Vladimir Majakovski: VOLIM
fotografija ognjen karabegović Volim Brodovi – i oni u luke se sliše. Vozovi – na stanicu teraju i oni. A mene ka tebi nešto tim više – jer volim – vuče i goni.

Vladimir Draga → Peter Facinelli → Warlock
→ Basic Information
Age: 614
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Powers: Aerokinesis
Birthday: February 17th
Zodiac Sign: Aquarius
Religion: Hellenism
Mark: Draga
Generation: 1st
→ His Personality Vladimir, who prefers being called Vlad, has developed throughout his years. He was once erratic, immature, impulsive, and intense. A man who craved power. Vlad was extremely unpredictable, violent, and had horrible impulsive behavior due to the rejection and abuse during his early childhood. He shunned his feelings, he was emotionally erratic and paranoid, and easily found weakness in those who wore there’s on their sleeves. As he grew with his anger towards the world the more he lost and the more he started reevaluating his outlook on life. Especially, when his powers turned against him and Vlad remained invisible for 68 years, 3 months, 22 days and 19 hours. Young, untrained and unable to control his powers, Vlad watched as his family, friends and the world moved on without him; the majority of them were happy that he was gone.
It changed him. It developed him into the man he is today. Vlad is a logical chess player that watches the world around him quietly before speaking, calculating, being able to look ahead and anticipate others. He wants the most out of life; experiencing love and fatherhood as he developed for the better. He has done a complete 360. However, when angered or under stress, he quickly returns to his self-reliant and suspicious old manners; being distrustful and fearful of what others will impose on him. He will be harsh and judgmental. It took a lot for him to grow and fulfill his need for love which is often upset with a snap of a finger when annoyed and drowning under pressure.

Aldee Meago (Mother): Aldee died nearly in her 100s and gave Vlad the best years of his life. If he could he would bring her back to meet her grandkids.
Sibling Names:
Viktor Draga (Brother): Viktor shares Vlad mark. He is Vlad's younger brother. Vlad took on Viktor’s last name and has made it their official mark name.
Vara Sookram nee Draga (Sister): Vara is Vlad's younger sister and closest friend. They have their powers in common and a similar personality.
Villard Draga (Brother): Villard is the youngest of them all. Vlad does care for his youngest brother but Villard is too immature for Vlad’s liking.
Vaughn Draga (Brother): Vaughn is Vlad’s oldest brother by two years but the last to be found and added into their family. They get along well enough.
Children Names:
Fallon Draga (Daughter): He doesn’t know where Fallon gets it from but she is the wild child his mother cursed on him when he was young and growing up.
Alucard Draga (Son): Alucard is much like his replica. He’s quiet and enjoys solitary. Vlad finds himself connecting with his son more easily as he ages.

→ History Since the day Vladimir was born, he had been fighting with himself and the world around him. His mother did the best she could and tried to raise him right, but Vlad fell in with the wrong crowd at a young age. He was pulled into piracy at the age of 8. He was scrubbing decks, assisting gun crews and was the aid of the cook. He was treated harshly, rarely paid and Vlad knew he was expendable. He was surprised when he made it to the age of 12 years old and the crew kept him around. He was sure it was because of his relationship with the sailing masters who were officers in charge of navigation and piloting. Vlad had always had a great sense of direction and feel for air movements. He had helped them out of a storm when he was only 9 years old and had earned their respect. By the time he was 14 years old they allowed him to disembark with them as they battled over treasures, raided governed towns, gathered cured meats and fermented vegetables for their journey and pillaged lawless villages. He was also allowed to eat, drink and be merry with the crew, which was a great come up from fighting with the other younger boys his age for crumbs off the floor when the crew finished eating. As the years onboard continued, Vlad had worked his way up to gunmen then junior officer when the captain requested that he was trained as a sailing master. His mother didn’t approve and refused to use his blood money for her living, but she was always happy when he made port and came home.
Vlad was a senior pirate that had been on many ships and well into his mid-30s when he noticed he had abilities no one else had. Mostly everyone called it luck and wanted him on their ships, but Vlad was uneased by his nearly ‘supernatural’ abilities. After plundering the wrong village, Vlad’s ship was attacked hundreds of miles from land, yet he was the sole survivor. He held his breath as the rough seas took him under repeatedly as he made his way home. He swam when he could and floated on his back when he couldn’t. While his mother was happy to see him and have him home, the other villagers counted him as a traitor and abandoner. He lost his street and sail credits and not even the whores would see him. He grew angry and bitter, turning to rum and stalking in his home. It was the one-year anniversary of the death of his crewmates when some of the villagers thought it would be fun to burn down his home and drag him to the sea to die. It was fun but not for them. Vlad was enraged that he had survived and was being punished for it. The air left the area surrounding his cabin, those villagers and a few undeserving animals, and they all choked to death as Vlad yelled in anger and frustration.
He was on the run with his mother when she commented on his skin and him aging well. Vlad was nearing 40 years old and still looked like he could be in his twenties. That’s when he remembered stories about witches and warlocks from one of the ports they visited. They were hundreds of years old and still looked young, they were able to kill with one word or a snap of a finger, and they were hard to kill themselves. When they finally settled on the outskirts of France, they had been traveling for months and Vlad had been testing his theory while his mother slept. Not fully trusting society, Vlad chose to purchase a plot of land with what money he had saved up from his days of piracy. As he built, the neighboring farmer's daughter caught his eye. He needed a wife and he knew nothing would make his mother happier. They were married within the fortnight but she and his unborn child died during a plague years later.
When Vlad's mother died at the age of 97, he was devastated and his world was dark all around. He still looked like he was in his twenties but he was 83 years old. He knew nothing about himself or whatever power he held. Vlad decided to sell his land and restart his quest for answers. He ran every loose end, hunted down every tale and sought out to kill posers who wanted to trick him out of his money. Vlad was 211 years old when he gave up on his search and was considering taking his life when he went invisible. Vlad remained invisible for 68 years, 3 months, 22 days and 19 hours. He was found by Ambrocio Ee (Lee), who taught him how to change back and explained that he was just like him. He was traveling from Nagasaki to England for a potential tutoring job when he noticed Vlad cold stares into nothing. When Ambrocio heard of Vlad's story he offered his sincere apologies and offered to mentor Vlad instead of continuing to England. Vlad offered to follow him on his journey, wanting to leave that part of continental Eroupe behind him.
Apparently, Vlad had mastered deoxygenation and aerokinetic creation during his time as a pirate and while he was on the run. Ambrocio focused more on his invisibility, of which Vlad was hesitant in the beginning but quickly caught the hang of turning himself and objects around him invisible. Ambrocio was a hard teacher and tried his hardest to get Vlad caught up with not only his powers but spells, charms, potions and more. Vlad worked day and night on learning his basic and advanced powers. It was during a day trip to Wales when Vlad met Viktor and Vara. They shared the same mark and the two of them lived off of the land like nomads. Viktor was only two years younger than him and Vara was five years younger. Vlad was skeptical at first but Vara showed him that she could manipulate storms and tornadoes, both of which Ambrocio had yet to mention to him. Vlad said his goodbye and gave Ambrocio his gratitude but followed after his siblings.
