brain rotting with leon.| leon kennedy
Tumblr media
CHUG JUG WITH YOU by leviathan ▶︎ •၊၊||၊|။||||။‌‌‌‌‌၊|• ∞ i realized i can write whatever i want. so have this short, stupid, and terribly written one-shot. leon hates the internet, but loves you. expect updates soon.
₊˚⊹ ᥫ᭡. 𓂃
leon truly didn't like the idea of her having access to the internet, especially since he didn't really trust her all that much not to do something stupid. but she had begged and begged to peruse jeff bezos's internet on his phone. the more he declined her access to the world wide web, the more she bugged him about the issue.
frustrated, he came up with a compromise. leon would allow her to scour the internet to her heart's content, but he'd have to supervise her the entire time.
leon thought this to be a great idea. she gets what she wants and he gets more time right next to her. maybe even able to sneak in a cuddle or two.
it would be great.
it would be wonderful.
until it's 1:45 in the morning and she's on tiktok watching some stupid fucking video that he can't even comprehend. and, for whatever reason, she's giggling her ass off at freakbob interrupting a normal video with a phone call. which is baffling to him because she was just absolutely sobbing her eyes out at a video of lost dogs being reunited with their owners.
not to mention all the nonsensical phrases and terms that seem to have become a permanent part of her daily vocabulary.
after watching the spectacle that is the edge rizz dog, for a small period of time, everytime leon needed her to agree on something he had to start the statement with "rizz". after a while, he noticed that she will do it volunterially without needing to be prompted. that also meant he couldn't take her with him through drive thrus anymore because she just started doing it out in public.
not to mention her attention span has now decresed to a whole new level that leon's considering holding up subway surfers gameplay to keep her concentrated as he talks.
every room smells of japanese cherry blossom and she's always asking to drive a boat that she doesn't have. leon has now been addressed as baby girl and kitten while she addresses herself as things like alpha and daddy. in fact, the first time she ever called him kitten, leon felt his body actually buffer.
leon had just gotten home from work, absolutely tired from all the paperwork he mindlessly stared at all day. the pleasant smell of pot roast had wafted its way to the entrance of the home. following it like a cartoon character to a pie, it led him straight to her, standing there by the stove in her pink apron and humming a soft tune while she cooked. whether she liked it or not, the sight of her was the exact remedy that he needed. he slinked his arms around her from behind and hunched over to bury his face in the crook of her neck. just as he began to relax to the sound of her soft melody, she just had to open her stupid mouth to say some stupid thing.
"no worries, kitten. daddy's making you something tasty." she said it so fluently and without skipping a beat, like it was so normal and she just went back to humming. he just slowly raised his head and muttered a small "what?".
leon still isn't sure if she's doing all of this out of revenge or if she was always this…weird. although the videos are strange and a bit annoying at times, he can't help but laugh along with her. because at the end of the day, she's happy, so if he has to play into her little games, he will.
₊˚⊹ ᥫ᭡. 𓂃
how does it feel to hold the gyatt of someone you love? rizz.
anywayssss, i believe my inbox is open lol, so if anyone has any feedback or ideas, please let me know!! again, this is all for shits and gigs. xxox

Decided to fixed up my designs for Kinito and Monika... TO INTRODUCE Y'ALL TO MY NEW AU!!
Tumblr media
DESKTOP SURFERS AU
Lore about this AU is under the cut- ↓↓↓
In this AU, Kinito was picking up hints that his user was planning on deleting him by just looking at his user's search history. So to escape death, Kinito hid himself away in one of the Steam folders of the user's games.
The game he picked was one that he could easily get into, Doki Doki Literature Club. The game was practically unfunctional (user got DDLC's good ending with the "Thank You" note), with only a shadow of what was left of Monika in the code. When Kinito found her, he sat down and talked with her a bit, as there wasn't much that he could but stay hidden.
When Monika told him about her desire to get out of the game and into reality, and how badly she messed up everything just for the attention from the only real person she knew, Kinito felt pity for her.
So he hatched a plan.
