Ok…if you spiral over a tag on photo of Guinness then jump over bored it is time to swim to shore.
Things to give you a life preserve while you are floating along in a raft
1. Polaroid-Nic has always proudly displayed a Polaroid of her and Luke on her phone case. Through out the WT and just recently in her photo dump. IMO if Nic was with Jake and Luke was with twerk would she post this pics….or keep them in plain sight….no because it would be disrespectful.
2. The Claudaugh rings - The rings that were commissioned and designed by Nic that were picked up in Galway and have not come off since. Worn in a committed position. Now we do not know 100% that the rings on the hands are specifically tired to Luke. But we do 100% know from the article from chupi that they were designed with S3 in mind. So Nic wears them at the very least thinking of her time with Luke in S3. But IMO it means more. If Nic was in a relationship with JD would she be wearing the rings specifically tired to Luke….no it would be disrespectful.
There is so many more examples but the above two things I always come back to. I never spiral, Antonia and JD are side characters in a very amusing dramedy…
Too many people are paying attention (yet the fuck again) to the side pieces.
STOP.
It's creating this endless web of disappointment for people who think Nicola is messing with them or being childish or judging her for her social media activity.
If you are being personally offended by Nicola's actions or by her just living her life, you need to exit the fandom for a bit or all together. You are self-inserting. This is not cute.

Why Irish Businesses Should Always Maintain Their Websites
Since so much is pulled up online, your website may be the first interaction a customer has with you. Having a good-looking website can separate businesses in Limerick, Galway and even Dublin from rivals, allowing them to attract new customers.
We have assisted many Irish businesses and what we notice most is that keeping your website up to date helps maintain your online reputation and promotes growth in the future.
In the following sections, we will focus on why maintaining your website is important for your business.
1. First Impressions Matter
You would make sure the area near your store was tidy, fresh and not damaged. What is the point of doing it again in the cyber world?
Most of the time, a potential customer’s first contact with you happens when they visit your site. If the site takes a long time to open, links do not work, the information is old or the appearance is outdated, it gives a feeling that nobody cares. This scares off visitors and weakens your reputation.
If you regularly look after your website, it will continue to be fresh and serve its purpose, making people trust it and enjoy it.
2. Security Should Always Be Considered from the Beginning
More organizations are under cyber attacks and even small businesses are being targeted. Almost all the time, WordPress, Joomla, Magento and other content management systems make security updates to guard against new risks.
If you do not maintaining of your site:
Your customer details could be taken by fraudsters.
A search engine may blacklist your website.
Our maintenance services at Flo Web Design include regular security audits, updates for plugins and malware scans to give you a worry-free website and protect your visitors.
3. SEO depends on regular website maintenance
Google and other search engines prefer websites that get updated and maintained frequently. If a site is slow, features old information or isn’t accessible on mobile, it will be given a lower ranking by search engines.
Keeping your website updated makes it better:
How fast web pages are loading
Mobile responsiveness
Metadata and organized data
Dealing with broken links
Content freshness
As a result, your website becomes more visible to search engines, it gains higher positions and gets more traffic.
4. Improve the way users interact with the application
Website users today want sites that are easy to use and quick to respond. Anything that makes the site slow such as images that don’t load or ancient navigation, will lead them to leave.
Maintaining the website often helps keep:
All the links and pages are accessible.
Pictures and videos are displayed without any errors.
Checkout, buttons and forms work efficiently.
Updates are made to give the program a new look.
A seamless experience for users will make them more likely to stay and possibly become paying customers.
5. Making Sure Your Content is Up-to-Date
Information about companies can vary—such as their prices, services, working hours, contact details, special deals, employees and similar elements. If the changes aren’t reflected on your website, it confuses your customers and decreases trust.
If your site is updated, you demonstrate that your business is lively and interested in its customers.
Our team at Flo Web Design ensures that Irish companies update their content, update their blogs and remove any old materials from their website.
6. This involves backing up and recovering your data
Website crashes can happen for reasons such as plugin conflicts, issues with the server, hacking or making a mistake while deleting something important. If you don’t back up your files often, you could lose everything you have worked on for a long time.
With our maintenance package, your site is backed up automatically, making it easy and quick to restore it and continue your business.
7. The standards of both Compliance and Performance
All Irish businesses should follow the rules set out by GDPR. Failing to keep your contact forms and cookie policies current could result in serious fines and legal issues.
Maintenance done regularly will help your website:
Follows the necessary regulations for data protection.
The website is fast to load on every type of device.
Still works properly after OS and browser updates.
It’s more important to establish trust and eliminate risks than just fulfilling the requirements.
8. Making Your Website Resistant to Future Changes
Technology keeps advancing all the time. Plugins become old, browsers are updated and people’s needs change.
When you maintain your website regularly, it grows with your business. If you add new features, boost e-commerce or update the design, frequent upgrades help you not have to begin again.
How a Retailer in Ireland Benefited from Website Maintenance
A shop in Cork contacted us for help because their site was down for two days. Since the developers failed to update the site’s plugins or security measures for more than a year, the site was breached.
We recovered the site from our backup, removed the malware, updated the plugins and applied the best security measures. By opting for a monthly service package, they haven’t experienced any downtime and now get 35% more online inquiries due to faster performance.
Take action before a problem arises. Keeping your computer well-maintained is like having insurance.
So, What Services Are Part of Website Maintenance with Flo Web Design?
Our services include packages that are customized for businesses in Ireland.
Keeping an eye on security
Ensuring a fast website
Links on your website are checked for breaks
Backup & recovery
Updates on GDPR compliance
Updates to the content (upon request)
We’ll take care of your website’s back end, helping it run as efficiently as you run your business.
Conclusion
Just as you maintain a car regularly, you should keep your website up to date. This rule also applies to the internet. A secure, effective and successful website depends on regular upkeep.
Your website’s updates, security and page issues are all taken care of by Flo Web Design. We handle all the necessary jobs, allowing you to focus on your business.
Want to Maintain Your Site in the Best Way Possible?
We will make sure your website is kept safe, fast and performing at its peak each and every month.