Vlad had stopped counting but he was in his 300s when he met Rhiannon. She reminded him so much of his deceased wife and Vlad couldn’t remember the last time he was willing to skip a lesson to spend time with someone he barely knew. She was 400 years his senior but they formed an unbreakable connection from the start. He eventually started to court her and they were married just as quickly. Vlad continued to practice his magic with his siblings' help and was grateful for Rhiannon understanding that he wouldn’t want to have a child while he still learned to control his powers. Rhiannon removed them from their nomadic life and reintroduced them to the finer life once again after many years. It wasn’t long before they moved overseas to America. Vlad loved the culture and could easily find work since he had picked up over 14 languages in his travels; now he’s expanded to 267 languages that also helps with his job. They eventually settled in Chicago. To Vlad’s surprise and to the surprise of his family he had quickly mastered all of his known powers and had the opportunity to mentor Audo Wilhelm for 20 years. It was about 77 years ago when they discovered Rihannon was pregnant. It came as a shock to both of them that she was carrying twins, one boy and one girl. → The Present Vladimir has had a tough life. Remaining stationary in Chicago is slowly getting under his skin. Vlad has been thinking about possibly vacationing in Hawaii, Tahiti, Bora Bora and Fiji. Especially since he and Rhiannon are nearing their 300 year anniversary. He wants a break away from the busy city life with a full month of lazing around on beaches and eating tropical foods. He cannot remember the last time his family vacationed on an island or away from big inner city tourist attractions. He has made comments about leaving for vacation but Vlad is sure that his family is taking it as a joke. He has already let some of his major clients know that he might not be available in the future and is planning on bringing his proposal to Rihannon and letting her decide whether now is a good time since they’ll be leaving behind her mentees and also removing their own kids from under their mentors for a period of time.

Wizarding Russian Empire and USSR || Yefrem Iosifovich Levandovsky
Early Life Yefrem Iosifovich Levandovsky was born in the Vitebsk region of Belarus on 30 June 1877. His father, Iosif Yakovlevich Levandovsky, was a rozhdennyy zemley of Jewish Belarusian descent while his mother, Yelisaveta Yeliseyevna Ivina, a Russian Orthodox halfblood. His parents were both sympathizers of the KDMM and opposed to the Volshebny Duma and they passed on those values to their three children. From early childhood, he was a close friend of the two Krasavkina sisters, Ursula and Zaria Kresnikovna. Though raised in Belarus, he also spent parts of his childhood in Georgia, as his father's older sister, Iokhaveda, was married to a Georgian zemylanin.
He attended Koldovstortez from 1887 until 1895, the same year that he joined the Obshchina. In 1896, he first met Nikolai Savvich Babushkin in Paris before returning to the Russian Empire where he took up residence in Georgia with his widowed aunt to avoid the Storozhey. He married Draga Iosifovna Lutsenko, the younger sister of Oksana, in 1899 and had two sons and a daughter by her between 1899 and 1904. That same year, he first met and befriended the young Afanasiy Anastasovich Kostov and his sidekick, Baghdasar Haykovich Mirzoyan. During this time, he also frequently visited Lysaya Gora and Ledenets. Following the falling out between Nikolai Babushkin and Nestor Levandovsky (he and Nestor were of no relation, as Nestor was a Russified Pole), he and Zaria Krasavkina were both his primary two aides and assistants.
After World War I broke out, he and his wife left their children behind to secretly return to the Russian Empire. He and Afanasiy Kostov were both arrested in 1915 and exiled to Siberia where they would stay until the Volshebny Duma disbanded in 1917.
Revolution Upon their return to Lysaya Gora, Levandovsky and Kostov were receptive to the idea of cooperating with the provisional ministry conditionally, but quickly found that their exiled leader did not agree. Upon Babushkin’s return, their positions grew further apart and, infamously, he and Krasavkina were the only two high-ranking officials to vote against a coup, both of which they later would come to regret.
After the coup, they and Nestor Feodorovich Voinov, among others, tried to push for a coalition government between the BK, the Shabash Volshebnikov, and the KDMM, but this also failed. From early on, Levandovsky was extremely critical of the amount of power that the Zhnetsy were granted, but his attempts to curb their use of terror were not successful. From 1918, he was elected as the Vedmak of Lysaya Gora, but did not build up much of a power base in this position. He was, however, noted for being one of the most humane and forgiving BK officials.
Succession Crisis As the Civil War went on, he became increasingly opposed to his sister-in-law, Oksana Lutsenko, and her husband and second cousin, Vladimir. This was a position shared by Krasavkina and on Levandovsky’s advice, they joined in an alliance with Afanasiy Kostov to isolate Lutsenko after Babushkin's death in 1922. Both Oksana and Vladimir, however, were hampered in their ability to fight back, as both were struggling with ill health and personal problems. By 1925, they successfully managed to get Oksana and Vladimir both removed from their positions as Commissars of Defense.
The alliance between Krasavkina, Kostov, and Levandovsky abruptly collapsed by the spring of 1925 with Krasavkina and Levandovsky seeking support from Babushkin’s elder daughter, Marya Nikolayevna Babushkina, and Svetovid Svarogovich Zolotarev, who had grown increasingly wary of the amount of power Kostov was consolidating into his hands. Kostov, meanwhile, allied himself with Nestor Voinov, Anfisa Zoranovna Krupina, and Ustinya Feodorovna Orlova and Babushkin's younger daughter, Yelena. This was not enough and Krasavkina and Levandovsky were instead forced to seek an alliance with their former enemy, Oksana Lutsenko in 1926. Their positions even then did not improve: Marya was forcibly silenced by Kostov and his allies by blackmail material they gathered about her and her late father and Lutsenko and Krasavkina had both been expelled from BK by December 1927.
Levandovsky attempted to salvage the situation, but it was too late and he was also expelled from the BK. Around the same time, he and Draga Lutsenko divorced and he married a younger woman, Milena Petrovna Sidorenko, in 1927. He and Krasavkina both sensed that they had lost, so they capitulated to the party line and ordered their followers to do the same. Lutsenko refused and was exiled to Rostov-on-Don with her husband and three of her sons.
Submission Levandovsky was allowed to return from exile and readmitted to the BK in 1928, as was Krasavkina and both were given mid-level positions. That following year, though, he secretly met with Krupina and Zolotarev in Lysaya Gora where Krupina complained to both of them about her growing distrust of Kostov and his favorites. Notes from this conversation were leaked, however, when Levandovsky’s secretary was arrested by the Zhnetsy in 1930, which provided the perfect pretext for Kostov to remove Krupina and her allies, Voinov and Orlova, from power.