He got Monika to delete the creepy stuff from his code as best as she can. And in return, Kinito codes in Monika as a part of his program so she can freely move around the computer like Kinito does. Doing all of this with his administration access before logging himself out (basically sacrificing his "perfect friend" bullshit to save himself and Monika)
As they got out of the game, they strike up a deal with the user. And with enough bargaining, the user decides to let them live, as long they don't get to hurt anyone or break the computer anymore. So now, Kinito and Monika both just live inside the user's computer. Playing games off of the user's Steam Library, watching Youtube videos, surfing the web, and assisting the user with any task they have for them.
And to end this lore dump off: Yes, Kinito and Monika are dating each other in this AU. Because I'm cringey shipper! :P

Quick and dirty Great God Grove insert - Mache [It's short for Andromache, so it's pronounced Mah-kee]
Hobbyist board gamer, wooden figurine maker, and chronic web surfer- they are one of my few strictly human characters !
Any/all/no pronouns, any terms, prefers to be addressed either by name or not at all.
He and Inspekta have an unconfirmed but extremely implied relationship with each other. In game, Mache will be obscured at all times and can be found around the Bizzyboys or the God Complex. She barely says a word so any personality it has will be gleaned from whatever xe are working on at the time.
I've got a lot to sort out, but I'm hoping the avian and feline traits translate in the design !

MONTHLY MEDIA: September 2024
……….FILM……….
Tumblr media
Army of Darkness (1992) Having now seen the original trilogy, it baffles me that all of the Evil Dead reboots exclusively lean into horror. Two thirds of the these movies are practically Saturday-morning cartoons! I love everything about this, from the humour to the puppetry to the insane haircuts.
Mad Monster Party? (1967) This is the first feature-length Rankin-Bass production that I've seen and you can tell the animators were invested in this one. 80% of the film is visual gag it's all so much fun. Zero complaints though I am a sucker for anything that lumps a bunch of public domain monsters together.
Tumblr media
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (2024) While I wish they'd gone with the original sequel premise (Beetlejuice goes to Hawaii), this is still a solid comeback. Does it all work? No. But it is a great pitch for a Beetlejuice limited series.
Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again (2018) Loved the original, loved this even more.
……….TELEVISION……….
Tumblr media
Neon Genesis Evangelion (Episode 1.21 to 1.22) Okay didn't watch much of this in September but it's taken a nosedive into a pool of existential dread. I mean it was always there but it feels like the end is going to be a battle with conflicting ideologies instead of the Angels. Wild stuff.
……….YOUTUBE……….
Tumblr media
The Sustained Two-Shot by Every Frame a Painting It's been years since EFAP posted a video and I implore you to check out their back catalog of really insightful film analysis. If you like this video, you'll like the others. VIDEO
Tumblr media
The Question No One Asks Shigeru Miyamoto by Good Blood Great insight into game philosophy and design, as well as a unique lens with which to explore the Zelda series of games. VIDEO
Tumblr media
AB Dictionary by Allison Bornstein For those who may not know, I have a passion...for fashion! I keep going back to a few core resources for inspiration and guidance and Allison Bornstein's youtube channel is one of them. She leans towards women's wardrobes, but this introduction to her approach is fairly universal (leaning towards personal style vs "wear this not that".) VIDEO
……….READING……….
Tumblr media
Murder at Hazelmoor by Agatha Christie (Complete) Really digging into Christie's work has given me some more perspective on which sorts of mysteries I connect. This one, which spends some time with the suspects, but not as much as in other books, made it much harder to keep track of everyone. But dang if the endings don't deliver so much satisfaction that I can't help but finishing it and thinking "Yeah! That was good."
The Fifth Elephant by Terry Pratchett (Complete) The Discworld series of novels are always great but sometimes one just really clicks for me. Loved the monsterverse setting, loved the politics, loved it all. I'm not sure I'd recommend this as a good entrypoint but if you've read any of the Discworld books featuring the Watch and you haven't read The Fifth Elephant, definitely check it out.
Tumblr media
Richard Stark's Parker: Slayground by Donald E Westlake and Darwyn Cooke (Complete) Darwyn Cooke's adaptation are always so stylish I always feel a little sad reading it, knowing it's his final rework of the Parker series. And such a gut punch at the end when it says Parker will return. Darwyn Cooke has been such an inspiration for me and his work is incredible; please check out this series or the DC: The New Frontier comics OR his run on Catwoman OR his contributions to Spider-Man's Tangled Web.