Website Design Tips for Irish Startups
Introduction
I recall a time, just a few years back, when a friend launched his startup in Dublin. He underestimated the power of a robust digital presence, and, needless to say, faced the repercussions. Today, having a potent online presence is non-negotiable for startups in Ireland. Let me guide you through designing a website that resonates with our unique Irish business culture and dynamics.
Understanding the Irish Digital Landscape
In my years of web designing, I’ve observed unique online behaviour among the Irish. We’re tech-savvy, but we also hold our culture close. When designing, it’s crucial to remember:
Mobile Matters: A majority of the Irish prefer mobile browsing. Ensure your website is mobile-responsive to cater to this vast audience.
Local Search is Key: People often search for local businesses. So, integrating location-based SEO strategies will surely benefit.
Embrace Local Culture and Aesthetics
On a trip to Galway, the rich culture of the streets inspired me. It got me thinking: why not infuse this essence into web designs? For your startup:
Blend Tradition with Modernity: Use traditional Irish motifs but in a contemporary style. It bridges the generational gap, appealing to both young and old.
Stay Relevant: While local motifs attract, ensure the design aligns with your startup’s services and products.
Prioritise User Experience (UX)
A client once told me, “A site without intuitive navigation is a ship lost at sea.” I couldn’t agree more.
Simplicity is Supreme: An easy-to-navigate design retains visitors. Keep menus clear and concise.
Speed Sells: A slow-loading page is a visitor turned away. Optimize images and scripts to boost load times.
Integrate Essential Business Tools
An Irish cafe owner approached me to design his website. Post-launch, he saw a 50% increase in bookings, all thanks to an integrated booking system.
Service Tools: For service-oriented startups, tools like booking systems or appointment schedulers are invaluable.
E-commerce Essentials: If selling products, ensure a seamless e-commerce platform integration.
Optimise for Local SEO
A bakery in Cork saw a three-fold increase in footfall just by local SEO optimisation on their website.
Location-based Keywords: Target local cities or counties. Words like “artisan bakery Cork” can be a game-changer.
Engage with Reviews: Encourage happy customers to leave reviews. It boosts your local SEO and credibility.
Ensure Clear Communication Channels
I remember searching for a service and finding a website, but no contact info. Frustrating, right?
Be Accessible: Always have your contact info in an easy-to-find spot, preferably the header or footer.
Instant Replies: Tools like chatbots or live chats can address immediate customer queries, enhancing user experience.
Invest in High-Quality Visual Content
Visual storytelling speaks volumes. During a project for a Dublin-based fashion startup, we invested in high-quality photoshoots. The website’s bounce rate decreased significantly.
Engage with Visuals: Use compelling images and videos. They capture attention and can convey your brand story effectively.
Localize Your Content: Images from local settings or familiar landmarks can create an instant connection with your Irish audience.
Prioritise Mobile Design
One summer, while I was in Limerick, I noticed everyone engrossed in their smartphones. That’s the Irish digital scene for you!
Mobile-first Approach: Design your website first for mobile and then scale up. It ensures a seamless experience across devices.
Test on Multiple Devices: Before launch, test the site across different devices to ensure consistency.
Plan for Scalability
Your startup will grow. Your website should be ready for it. I’ve had clients return, wishing they’d thought ahead.
Stay Modular: Adopt a design that allows easy updates and additions. It’ll save time and money in the long run.
Regular Updates: Keep adding new content and features. It keeps the site fresh and aligns with your growing business.
Collaborate with Local Talent
I’ve had the privilege to work with numerous Irish startups. The advantage? A deep understanding of local nuances.
Leverage Local Insights: Working with local designers ensures your website resonates with your target demographic.
Tailored Design Decisions: Local designers can provide insights and make design decisions specific to the Irish market.
Website Design Tips Conclusion
As your digital storefront, your website plays a pivotal role. I’ve seen startups flourish with the right web design and falter without it. If you’re venturing into the Irish startup scene, prioritize your website. It’s not just about online presence; it’s about making a mark.
Call to Action
Looking to make a lasting impression with your Irish startup’s website? Reach out to the leading Web Design Agency in Dublin today, and let’s bring your vision to life. Whether it’s a consultation or a keen eye on a portfolio, let’s ensure your startup’s success in the digital realm.