After 1930, Kostov returned to a policy of supporting the collectivization of agriculture that the zemlyanin Soviet officials were pursuing while also cracking down on non-humans rights’ of limited self-governance. Such policies caused alarm from many quarters and there were legitimate fears that both policies were going to bring rebellions that would ultimately destroy both the magical and non-magical USSR. In 1932, Levandovsky and Krasavkina both received companies of pamphlets composed by Isidora Kipranovna Zelinskaya and the Union of War Widows and secretly met at the home of Krasavkina’s sister with some of their followers to discuss what they could possibly do. This came to nothing, however, as no one could decide what to do.
The existence of Zelinskaya’s pamphlets was discovered in the fall of 1932 by the Zhnetsy and an enraged Kostov ordered that Levandovsky and Krasavkina be exiled to the Urals for not informing him of such sedition. They were permitted to return only in June 1933. Meanwhile, things improved somewhat for Levandovsky afterwards, due to the support of his friend, Dionsiy Dmitryevich Polynkin. That, however, would not last
Arrest In the spring of 1934, Levandovsky, Krasavkina, and their close allies, Violetta Dmitriyevna Solovieva and Valentin Antonovich Buzenko were all arrested on the suspicion that they had been involved with the deaths of Marena Kulchytskaya, head of the Zhnetsy, and Dariy Kserksovich Mironov, Vedmak of Ledenets. Though Kulchytskaya’s killer proudly claimed to have been acting alone, Levandovsky was sentenced to five years in prison in the Urals, while the others were given sentences between five and ten years. The four of them were held in rooms away from the general population that consisted of two bedrooms without doors, a general living area, and one bathroom that had a door but no lock. Krasavkina and Levandovsky were not permitted to go outdoors and had little privacy as the guards could and did burst in whenever they were pleased. All the rooms were bugged in hopes that they might have incriminating conversations, but no such luck. The four were often heard arguing (as Levandovsky and Buzenko blamed Krasavkina for their predicament), but nothing was said that indicated they were conspirators in a plot.
Meanwhile, the charges against Levandovsky became more serious in 1935 when his brother, Yakov, and former sister-in-law, Gekata Tserberovna Akanitova, were both accused of having been operating terrorist cells in the Dubovaya Roshcha and Koldovstortez under the noses of Shalva Irakliyevich Zalkaliani and Shushanik Khosrovovna Tehlirian (though Zalkaliani and Tehlirian’s roles were later changed to have been the instigators). He was given five more years in prison and he and Krasavkina were both moved into solitary confinement. While Krasavkina’s sanity unraveled, Levandovsky managed to keep his bearings and wrote frequent letters to his wife denouncing both Krasavkina and Solovieva, as he knew that they would be read by the Zhnetsy and hoped this would lessen his sentence.
This did not work. In July 1936, he, Krasavkina, Solovieva, and Buzenko were removed from prison in the Urals and moved to Nawia, the main headquarters of the Zhnetsy. Unbeknownst to the four, three of their associates, Sofoniya Isaakovna Arkhipienka, Kastitis Vitoldovich Golshansky, and Azovka Bulatovna Timurova, had been battered into confessing that they had all been operating a terrorist group with Germes Afinodorovich Golubtsov at the instructions of Oksana Lutsenko and three of her four sons.
Levandovsky kept his composure throughout his interrogations and acted polite, but cold and defiant. He was broken, however, when he was informed that he didn't confess, his two oldest sons, Yevgeny and Iosif, would be charged instead. The childless Krasavkina had been broken, meanwhile, by being stripped naked, covered with honey, and left outdoors. The two agreed to meet to discuss terms of their confessions with Kostov and two of his associates, Sevastyan Viktorovich Ryndin and Valery Vsevolodovich Medvednikov. Krasavkina and Levandovsky were forced both of them to beg on their knees for their lives and those of their families, followers, and their supposed allies who were still (at the moment) free.
Trial and Execution Levandovsky was well-groomed and outwardly calm at his trial (in stark contrast to Krasavkina's behavior and appearance). He remained stoic when the sentence of death was pronounced.
In the early hours of the early morning of 23 September, he was waken up. Though he seemed to know what was coming, he walked quietly and calmly to the dungeon. After Krasavkina finally arrived (she had to be carried), Andrestiya Dombrovskaya then pulled out a paper and read from it, “In view of their monstrous crimes, no further appeals from the defendants will be permitted. Henceforth, their executions shall proceed as ordered. Signed (insert names).” Levandovsky, recalling all the people they’d falsely incriminated, turned pale and said, “What have we done?” Golubtsov buried his face in his hands and said, “Oh God, I knew it… We’ve doomed ourselves and everyone else—and all for nothing.” Krasavkina merely responded by breaking into a fit of hysterical laughter and tears.
After Dombrovskaya left the room to wait outside, the executions then began with Krasavkina, Levandovsky, and Golubtsov left for last, as it had been ordered that they should be forced to watch their former comrades and allies die. Krovopuskov then grabbed the still-hysterical Krasavkina, who had began clawing at her own throat while crying and screaming, but Medvednikov interrupted and said she should be saved for last. Golubtsov went first and told the witnesses (Medvednikov, Kardos, and Sobakina), “May your beloved master reward you all as he has us.” With only Levandovsky and Krasavkina left alive, Medvednikov smiled and said, “Before you die, I just wanted you to know that the Sovet Koldunov send their kindest regards. You’ve both been of great service. Soon our great motherland will be free of traitors and you made it all possible.”
Aftermath After Levandovsky's execution, his brother, two eldest sons, second wife, and son-in-law were all executed in 1937. His first wife, Draga, and elder daughter, Yelisaveta, were both sentenced to spend ten years in prison, but were both executed in 1941 alongside a large group of other political prisoners. One of his daughters-in-law, Maria Ignatiyevna Ivanova, was also arrested and sent to Vyraj, though Yevgeny’s wife, the Polish actress, Yekaterina Geneziyevna Maslyanka, was instead merely exiled to Astrakhan.
His three grandchildren and two younger children were all placed in orphanages until they were old enough to be arrested and sent to Vyraj. His sister, Yesfir, and sister-in-law, Gekata Akanitova, were also both sent to Vyraj and died there in the 1940s. In the 1950s, his two younger children and grandchildren were all alive and released from imprisonment, though his eldest grandson, Yakov Yevgenyevich Levandovsky, died fairly young.

The Thomas family was shamed, neighbors believing that James ran off with a slave girl. Months later Kudzai found out she was carrying his child.
Roman Cleirigh (Unwanted Attraction): Roman is asexual but Kudzai has tried more than once to get the insane Cleirigh into her bed.
Mu’ba (Ex-Boyfriend): He was a strong and handsome man that Kudzai met in passing. Mu’ba found a way to weaken her powers. Causing their fun loving relationship to take a turn for the worst. It took Kudzai over 34 years to break away from the abusive relationship. It took another 135 years for Kudzai to kill Mu’ba, all within his lineage and associates that knew what he was doing to her..
