Heya!
My name is Ace and welcome to my blog!
I’ve been on tumblr for quite some time but I started this blog specifically to show off my art. I’m not great yet and really just want to post it to get feedback and hopefully see myself improve. Feedback is always welcome, whether positive or negative. I love my ocs and will always talk about them and never ever ever shut up about them.
I have so many ocs, regular ones but also some related to theme parks such as Alton Towers , Efteling and Walibi Holland!
Anyway I hope you’ll enjoy my stuff!!

Not a psyké specific post, just something I found cool,, the earliest page for Psyké (turbine in this case) on rcdb
The page is from 2009, when the coaster was SBNO.
Interesting detail, the fact about siroccos opening is not on the modern Psyké page. Guess it’s not really debated anymore

Fuck it, imma just say it
I love the X-press Platform 13 (Walibi Holland) so much i decided to write and recreate the story behind it:
The first case, 1965, 2 trains hit eachother fatally on Platform 13, the police didnt know how it happened. The place was evacuated and there were alot of rumors, but no one knew what actually happened.
The second case, 1975, 10 years after the incident there was a memorial and the re-opening of Platform 13. But this didnt happen because of the smoke that suddenly came out of the station. The authorities do not know how the fire started.
Not long after they shut down down the platform for good. Theres also rats that have turned twice the normal size.
The third case, 1995, after 20 years the police closed the case. Families of the people that died in the station are angry about it. A blog of 2 people called Silent Disaster decide to film inside of Platform 13... only to mysteriously dissapear themselfs.
---------------------------
I am not even sure if this is right, but i love to imagine that the metrostation is haunted by one of the conductor's that died in the crash of 1965.

Do you have any Speed of Sound lore or content? It’s so hard to find since they gave up on the WAB area so soon and I HUNGER for it, bats my eyelashes
Hii I sure hope you're not talking about information type of lore as in when it was built, its speed, height and those kind things- Like I could absolutely give you that if you do, but I'm about to go on a small tangent and it'd be kinda awkward.
Speed of Sound as a coaster didn't really have a lot of lore by itself, unfortunately, but it was definitely attached to the theme of the zone and park at the time, there just wasn't an extra storyline specifically for it like other attractions sometimes have. Basically the coaster was supposedly powered by sound and music and that tied into the lift hill, drop, turns and eventually the backwards drop:
Music full force = Rollercoaster speeds off.
Really both the name "Speed of Sound" combined with the visible music theme spoke for itself in terms of what was going on, but it was also literally just said during one of the shows they performed in the zone that the coaster needed noise to work, as well as in the coaster audio itself, more or less. They used the WAB song Hello World with some overlays of a guy doing sound checks of sorts, in the first couple of years anyway. It was replaced with a song by Randy van Velde in the 2015 season, Thrill Ride. Still good, but it lost certain vibes right there. And a bit of extra explanation. Especially when the show stopped being performed too.

This left the physical theming to do most of the lightweight lifting, they had a couple of "music science" elements in both the station and line, but more so the station; a board with ''calculations'' and some pipes and tubes, things like that. They didn't need much more than that in the early years, thanks to the music theme in the rest of the park still going strong. It fit right in, no explanations needed (yet still given repeatedly).
Once that theme began fading into the background before eventually disappearing completely the coaster was still fine to be honest. It felt a little bit more random, like why does the guitar at the entrance look like that? Why are there weird mouth things inside? I actually have no idea what the deal with the mouths was. I'm guessing they were part of the "music computer"? Not nearly as badly as it could've been though, had they decided to lean onto the park theme even more heavily. Random people going to the park without any knowledge of the, and I cannot stress this enough, deranged lore would've been mildly confused. Then again Walibi Belgium's Psyké Underground was fine for a while so who knows-
Basically Speed of Sound slapped its whole run, is what I'm trying to get across. Kinda. Fit neatly into the theme when it was relevant and stood on its own near the end, maybe unintentionally becoming very nostalgic for fans of the old theme while it was at it.
Unfortunately it's been said that the WAB zone it resides in is finally getting a new look like the rest of the park, after being able to avoid it for years. This probably means Speed of Sound will be changing with it and I'm personally not ready to see the giant guitar at the entrance go, but what can you do. I just hope it won't be as bad as some of the other new looks Walibi Holland zones have gotten.