Why Every Irish Business Needs a Local SEO Strategy
Tumblr media
Most of your customers will check the internet for information before deciding to visit or phone your business. If you have a business in Cork, Dublin or Limerick, your location on Google Matters: not being local makes you miss out on customers.
This is when Local SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) becomes important.
Flo Web Design assists Irish businesses to boost their presence on Google and similar search engines. We help you go above basic SEO by targeting people in your community who are currently searching for things you sell or provide.
It is important to discover why Local SEO is more important than a buzzword for companies doing business in Ireland nowadays.
An explanation of Local SEO
Local SEO helps your business appear in local search results—for example, when someone searches for:
I want to find a plumber near me.
Search for a "Web design company in Meath"
A standout coffee shop in Galway.
Working on SEO for your local area covers your website, Google Business Profile and types of content, so it gets noticed by people searching for you close by.
Other SEO methods aim to get a general flow of visitors, but local SEO helps you get customers who are ready to interact, call, ask for an estimate or come to your office.
How Important Local SEO Is for Irish Businesses
1. Irish customers are using search engines to find nearby stores
Many Irish people now search Google to see businesses near their location. Whenever someone needs a trusted tradesperson, a nearby accountant or a physiotherapist, they are searching on their phones or laptops locally.
A Local SEO strategy allows your business to:
Be included in the map listings on Google.
Show up in more Google Maps searches.
Show up first in results for queries related to places or areas.
That’s why businesses get more web visits, store visitors and sales, mostly from customers of readiness.
2. It Creates a Trusting and Credible Place
Being displayed in Google’s local results, along with your company’s reviews, opening times and photos, right away improves how users view your company.
Optimizing your Google Business Profile (GBP) clearly shows that you are real, active and trusted by customers. We help businesses at Flo Web Design create optimised profiles and also manage their reviews, so people can trust them more.
3. You will Recruit Qualified Leads
Instead of national SEO which brings visitors from far away, local SEO draws people who are close by and can use your services at that moment.
For a Navan accounting firm, showing up in local search results matters more than appearing in ones designed for people outside the area.
It guides your marketing efforts to reach the people likeliest to become customers.
4. It Allows Small Companies to Compete with Big Companies
Not having a big budget to promote your business is no problem, because there’s no need to compete with big national brands.
With local SEO, you have a good chance of doing well in the same market as bigger players, just in your area. Smart optimisation allows you to rise above the competition in local search results and get more exposure to people in your area.
5. Ensure your website looks good on any mobile device
Many local searches now happen using mobile devices, often asking for nearby suggestions. They are frequently using their phones and looking to make fast decisions.
If your website is mobile-friendly, loads quickly and has optimised local SEO, it will be there for your customer exactly when they start looking for local services.
We ensure your site will work well on any device and is simple for users to navigate, so you stay ahead in the new mobile environment.

On-Page SEO
On-Page SEO is making sure your website is search engine friendly by optimizing its content and basic settings.
Relevant local signals are added to your site’s content and headings, as well as the metas which improves your ranking in search engines.
Local Listings and Citations
We list your business in reliable Irish directories and maintain consistency in NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) on sites such as Golden Pages and Yelp.
Reviews and Reputation Management
Being aware of and handling consumer reviews and the firm’s reputation is important.
Responsive and pleased customers sharing their views online can help your position in local searches and impress more people.
Advantages You May See with Local SEO
Doing local SEO well can help you get the following results:
An increase in users coming to your site and your physical location
A bigger portion of searches end in a sale
Rising number of calls and email questions
More exposure in Google Maps and the search results for local businesses
An online presence that helps the company grow steadily over time
How an Unknown Person Changed into a Well-Known Neighbor
An electrical business, established in County Meath, had difficulty getting seen online. Following their individual local SEO approach, a new website design, Google Business Profile editing and targeting relevant local keywords, they discovered:
The number of phone enquiries increased by 65% during the first 6 months.
Many top 3 results for searches involving “electrician Meath”
A rise of 40% in traffic coming from mobile devices
That shows how local SEO works most effectively where your audience searches regularly.
In Conclusion: It Is No Longer Possible to Ignore Local SEO
If you manage a small store, are expanding a service business or work in a professional practice, Local SEO needs to be a major focus in your digital marketing plan.
It is not expensive, easy to measure and gives you tangible results which benefits your company right here in Ireland.

Even if you offer the best brand, service, or products in the world but if your site is not at all catchy, then viewers may leave it in seconds.