Minsky Edison (Husband/Separated): Kudzai was smitten when Minsky chose to pursue her romantically. She held out because of the notion that Neuromancers die randomly and the dark cloud of her past relationships. However, he eventually won her over and Kudzai finally found true love and settled down. When their son Jamie passed away, nearly 60 years ago, it put a strain on their relationship and they eventually separated. Since then Minsky and Kudzai have been off and on again; they are currently on again and planning to rekindle their marriage for good this time. Kudzai knows Minsky is it for her but needs to heal on her own.
Platonic Connections:
Sid Velanica (Great Something Grandson): Kudzai hated Sid when they first met. It took decades before she saw his talents and was able to detach him from his mark. Sid is clever and has a good heart, despite being descended from her children. Kudzai neither approves or disapproves of Sid’s relationship with Sada.
Cassia Trelawny (Mentee): Kudzai had originally thought Cassia was from her family line. Cassia fought to prove that while she does not know her parents she was not from the Rinker lineage. Kudzai does not know exactly why she accepted Cassia as her mentee. Kudzai saw something in Cassia that she could not put her hands on. They have a strong mentor and mentee relationship but nothing more.
Tristan Lawton (Mentee): In all her years Kudzai has never met someone with such passion for magic and the willing ability to use it but is an absolute disaster at it; Tristan has the drive but he does not have the telent. Her hands are full and tied with him. She is too afraid for mankind and the entire universe to let him train under anyone else. She believes they are slowly making progress.
Sada Warren (Ex-Mentee): Sada and Kudzai have a surprising relationship. Kudzai is certain it started around the same time she lost her son, Jamie. Sada will never replace her boy but she means more to Kudzai then most of her children. Kudzai neither approves or disapproves of Sada’s relationship with Sid.
Ronan Cleirigh (Council Member): Ronan believes Kudzai purposely goes against him on Council decisions. Kuzai is constantly competing with him.
Jace Cicero (Council Member): Jace and Kudzai are both very closed off and relaxed compared to others their age and who are on the local Council. This makes being friends easy. They are both able to leave Council business in the Council Room and continue about their day without taking it out on others.
Rhiannon Draga (Council Member): Rhiannon, Minsky, and Kudzai are all close friends outside of the Council. Rhiannon and her husband, Vladimir would often join Minsky and Kudzai for couples night. Rhiannon was a big comfort when Jamie died and helped Kudzai through her grieving process.
Kaylor Genesis (Best Friend): Kaylor is one of the other older females in Chicago beside Rhiannon and Kudzai. They have formed an unlikely friendship due to their strikingly different personalities. Kaylor has the ability to bring out the best in Kudzai and Kudzai’s happiest memories are usually shared with Kaylor.
Clarisse ‘Clara’ Fields (Associate): Clara is a part of the Animal Shifter Council. They rarely talk and Kudzai has nothing to say to her besides pleasantries.
Chris Bialar (Associate): Chris is a part of the Animal Shifter Council. They recently started speaking about a possible supernatural schooling system.
Ellis Watts (Associate): Ellis is a part of the Animal Shifter Council. They rarely talk and only share pleasantries. Kudzai knew Ellis’ father and felt the same.
Juliette Willott (Associate): Juliette is a part of the Animal Shifter Council. They rarely talk and Kudzai has no respect or patience in regards to her.
Percy McCormick III (Associate): Percy is a part of the Animal Shifter Council. They rarely talk and Kudzai has nothing to say to him besides pleasantries.
Isaac Baker (Associate): is a part of the Animal Shifter Council. Kudzai has been unsure about Isaac as of lately, especially after he took Deucalion into his pack.
Scorpius Getta (Associate): Getta is the vampire clan master. She finds him annoying and scheming but productive and a better clan master then the previous one. He is easier to work with than the animal shifters but She will never admit it.
Sirius Cobic (Associate): Sirius is the human shifter leader and chief of police. They are the closest out of the clan leaders and council members. She considers him a friend on her good days and they coordinate magical coverups together
Emmett Wilhelm (Acquaintance): Emmett is the liaison for magical users and they have a basic understanding. She wants him to join the Council as a Wilhelm.
Hostile Connections:
Nick Hamelin (Associate): Nick is a part of the Animal Shifter Council. Kudzai knew Nick back when he was rumored to be the Pied Piper. She heard how much he has grown but she would never let her guard down around him, his brother, his mate or his pack.
Deucalion Thornton (Hate): Kudzai’s hatred for Duke also extends to his twin brother, Aries. They both were menace to the warlock society. Duke has recently tried to break a curse that could have exposed the entire supernatural community.

Valentine's Gifts || No Longer Accepting
Due to work, Vlad worried he wouldn't be able to send this one in person. Although, going in person terrified him slightly. What would happen if things went wrong, got awkward? He only prayed the mailing system was punctual. Unfortunately, that didn't seem to be the case.
A small package wrapped in standard parcel paper had arrived at her door with a letter tucked inside. The contents were a book containing hand written recipes, ranging from baked goods to hearty meals. Between some of the pages were pressed flowers, along with the letter that read as follows:
Resi,
I know things haven't exactly been well between us lately, and I want to mend that. I genuinely enjoyed our time before, and want to have that again with you. I do apologize for my awkwardness, my seemingly avoidant behavior. In my past, when people would let me down or something would happen, they didn't want to fix anything and would just abandon me. I guess this has become habit for me... but knowing you want to fix things, even your efforts, it's encouraged me to try as well. Enclosed here is a book I've been working on myself, full of recipes that either I enjoy making, having, or they reminded me of those times before. The flowers recall back to the ones I sent in a previous Valentine. I hope we can mend things, draga mea, and not leave it to be unresolved.
~ yours truly, Vladimir

A naivčina, majko draga? Kako su krenuli, ubrzo ćemo svi pričati ekavski a ovakvi tekstovi će biti pisani ćirilicom. Da ih bolje razumeju u vasioni. I šire...
O silama mraka i tame. Gospodarima života i smrti... A neke pojmove poput: obitelj, domovina, Bog, povijest, radost, nada, vjera.... će jednostavno proglasiti "govorom mržnje".
Unatoč godinama poniženja i dezinformacija, dosta ljudi još nije shvatilo neke elementarne stvari. Jer nam nikada neće oprostiti Domovinski rat. Zato nas MRZE iz dna duše. Ako je uopće imaju?
"Samo budala ne mijenja mišljenje", tvrde neki. Točno. A možda i nije? A on te izdao i sjebo ti državu.
Kako? Vrlo jednostavno. Imaju prekidač (ON/OFF) pomoću koga manipuliraju virusom.
A uz to liječe i napaćenu dušu.
Čudi me to?
