment! It really showed me the appeal to going out to see an SL celeb performance. I have seen a few ads around and also a friend of mine manages some acts. After seeing that performance I definitely want to experience the full package! Its another fun thing to enjoy on the grid! I know there’s SL Brandy, on my list!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Jamaica and it solidified the idea that we have to be living by the beach! Me and my baby girl are true Pisces kids floatin in this fishpond of a grid. ;)

One thing I was proud of recently is the completion of my store sign and first SL storefront! Its quaint and I am juiced to be adding more to it!! We will probably be moving locations next week but this was a great experiment to get more of a  feel of what I want to do with it in the end. Big things poppin.

One thing about us... we real, we see shit and we talk & joke about everything. I am grateful for this man! Ten toes.

Graduation 🎓

A few of my family members and friends were supposed to graduate either high school or college this year. It sounds crazy to think that all of your hard work consisted in four years is represented by a graduating virtual ceremony but it is what it is. We can not help what our society is facing today, we must do what we do best and adapt to whatever situation is going on. I found this article extremely helpful for seniors or college graduates to plan out their own personal ceremony. I think it’s important for students to take part in creating their own because they deserve to have felt accomplished, and have recognition of all their hard work. Without even the online ceremony there will be a sense of nonclosure, and I think it’s important to close a chapter of your life in order to move onto the next. A close friend of mine just graduated from University of Syracuse, although devastated her family created an empty space in their living room filled with foldable chairs and all sat in front of the computer together while the ceremony was in progress. After, they celebrated by having a “Drive by graduation”. All her family and friends drove by her house with champagne, flowers, posters, and images showing their congratulations to the graduate. I think an experience like this is original and will be unforgettable. I love how people are adapting to the change of ceremonies like this, and not letting this pandemic take anything else from them :)
