Aaron falling asleep at his desk studying and Andrew putting a blanket over the back of his chair. He assumes it was Nicky and it never gets brought up until he walks through the house in Columbia and realizes Nicky went to pull an extra shift at Eden’s only to find Andrew in the living room with the comforter from his room bundled up and passed out in the couch with a documentary playing

They never talk about it but it becomes a thing whenever they find the other napping or asleep and stops once they move to the dorms, but in the later years at palmetto if they make sure the other has a jacket as a blanket on the bus after games or brings a spare blanket in the colder months then the rest of the foxes don’t comment (Nicky may or may not tear up)

percabeth hang with the kanes rather frequently and can’t help but fall into the parental role toward them. percy already had the idea of his and annabeth’s kids looking and acting like the kane siblings but when he sees annabeth admonishing them for doing something stupid and them going “yes mom” all sarcastically, it really drives the point home.

the way all the different mythologies overlap in riordanverse books just makes me think about how fucking annoyed you would be if you had like literally just finished saving the world from set or whoever and suddenly the graeco-romans lose their storyline and the world falls anyway to gaea

I JUST REALISED PEOPLE WHO WHERE AGE APPROPRIATE FOR THE PERCY JACKSON SERIES WHEN IT CAME OUT ARE LIKE APPROACHING THEIR THIRTIES RN

This actually made me feel better because I was thinking that I'm too old to read the series for the first time ( I'll be 18 in less than 2 months) but yeah, I actually got to know people reading it and they're in their late twenties!