Neka tamo otvore obrte i zaposle naše ljude.
Jer gospoda shupci, zaboravljaju jednu bitnu stvar.
A broji mrtve i ranjene koronaše, dva puta dnevno. Što češ na to reć? Sjedi i šuti. Bili smo grana puna plodova.
Zorangutan domoljub? Nemojte me ljudi zajebavat. ISTI SU! I imaju identičan mentalni komunistički sklop.
Bliži se i 4. svibnja, dan kada je ćopavi pedofil otegao papke. Treba to dostojno obilježiti. U 15.05 trebamo stati "mirno" i zapjevati onu staru partizansku: "Otišo si, sarmu probo nisi.."
Suze mi same krenuše.
Jer danas sam samo lud...

O Ljubavi
Pare? Šta će duši?
Nezasit lopov u njoj ipak spije.
Kad bih svoj moćni pustio glas boje duge,
Dim pojeo vazduh ljut.
Soba je - glava u paklu punom buke.
Iza tog prozora, sjeti se prvi put
ludački milovah tvoje ruke.
A sada sediš, srce železno, tudje,
još je dan - teraš me uz osmeh, možda lukav.
U tamnom hodniku nikako da udje
drhtajem slomljena ruka u rukav.
Poći ću, besciljno, do mila vraga.
Daj, poslednjim krikom svojim
da gorčinu uvreda isteramo.
Buka oznoje do umora,
on spas nađe u vodi jaže.
Bez tvoje ljubavi ja nemam mora,
volim te stihovima - ne pomaže.
Da se odmori - i slon se sprema,
legne u pesak, vreli, istinski.
Bez tvoje ljubavi ja sunca nemam,
a ne znam gde si, ne znam s kim si.

Minsky Edison → Charles Michael Davis → Witch
→ Basic Information
Age: 1268
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Powers: Neuromancy
Birthday: October 30th
Zodiac Sign: Scorpio
Religion: Buddhist
→ His Personality
Minsky is approachable and friendly, able to easily bond and make friends with everyone, despite their species. He is courageous and an easily excitable individual. He has a great passion for his work and a tendency to ramble off when describing his findings or hypotheses as a Neuromancer and Council member. Minsky takes his role as a Council member and mentor seriously. He enforces the rules the Council made without fail. Although, Minsky also genuinely care for his mentees and friends, willing to find loopholes or help them plead their cases. He likes to have fun and enjoys being a witch; he takes pride in who he is. Over the years Minsky has gained great leadership skills, his intelligence goes beyond his powers, and his altruistic nature has him ready to go and save a complete stranger at the bat of an eye. None of this which curb his competitive streaks. Minsky enjoys flaunting around his knowledge.
Possibly because of his lack of paternal care growing up, Minsky has a strong parental instinct towards his biological kids and those he gained during his marriage. After losing his only biological son, Minsky's attitude become quiet and subdued, at the same time angry and upset, having lost his child due to an inheritance on his part and a failed marriage.
→ His Personal Facts
Occupation: Mentor and Shield Master
Scars: None
Tattoos: Multiple
Two Likes: Beautiful Surroundings and Privacy
Two Dislikes: Slackers and Shallow Relationships
Two Fears: Being forgotten and Becoming a ghost
Two Hobbies: Tai Chi and Collecting/Listening to Vinyls
Three Positive Traits: Romantic, Altruistic, Joyful
Three Negative Traits: Know-it-all, Over-confident, Strict (Teaching)
→ His Connections
Parent Names:
Darna (Mother): Minsky has a difficult time remembering his mother, her face, and his previous name and last name. However the word Darna is clearly imprinted in his mind. He remembered feeling fondness for his mother, and thinking of her those nights after leaving for sea.
Sibling Names:
None
Children Names:
Lee Cyto Rinker Jr (Step Son): Kudzai's oldest son who is 1018 years old. Kudzai has a strained relationship with her eldest due to how similar he is to his father. Minsky has tried to be as available to him as possible, and they have formed a cautious friendship. Kudzai has a habit of being exceedingly hard on her offspring, and Lee is no exception.
Cristae Zephyr Rinker (Step Daughter): Kudzai's oldest daughter who is 980 years old and responsible for the no-offspring mentoring rule. Minsky gets along with Cristae the least of his step children, but he makes an effort to reach out on important days.
Krebs Jay Rinker (Step Son): Kudzai's middle son who is 364 years old. He is Kudzai and James Thomas' son. Kerbs is Kudzai's least favorite child but Minsky mainly thinks he needs direction. Something he is well aware Kudzai couldn’t give him, for the sake of her own sanity. He found him a job and mentor in Seoul,  and heard he’s doing well in his Master levels.
Hondria Edison Rinker (Daughter): Kudzai and Minsky's only daughter who is 119 years old. She is a talented Projector and was trained by Minsky himself. Despite his advanced age, Hondria was the first child Minsky ever had. He considered himself too much of a risk to have many close personal connections. He could die at any point, and thought he may be better remembered as a leader and mentor, rather than a father. When he held her for the first time however, everything made sense. He could leave as much of his knowledge in the world as possible, but Hondria and Kudzai and their family was his legacy. He vowed to her when she went to sleep the first night that he would be there as long as he possibly could for her. They are still incredibly close and it broke his heart when she left for her advanced levels. He teleports to see her often, but it’s not what he’d imagined all those centuries ago.
Jamie Edison Rinker (Son): Kudzai and Minsky’s youngest son died in his sleep at the age of 17. They came into Jamie’s birth so confident, much more than Hondria’s, assuming he’d be a mental or maybe another biokinetic. When they discovered he was like his father, it suddenly felt like Jamie had been placed into a box with a bomb in it and any movement would set it off. Both Kudzai and Minsky attempted to go on like things were normal. Jamie was energetic and brilliant; the light of his mother’s eye. And Minsky began to see the box and the bomb go away and suddenly a glimmer of hope swelled in him. If it was genetic, and Minsky had been alive for over a millenia who's to say Jamie wouldn’t share the same fate? He still remembers the day Kudzai found him in bed, having died in his sleep. It destroyed him to his core. He prayed that day and so many others afterwards to just switch him for Jamie. He’d had the life he was meant to have; Jaime’s was cut too short. Minsky and Kudzai separated shortly there after; neither one able to forgive Minsky for his part in it.
Romantic Connections:
Kudzai Rinker (Separated Wife/Woman he loves): Minsky believes himself too old to buy into the idea of soul mates, but there is something that has pulled Minsky and Kudzai towards one another for centuries. Too many chances of being in the same place at the same time; too many opportunities to go back to one another. Minsky has never loved anyone the way he loves Kudzai. Her brilliance, and snark, and steadfast beliefs; everything makes her who she is. Losing Jaime devastated them and there was no way either of them could heal together, but Minsky thinks there may be a spark left for them somewhere. A real shot, not just a brief reconnection when the world becomes too lonely. He’ll wait until the end of his days for that woman.
