A Goofy Movie & The Tigger Movie To Be Part Of The Disney Legacy Animated Film Collection Blu-Ray Box-Set

Disney announced today a box set containing 100 animated films with a price tag of $1,500, set to be released on Nov. 14 only on Best Buy. The list of films in the set spans from ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ to ‘Elemental.’

The Box-Set will also include the Disney Television Animation theatrical films "A Goofy Movie" (1995) and "The Tigger Movie" (2000), the first time those movies would release on Blu-Ray besides Disney Movie Club.

Performing arts in school districts are essential to kids, they get to showcase their talent to their classmates. At 7 years old I met my classmate Evangelia Marin who went by Lia, who’s passion for music and performing would amaze not only me but the entire city of Elizabeth. I would end up going to school with her all throughout elementary and middle school and I got to witness her love for music grow. As she performed in every musical and auditioned for every solo in choir and show choir. I reached out to her eager to learn about her progress as an artist after graduating from The American Musical and Dramatic Academy.

1. You have loved singing & preforming at a young age, what sparked your interest ?

- Honestly Disney sparked my interest. I think Disney music was the first type of music I consciously associated emotion with, becoming an outlet. Then seeing Disney’s Beauty and the Beast on Broadway was the thing that made it click. I just felt it in my bones and my heart that I needed to do this!

2. During your time at AMDA what was the most valuable thing you learned?

- The most valuable thing I learned at AMDA was that everything I want in life that worth fighting for whether it’s related to theater or not, comes from hard work. But to always be patient with the process of my work and life. If I’m doing the work as truthfully as I can, everything will fall into place.

3. Have you ever written any music ?

- Yes! I like to compose music, I’m not that good with lyrics though haha.

4. If you could be in any Broadway musical, which musical would you be in, what character, & what song would you be eager to preform?

-  This is such a hard question haha. I’d choose Elphaba in Wicked (currently on broadway right now) and would be so eager to perform “For Good” the beautiful duet between the two female leads of the show!

5. What is your go to audition song ?

- Breathe from In the Heights!!

6. In one word describe how do you feel when you are preforming?

-  Home

7. Out of all the musicals you have been involved in which one was the most memorable & why ?

- The most memorable musical I’ve ever been in was probably Parade, which I did with Bullet Theatre Collaborative in Rahway, NJ. It was the most memorable because it was the first time I did a show with all adults so it had a professionalism that I’ve never experienced before. The people were all amazing inside and out and so incredibly talented. Most importantly, the creative team were phenomenal. They created a really safe environment so we can experiment and let go and indulge in the moments as our characters, which (at the time) I’ve never felt before, so it was magical!

8. How is music part of your daily life?

- Well I listen to music just for my sanity. I also sing every day for fun and to work on my muscle. Every day I always work on some sort of music whether it’s my own or someone else’s but so that I’m always learning and growing.

9. As an aspiring artist, what are you doing now to achieve your goal?

- Right now I’m currently working as a performer for Walt Disney World Entertaiment, which is my first professional job out of college! It’s a great job for actors because the company requires its actors to be disciplined, passionate, compassionate, and willing. So I believe deciding to work with this company will allow my skills to grow to where they need to be in order to pursue this career! I also research and try to learn as much as I can about my career; the history, what’s upcoming, the people, the companies, etc. Finally, every day I submit myself to at least one audition because even if you’re working, you should never stop working.

10. What is your dream job ?

- Well, my dream job for a long time was to be an actor and I’m blessed enough to be doing that. Thankfully throughout this journey, I’ve learned a lot about myself (as much as I can at 20 years old) and I’ve learned that my truest dream is to create art that provokes change and provides a voice for those who feel unheard, whether it be as an actor or on the production side of Theatre.

Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure is getting a complete series Blu-Ray set by Walt Disney Home Entertaiment trought Disney Movie Club, the Blu-Ray will have the complete run of Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure including the DCOM Tangled Before Ever After on a 6 disc set, it will arrive to Disney Movie Club Members on January 25.

