i adore the breaking bad scene where all the guys at don eladio's place drink the poisoned tequila and start dropping dead because we the audience understand that this is an act of revenge that gus has been planning for years to avenge the death of his business and romantic partner, but jesse was never told any of this so he just got brought to a baller pool party by his new scary boss, a hot girl sat on his cock, and then everyone started dying and shooting at each other while he just stood there like

It’s still kind of insane to think almost all major plot points of breaking bad happen because Walter white is psychosexually obsessed with this random guy he has groomed and buried his claws into and can’t let go of to the detriment of himself his family and his own stated goals….Like the axis on which the breaking bad plot spins is that walter white wants jesse pinkman to be his battered boy wife so bad that people will die

Holy shit i just realized i never shared my crack ship idea bc i ended up getting depressed that day ANYWAY; CRACKSHIP IDEA: HARRY/WALT (green phone)
REASONING: Walt specifically has a history with Harry (whether this means Harry was the phoney in the stripclub eludes me and isnt the point) since when you ask him about his coworkers he mentions they go way back, even calls him by his first name and calls him reliable meaning they most likely ARE friends. To this add the fact that it was Harry's proposal to send him to the factory (unlike Jake and Roger who both dread the thought) and the fact that Walt comes back from it Miserable. He clearly wasn't trained either (Jack has to tell him his new name) so someone needs to teach him the ropes around here.
On top of this, and now we're stepping into a bit of more personal interpretations perhaps, but as far as i'm aware from all the lines i re-read I dont think there's any evidence that Harry saw any fresh out of the factory phone guys (closest was Joe but that was previous to his memory being gone, and Harry was REALLY sad about it too). He did work on the factory for a while but it seemed he was more on the management side (also he was only 3 months there). I also really think Walt's procedure got botched, most likely because the breach in time between the creations of any phones, i mean, shouldnt he be a gen 3? Why the hell does he suffer from amnesia? He was also as previously stated not even trained. It's like they haphazardly put him back together (does a machine do the entire process, not just the head replacement? has the machine gotten any mantainence in all these years? etc)
So, to paint a full picture: You have an utterly miserable fresh off the factory phone guy with amnesia, the last one to be ever made (hopefully, probably) and you got his friend and the person who proposed this fate for him (not the culprit, that's Jack [YOU CHOSE THIS] F. Kennedy), one of the oldest phones ever made. And as i'm done writing this i realize the ship factor is honestly pretty secondary i think there's a lot to explore here even in a platonic way too. Something about being faced with the consequences of your actions and being forced to question what you thought was right and wrong while also not getting time to stop because not only does the company need him but also this guy who no one else is gonna help needs him.
Are you listening to me. I'm grabbing you and shaking you by the shoulders do you understand what i'm saying?

The biggest lie they tell you when you’re growing up is that in order to be an “adult” you have to abandon every single childlike habit you have and that’s such bullshit
If having your favorite stuffie in your lap and wearing pajamas while you put together a book shelf helps you get it done, that doesn’t make the fact that you built a big ass shelf any less adult. The shelf isn’t not a shelf. It just means you made the task enjoyable and didn’t force yourself to be uncomfortable for no good reason.

I’ve realized I’m so straight coded…
Like, I like baseball, cars, guns, and watchmen comics
But at the same time my favorite team is the Mariners, I drive a 2008 fusion, I don’t have an excuse for the guns I like violence, and it’s specifically the 2019 version which is about racial violence and undertones of queer love

its the fact that walt clearly loved jesse more than flynn, but that walt would never, ever stand by and let flynn's partner aspirate their own vomit and die. that walt runs over and shoots two guys to save jesse, but he would never sell flynn into slavery. walt would go ballistic if anyone ever put their hands on flynn, but he's unmoved when jesse gets beaten and even hits him himself. "im doing this for my family" ok but does walt really love his family?? what does his real love look like?? is his real love beating down the guy who was taunting flynn in the store during the pilot?? or was that posturing, empowerment, newly rejuvenated to be The Provider?? is his real love poisoning a kid that jesse adored?? is his real love begging the neo-nazis to not shoot hank in the head?? what does his love truly look like?? and why did flynn never get it??

Once again thinking about suicidal Percy breaking up with Annabeth while he tries to recover his mental and physical health by hiding within the safety of the Nome, and developing a massive crush on Carter in the process.
Zia subtly trying to remind Percy of his place by emphasizing that Carter is straight whenever she can. After a while of these, Percy gets the clue and holds her shoulders, like, "Zia, I'm not gonna try and steal your straight boyfriend from you. That's gross people behaviour. But I do think that we should talk about how hot he is together, and that should be the basis of our entire relationship."
He lets go and holds his hand out. She takes a moment, then shrugs and shakes in agreement. Carter now has to suffer through Percy teaching Zia how to catcall him when he walks by in his exercise shorts after teaching some of the kids, and Zia teaching Percy how to flirt with subtle and gentle words that make Carter squirm, his face burning.
After a few weeks of this, he watches them hunched over in a corner whispering. He doesn't trust it at all. And he's right not to, when a few hours later Zia starts dropping sexual innuendos with her smooth beautiful voice, stroking Carter's arm. Percy is giving her a thumbs up. She's grinning, cocky, and it reminds Carter just a tad too much of Percy and his near-manic victorious grin when he manages to catch Sadie in her own prank.
Zia pulls Carter off the couch and towards the bedrooms. As they pass through the doorway, where Percy is leaning against the wall, Carter hears a laughing, "Have fun!"
Ah. That's what they were talking about.