Platonic Connections:
Fiona Kekoa (Mentee): She is only 21 years old, but Minsky is training her in case he dies before they turn 50. She has taken extensive notes on his routines and processes so she may keep his work going if he dies.
Catherine Barr (Mentee): Despite Cat’s beliefs, Minsky completely understands what it’s like to lose a child. However, that’s no excuse to unravel different universes. He’s willing to be sympathetic, but if he finds anything more concrete in her head, he will not hesitate to bring her in front of the council for judgement.
Nikita Platt (Mentee): Minsky finds Nikita refreshingly genuine, especially for a Mnemokinetic. He could see it in her mind, well before she turned 50 and was glad to offer her a spot under his tutelage. Her memory acting up so much already concerns Minsky, but he is willing to assist her with whatever she needs to grow her power. He has already purchased a tracking kit to help her keep track of her keys and phone, and is trying to get her into the habit of putting appointments into her phone so she doesn’t forget them.
Simon Lee Weyden (Future Mentee): Given that he is still alive for Simon’s next level, Minsky has agreed to take him on. He has potential, and unlike many mentors he isn’t prejudiced against Tantric Manipulators.
Rhiannon Draga (Council Member): Minsky has a lot of respect for Rhiannon and considers her a close friend. He is glad she finally found her happiness with Fallon, Alucard, and Vladimir. Before, he often wondered if the melancholia may over take her. Fortunately, he was proven wrong and happily saw her wedding and met her children.
Ronan Cleirigh (Council Member): Minsky and Ronan have been friends for a long time. They can both shimmy in and out of each other's shields, making it easier for Minsky to trust Ronan more than their peers. Their friendship has been a little hard on Minsky as of lately, knowing Ronan hates Kudzai with a passion.
Jace Cicero (Council Member): Jace and Minsky often agree with one another when it comes to council decisions. They tend to keep their cool even when more fiery members of Council do not. The only thing they do not agree upon is Jace’s dating of his mentee, Cat. Minsky is concerned that if Cat needs to be put on trial for any illegal use of her power, that Jace may be swayed by whatever feelings he has for her.
Eric Lasiter (Best Friend): Minsky often finds a weight being lifted off of his shoulders whenever Eric is around. Eric's energy and mind sings to Minsky like fairy tales of muses. Eric was a huge help when Minsky lost Jamie and separated with Kudzai. While they might not be the best at time management when it comes to getting together but when it happens, time seems to melt around them.
Averill Sookram (Ally): Minsky exonerated Averill for a crime by looking through his mind. Minsky has been on Averill’s side for centuries. His exoneration created one of the worst fights between him and Kudzai in the past 3 centuries, but he wasn’t willing to let an innocent man be punished for something he didn’t do.
Sydney ‘Sid’ Velanica (Distant In Law): Minsky is more accepting of those with the Rinker mark than his wife, Kudzai. Minksy never doubted Sidney and even offered to mentor him before Sid chose Jia. Minsky supports Sid's relationship with Sada.
Sol Alfaro (Old Friend): Minsky can honestly say that he has never been friends with an animal shifter until Sol. Sol has lost his wife and went down a dark path of turning to magic to fix the problem. Having seen a lot of death in his time. Minsky advised him against using magic or contacting a necromancer, as a replacement of dealing with his loss. At first, Sol did not take it well but Minsky somehow kept finding him and offering his guidance and friendship. It's been nearly 150 years and they still keep in contact.
Tristan Lawton (Acquaintance): Kudzai has recently informed the Council that one of her mentees may have been misplaced as a Biokinetic. Kudzai is unsure about him being a Biokinetic and believes he may be something else or something new entirely. Minsky and Ronan have been doing research to try and help figure it out before Tristan can do more damage in the wrong field.

Wizarding Russian Empire and USSR || Oksana Iosifovna Lutsenko (3 February 1873 – 14 July 1940)
Oksana Iosifovna Lutsenko was born 3 February 1873 in Odessa. She was the daughter of a well-to-do zemlyanin doctor named Iosif Viktorovich Lutsenko and a rozhdennyy zemley named Olena Milovanovna Rosenbaum. Iosif’s mother had been born a Belarusian Jew, but she had converted to Eastern Orthodoxy before she married his Gentile father. Olena had been been born the daughter of an Orthodox rabbi, but she abandoned her faith in her early teens.
Her mother was a friend of the squib and rozhdennyy zemley rights activist, Semela Zinovyevna Horenko (ironically, the mother of the future KDMM terrorist, Olimpiya Feodorovna Zmeyeva), who pulled strings to ensure that Oksana and her three younger sisters —Aleksandra, Lyudmila, and Draga— would be permitted to attend Koldovstortez despite its annual quotas on rozhdennyy zemley.
Education Lutsenko attended Koldovstortez from 1883 until 1891. She was an excellent student and an overachiever who enjoyed regularly showing up other students, especially those from Old Pureblood families. Much to her annoyance, though, not all them were bothered that because many of the Pureblood students had the attitude that they’d succeed regardless of how well they they did in school. This left her with a lifelong loathing of Old Purebloods as a group, who she characterized as (not necessarily wrongly) as generally self-satisfied, complacent, and lazy.
Marriage and Revolutionary Life Due in part to her experiences at school, Oksana became involved in anti-Volshebyni Duma activities at the tender age of sixteen. In 1891, shortly after completing her studies, Lutsenko was arrested for distributing revolutionary pamphlets, but released after only be held for a month. Despite her mother's general liberalism, her father was quite conservative and neither approved for her radicalism, but she elected not to listen to them. Also in 1891, she become engaged to a school friend and fellow revolutionary, Stanislav Ivanovich Moskhovsky.
However, in 1892, she re-met her married second cousin, Vladimir Ilarionovich Lutsenko, who had escaped from exile in Siberia and fell in love with him. In 1894, she dumped Moshovsky and he abandoned his first wife, Olga Semyonovna Yakovleva, by whom he had had twin daughters, and they eloped. Though they never actually married because Vladimir was technically still married to another woman, they quickly had two sons, Viktor and Ilarion. However, in 1896, both were sent into exile and they sent their eldest sons to live with her parents. They managed to escape from Siberia two years later and fled to Switzerland and later, Austria. In 1899, her mother brought to their two sons to them in Austria, as neither Oksana or Vladimir could go back to the Russian Empire without risking arrest. They went on to have two other sons, Vitaly and Avel, in 1899 and 1901.
The Lutsenkos came to be regarded as a unit and became heavily involved in the revolutionary community abroad. In the 1899, they first met Nikolai Savvich Babushkin and Mariamna Timofeyevna Gretskaya, the co-founders of the Obshchina Ved’m i Volshebnikov. However, Babushkin and Gretskaya had a falling out in 1901 and they split the group into the Bratstvo Koldunov and Shabash Volshebnikov. The Lutsenkos went with Gretskaya, provoking Babushkin’s wrath by doing so.