No word if the Tangled: Short Cuts shorts, Theme Song Takeover and Chibi Tiny Tales will be included on the set..

Walt Disney Home Entertainment seems to try to get the complete Disney Afternoon (minus The Shnookums and Meat Funny Cartoon Show for some weird reason) as a listing has appeared that TaleSpin and the OG DuckTales might recieve a complete series Blu-Ray release along with DuckTales The Movie Treasure Of The Lost Lamp, this on the Disney Movie Club order.

With Chip “N” Dale Rescue Rangers getting a Blu-Ray for January 25th, it won’t be surprising the same treatment for the rest of the block

Chip “N” Dale Rescue Rangers The Complete Series On Blu-Ray Coming Next Year To Promote The Upcoming Disney+ Live Action/2D Hybrid Chip “N” Dale Rescue Rangers Movie

Sometimes, some crimes go slippin' through the cracks. But these two gumshoes are pickin' up the slack on Blu-Ray!

To promote the upcoming Chip “N” Dale Rescue Rangers Live Action/ 2D Animated Hybrid Film for Disney+, Walt Disney Home Entertaiment has announced the release of Chip “N” Dale Rescue Rangers The Complete Serie for Blu-Ray which includes all 65 episodes on a 6 disc set.

At the momment there’s no word of extras or something and the release is for February 15.

Could this open the doors for other Disney TVA shows hitting Bluray (Kim Possible, Phineas And Ferb, Recess) or just The Disney Afternoon Shows, when Seth Rogen's Darkwing Duck Reboot is around the corner, will Disney also release the complete series of classic Darkwing Duck on Blu-Ray too? 

Disney just doesn't release anything if it's not to promote something.

This will be the second Disney Television Animation Blu-Ray after Gravity Falls The Complete Series by Shout Factory.

Walt Disney Home Entertaiment has set a release date for The Proud Family The Complete Series on both DVD and Blu-Ray trought Disney Movie Club on March 15th, this to celebrate the release of The Proud Family Louder and Prouder on Disney+

Disney Chairman & Disney+ Development Supervisor : Bob Iger Says More Movies Could Skip Theaters and Debut on Disney+ As Disney+ Originals

With theaters closed for the foreseeable future, and no significant releases left on the theatrical calendar until July, the film industry is faced with an unprecedented set of circumstances. Streaming is really the only way to get movies to audiences any time soon. so studios are faced with the decision of pushing back an upcoming release, or sending the film to a digital or streaming home. Disney has shifted its release schedule to send most of its movies to theaters at a later date. However, it has announced that the high-budget adaptation of Artemis Fowl will head straight to the Disney+ streaming service. If the pandemic keeps theaters closed longer than expected, more Disney films could follow Artemis Fowl's path.

However, executive chairman Bob Iger is saying that other films could be sent directly to Disney+, depending on how the release schedule shakes out.

"There are some we’ve decided to put on Disney+. We already announced one, Artemis Fowl, that would have been released in theaters," Iger told Barron's in a recent interview. "Others we’ve simply delayed. In some cases we’ve moved things onto Disney+ faster than we would have. Frozen 2 was one of them, but Onward would be the biggest example. It was in theaters when this happened. We moved to a pay-per-view period for a couple of weeks where people could buy it and own it. And then we ended up putting it on Disney+.

"In terms of movies going ahead after Artemis, there may be a few more that we end up putting directly onto Disney+, but for the most part a lot of the big tentpole Disney films, we’ll simply wait for slots. In some cases we’ve announced new ones (Walt Disney Animation Studios, Pixar Animation Studios, Marvel Studios,LucasFilm Entertaiment,Blue Sky Studios, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Píctures),already, but later on in the calendar."

While this interview doesn’t go into specifics, there are many titles on the current schedule which could potentially be moved to Disney+. While big titles like Mulan and Soul are likely to be held back for a theatrical release, titles such as Marvel “New Mutants” “The One and Only Ivan” “ The Beatles: Get Back “ etc....
