Today is ship positivity day and I am going to highlight a couple over the course of the day. But before I do, I want to take a moment to say that I don’t have a single ship that I don’t love. Across all my blogs. I love what we put into them, I love writing them. I love the fluff and the smut and the angst. I love writing and I love writing them with you. You, my ship partners, who tirelessly send memes and wait for my slow ass replies. Who diligently listen to me when I have wild ideas, and are patient with me when my muse is finnicky. I want it to be so abundantly clear that even if you aren’t one of the three or four that I choose to highlight today, our ship has a special place in my heart. Because they all do. In ways I can’t even describe. They all bring something completely different to my characters universe. In some threads my dumb boy is a father. in some, he’s a teacher. in some he’s a frat boy. Sometimes he’s brave, sometimes he’s scared. And no matter what, he is loved. 

And for loving him, I love you. More than I could ever fucking say.

Okay guys, in the history of this blog I have never done this, but in lieu of the new season and starting again after a longer break, I need to drop a few things. I just have too many threads ( not all of them are active anyway bc people disappeared ). After life whisked me away recently, everything got buried in my activity and I have no motivation to spend hours searching for it tbqh. clarke’s hands are clenched into fists, eyes fixed on the fire before here. night has fallen over eden and she knows it will be the LONGEST one yet, because while they have to wait for the sun to rise, madi is somewhere out there, captured by the prisoners. she cannot forgive herself. that child has been the apple of her eye for over five years and now she is GONE. sent back to the valley to be safe, and instead being caught by the new arrivals. although clarke is comforted by the knowledge that her friends are here now and will aid her in getting the girl back, her heart is in a tight knot. madi means the WORLD to her, much like a child of her own would, and protecting her has always been clarke’s first goal. and now she failed her. what if they hurt her...? she rises abruptly, as if she is trying to push her thoughts away by moving, and walks away from the others, standing at the edge for the valley to let her eyes roam over the wasteland that stretches out beyond the green spot’s border. why can’t it be morning yet.