However, Babushkin’s number two, Nestor Diogenovich Levandovsky was slightly more sympathetic to them and in 1904, invited them to live with him; his wife, Aglaonika Ptolemeyevna Zvezdova; and their two daughters in Corsica. Also invited was Yefrem Iosifovich Levandovsky (of no relation to Nestor) and his wife, who also happened to be Oksana’s younger sister, Draga. This experiment did not end well. Oksana and Yefrem spent all their time arguing, so he and Draga departed after only four weeks. Meanwhile, Zvezdova was annoyed that the Lutsenkos were unwilling to help with the household’s upkeep and that their four sons kept bullying her daughters. Normally a mild-mannered person, she finally had a meltdown after about two months and told them to get out.
Afterwards, the family moved to Vienna where Lutsenko first met her lifelong friends, Berenika Ilyinichna Tsanapas, an Old Pureblood of Romaniote Jewish descent, and Zdravko Vlajković, a Serbian exile from a wealthy Old Pureblood family. After the outbreak of World War I, they were forced to flee Austria for France. In 1916, Anfisa Zoranovna Krupina invited them to Massachusetts in the United States, where she was living with her family and a half-Czech, half-Russian witch named Lyudmila Konvalinkova (future second wife of A.A. Kostov). They took up Krupina on her offer and lived there until they all heard that the Volshebny Duma had been disbanded.
Revolution Upon their return to the Russian Empire, the Lutsenkos both joined in the BK, though their eldest son, Viktor, briefly stayed in Sweden with his French wife, Yseult Raguenel, who had been denied entry as a foreigner.
In 1918, the Lutsenkos became the joint Commissars of Defense and recruited former Aurors who had served under the Volshebny Duma. In practice, Oksana was the spokesman and orator while Vladimir took a more behind-the-scenes role. During this time, Oksana quickly won the undying hatred of, among others, the Latvian Auror, Auseklis Ivanovich Lielzeltins  and the half-Tatar, half-Armenian Commissar, Afanasiy Anastasovich Kostov. Both Babushkin and Zakhariya Finesovich Krapivin tried to reconcile Lutsenko and Kostov, but failed.
Meanwhile, in 1919, Lutsenko won herself another powerful enemy in Zaria Kresnikovna Krasavkina, the Vedma of Ledenets. After hearing that the VSDP Auror, S.V. Medvedev had landed on Buyan and was headed to attack Ledenets (while M.I. Volkov was simultaneously heading to attack Lysaya Gora), Krasavkina had a nervous breakdown and ran around, gave conflicting orders, and refused to sleep. Upon her own arrival in the city to led the defense, Lutsenko publicly smacked Krasavkina across the face and called her a disgrace. The two then proceeded to have an argument while Asteropa Melanionovna Zeltabole and Violetta Dmitriyevna Solovieva were left to work out an (ultimately successful) plan to rout Medvedev and his followers. Eventually, Lutsenko’s pregnant daughter-in-law, Yseult, eventually managed to break up the argument and, in the end, both Medvedev and Volkov were defeated.
By this point, Lutsenko considered the Civil War all but won and devoted most of her attention to arguing about economic and social policies. This meant that she was completely taken by surprise when, in the spring of 1921, a group of renegade Aurors stormed the heavily fortified wizarding school of Koldovstoretz, took it over, and promptly issued a series of demands that included (but weren’t limited to) the dismissal of Krasavkina as the Vedma of Ledenets, a free press, tighter restrictions on the Zhnetsy and the end of the Terror, the waiver of fees to attend Koldovstortez and allowance of halfbreeds to attend, equal rights for non-humans, and so on. This event proved to be a major embarrassment for both Lutsenko, as most of the rebellious Aurors involved were people she had constantly vouched for and its leader, Koliada Cholodenko, was one of her proteges. However, the revolt was then crushed by a combination of Aurors and Zhnetsy with extreme brutality.
Power Struggles in the 1920s Beginning in the fall of 1921, Babushkin’s health rapidly deteriorated and in his absence, the Sovet Koldunov rapidly became a hotbed of intrigue. In February 1922, the two heads of the Zhnetsy, Marena Volosovna Kulchytskaya and Devana Ipabogovna Zalischenko, attempted to worn Lutsenko that Kostov, Krasavkina, and Levandovsky were plotting against her and advised her to seek powerful allies quickly, but thought they were threatening her and ignored them. Instead, of seeking allies, she devoted her attention to writing articles critical of the decisions of her fellow members of the Sovet Koldunov, which won her few friends. Meanwhile, in 1922, her husband fell ill and was sent to the Caucasus to recover.
By 1923, a loose group of malcontents gathered around Lutsenko. They included her old friends, Zdravko Vlajković and Berenika Tsanapas, as well as Volos Leshyevich Dubovich, Inessa Alekseyevna Ehrlich, Germes Afinodorovich Golubtsov, Vlasiy Dariyevich Kravtsovich, Lyudovik Ul’rikovich Nemeczek, Vera Sergeyevna Podgornova, Veronika Faddeyevna Popova, and Asteropa Melanionovna Zeltabole. The brains behind their group was undoubtedly Fekla Germogenovna Filaretova, a priest’s daughter turned revolutionary and economist. In 1925, they gained new allies in Yefrem Levandovsky and Zaria Krasavkina would have quarreled with Kostov and his decision to pursue a new alliance with Anfisa Krupina and Nestor Feodorovich Voinov. By 1926, the only prominent members of the BK who still believed in reconciliation were Kulchytskaya and Mirina Feodorovna Voinova, but the latter died of an illness that year and the former fell dreadfully ill while nursing Voinova through her final illness and almost died.
In 1927, the Opposition abruptly collapsed after Krasavkina and Levandovsky and their followers chose to defect. Not long after, so did some of the other so-called Lutsenkoists, who found themselves stripped of the BK membership, exiled to remote locations, and unable to find employment.
Exile In 1928, she, her husband, and their three oldest sons and their sons’ families were all deported to Rostov-on-Don in January 1928. In October 1928, they were expelled from the Soviet Union to the Mandate for Syria and the Lebanon. (The youngest son, Avel, uninterested in politics, was permitted to stay in the USSR with his family.) Soon after they were joined by Polina, Vladimir’s daughter by his first marriage. In December, Vladimir, who had been ill since 1922, finally died. Still dreaming that they met return to the USSR someday, Lutsenko had him cremated and kept his ashes with her so that he could be buried someday in his homeland.
By 1929, virtually all of the Lutsenkoists had recanted. The few exceptions included Tsanapas, who had committed suicide with her daughter's assistance in November 1928, and Vlajković. In 1930, her eldest son, Viktor, emigrated to France with his French-born wife, Yseult, their children, and Polina while Vitaly traveled to Germany. After repeatedly lobbying the French ministry, Yseult managed to convince them to grant the rest of the Lutsenkos asylum there. Oksana and Ilarion lived in the south, near the Pyrenees, while Viktor and Polina were permitted to live in Paris. This arrangement was short-lived: in 1935, the French Ministry deported her to Algeria and Ilarion elected to accompany her.
In the last days of September 1936, there was another shocking development: Krasavkina, Levandovsky, Golubtsov, and others were put on trial in the USSR where they confessed to all matter of terrorism and destruction, specifically at the specific instruction of the exiled Lutsenkos. The defendants were all executed after the trial and death sentences were also passed against Oksana and three of her sons.
A week after the first Show Trial, Ilarion went for a walk in town outside their home and was ambushed and murdered. The assailants were never caught and their motives are unclear, but the timing made it possible it was an assassination. After Ilarion’s death, Viktor and Polina visited her. It didn’t end well: the depressed Polina, while she didn’t think the charges of terrorism were true, still blamed her stepmother for the deaths of her half-brother, their former comrades as well as her father and her twin sister, Alyona (who had succumbed to an illness in 1933). The argument almost became physical, but Viktor put himself between his mother and half-sister until they both calmed down. Nevertheless, shortly after her return to France, Polina committed suicide by throwing herself into the Seine.
Meanwhile, the repression of the Lutsenkos left in the USSR had began in earnest: Oksana’s two surviving sisters, Lyudmila and Draga; her youngest son, Avel; his wife, Maria Feodorovna Sverchkova; Vladimir’s first wife, Olga Semyonovna Yakovleva; and Alyona’s widower were all arrested and exiled to Central Asia or sent to Vyraj. None were to emerge alive, baring some of their children.
In December 1936, Lutsenko was offered asylum in Cuba and went there with her third son, Vitaly; his German-born wife, Alraune Schwarzwald; and their daughter, Perkhta, while Viktor and his second wife, Mila Lavrentiyevna Vishnova, stayed behind in France. In Cuba, Lutsenko devoted herself mainly to writing and attempting to debunk the over-the-top claims of the first two show trials.
However, further tragedies were still to occur. In August 1938, Viktor and Mila were both assassinated in Paris as part of an operation organized by the head of the foreign intelligence department of the Zhnetsy, Orfna Orfeyevna Olenenko, in a last ditch attempt to save herself. (It didn’t work; she was arrested that October and executed 18 March 1940.) Afterwards, a custody battle broke out over Viktor’s four children and Polina’s daughter, Antonina Feodosiyevna Levonova, between Oksana and Viktor’s ex-wife, Yseult. Yseult was willing to let Antonina and Viktor’s two children by Mila go to Cuba, but was completely opposed to the thought of relinquishing her own children. In the end, Yseult won.
Final Years By this point, Oksana was suffering from increasingly poor health, but chose to remain optimistic. Vitaly, however, thought their days were numbered and contemplated killing his second wife, Urraca Fernández, and his two children to protect them from the agents of the Zhnetsy, but didn’t go through with it.
Unbeknownst to Vitaly and Oksana, however, they had already met the main instruments of their destruction in three Gascon cousins named Rufino Cavaller and Rosemonde and Blanche Reina, who had been recruited to act as agents in 1934 by the Zhnetsy, Yuri Dmitriyevich Astapienia and Fekla Mitrofanovna Ponomarenko, while the two of them had been stationed there. Cavaller and the Reinas had befriended Viktor in 1938 by posing as sympathizers with the connivance of their fellow spy, Vasilisa Viktorovna Herzberg. Though the defector Zhnets, Zlata Bogdanovna Sorokina had warned the Lutsenkos in 1938 that someone in their inner circle was a spy, it seems that none of them chose to listen to her.
In 1939, shortly after Viktor's death, Praskovya Ivanovna Lytovchenko, a close friend of the late Mila Vishnova, and Cavaller and Rosemonde magnanimously offered to take Viktor’s two children and Polina’s daughter to Cuba (Blanche remained behind in France) and so gained Oksana and Vitaly’s trust. (Though Lytovchenko’s role in the operation was at first unknown, it seems clear now that she had no idea that Herzberg, Cavaller, and the Reina sisters were, in fact, spies.)
Afterwards, Cavaller and Rosemonde effectively posed as Lutsenkoist sympathizers, all while they secretly passed information to Blanche back in France. In June 1940, Blanche and Astapienia traveled to Cuba as well and laid out a plan: late at night, Rosemonde would kill Vitaly while Cavaller took care of Oksana and before anyone knew what had happened, they would slip out and escape together. But the plan did not go as planned.
On the night of 14 July 1940, Cavaller gave Oksana a poisoned cup of tea and cookies, but grew nervous when she didn’t touch either of them. Afraid that she was on to him, he panicked and began fumbling around for his wand, but dropped it, and then stepped on it, breaking it in half. Not knowing else to do, he picked up a cauldron in the corner of the room and repeatedly bashed her over the head with it.
Meanwhile, Rosemonde was in the bedroom preparing to the smother the sleeping Vitaly to death with a pillow when the commotion in the study woke him. He shoved her aside and attempted to run to aid his mother, but was prevented from doing so when she ran after him, firing curses, before eventually managing to kill him.
After two hours passed without an appearance from Rosemonde or Cavaller, Blanche and Astapienia figured that things had gone awry and fled to Florida where they discovered that the assassination had succeeded, though not quite in the way they’d intended. Rosemonde and Cavaller were both arrested by Cuban Aurors, yet refused to admit who they were working for, though no one seriously doubted that Kostov had ordered it.
Aftermath Afterwards, the only adult family members left alive were her surviving daughters-in-law, Yseult Raguenel (first wife of Viktor) and Alraune Schwarzwald and Urraca Fernández (wives of Vitaly). Yseult worked often with the French-born Russian writer, Goderna Vladimirovna Oleneva, and insisted until her dying day that time would prove the innocence of her in-laws. Fernández also shared this belief, but how Schwarzwald felt is unknown, because she refused to speak of it.
In 1942, Artur Lutsenko, Viktor’s son by his French first wife, was killed by followers of Grindelwald. Seven years later, Taras Lutsenko, Avel’s only son died mysteriously, in what was later admitted to have been an execution. After being released from Vyraj in 1951, Draga and Lyudmila Lutsenko (daughters of Avel) were evicted from the USSR and chose to move to New York, where they were later joined by their cousin, Oksana, the daughter of Viktor and Mila Vishnova.

Fenrin Gustafsson (Good Friend): Vlad and Fenrin have known each other for many years. Their shared histories on the high seas drew them together but a more solid friendship has grown out of that over the years.
Arianna Garcia (Mentee): Ari shares the same powers as Vlad and Alucard. Since Ari and Alucard are close in age it has been a breeze training them both together.
Alyss De Silva (Mentee): Alyss is interested in spells and painting. Vlad is fine with mentoring her on both until Eric Lasiter has a mentee position open.