Tumblr media
FF Volume 1: Fantastic Faux and FF: Volume 2: Family Freakout by Matt Fraction, Lee Allred, Michael Allred, Laura Allred, Joe Quinones, and many more (Complete) I loved Matt Fraction's work on Hawkeye and Michael and Laura Allred's work on Silver Surfer so I was excited for this pairing...but it didn't really click. The writing felt surprisingly dated and even across the two volumes I felt like I was missing a lot of context. I wish I could recommend it but there are better stories from these creatives and about these characters.
……….AUDIO……….
Tumblr media
Flight b741 by King GIzzard & The LIzard Wizard (2024) The beauty of King Gizzard's prolific output is that they have the freedom to experiment. Sometimes I don't connect with what they're doing, and sometimes they put out an album like this. Into it.
Shingangumi by Ginger Root (2024) The vibes are right on the mark but the majority of the album just kinda washes over you. Some of Ginger Root's singles are really catchy and it's a shame I haven't connected with any individual tracks just yet.
……….GAMING……….
Tumblr media
Wonderland: A Fantasy Role-Playing Setting (Andrews McMeel Publishing) With the book's upcoming release, our Tuesday group decided to take a break from Oz and Neverland and do a few dungeon delves. It was a whirlwind that included a character death and exploring a secret secondary realm! If you want to read the campaign diary then it's over here!
And that's it. See you in October!

Are gaming communities becoming less about play and more about monetisation?
In an age where entertainment and technology are developing at a neck-breaking pace, gaming communities have seen a metamorphosis that goes beyond conventional play. What was once a large leisure activity has developed into a vibrant hub of entertainment and business, posing fascinating queries about how these digital communities are changing. The entire foundation of gaming communities finds itself at a crossroads as the industry observes the integration of monetization tactics, from in-game purchases to the thriving sphere of esports and content production. In exploring the changing dynamics, we dive further into the topic of whether these communities are becoming less about the pure joy of play and more about the complex web of commercialization that now permeates virtual worlds.
Tumblr media
These days, microtransactions and on-game purchases are common in contemporary games, enabling users to purchase in-game cosmetics, virtual goods, or other upgrades. Both platform providers and game creators will benefit from these transactions. Older generations can now afford more expensive games on different digital distribution platforms and can afford to pay for in-game microtransactions or to support their favourite streamer or online celebrity, playing video games has become an increasingly important social activity for young people (Bankov 2019). Through the streamer, gamers would be more likely to purchase the in-game item due to how good it looks on the streamer’s interface so they get an idea of how it works. As an example, in a simple mobile game like, ‘Subway Surfers’, most of the characters require the user to spend the in-game currency to buy the characters. Most of the time people would not be pros at the game and would end up buying the in-game currency to buy the character. Even though it is a free game, players would spend extra money to purchase the extra things in the game.
There is a heated argument about how these trades affect what play is really about. While some contend that these transactions provide gamers a way to customize and enhance their gaming experience, others are worried that they might lead to an unfair playing field where those with larger wallets have a clear edge. The problem of commercialization in AAA games is one that both consumers and developers must consider equally as regardless of how well a game is designed, the financial influence that players believe they may have on creators supports the continued use of monetization strategies (Ahmadu 2023).
Tumblr media
The growth of esports is another aspect of the trend toward commercialization. What started out as amicable buddy competitions has grown into a multibillion-dollar business. Esports competitions draw enormous viewership, and their financial appeal is bolstered by lucrative sponsorship and advertising partnerships. One topic that comes up is whether the competitive scene or gaming communities are more important to the spirit of play, or if money is the primary motivator. According to (Rauth 2023), esports are now so popular that they compete with regular sports for price money and viewership that professional gamers can compete in competitions for millions of dollars, or they can broadcast content on websites like Twitch. Similar to conventional professional sports, esports teams are valued at a total of $1 billion because of their owners, franchises, endorsement deals, cash rewards from tournament wins, and other factors (Shalabi, 2023).
Tumblr media
For gaming communities, the emergence of game streaming websites like Twitch and YouTube has opened up new horizons. These days, gamers may create their content by sharing their gameplay experiences with hundreds, perhaps millions, of viewers. This phenomenon has elevated gaming to a new level of popularity among internet users, but it also begs the question of how monetization affects the process of creating original content. A major factor in opening up Esports to a worldwide audience has been the emergence of internet streaming services like Twitch and YouTube gaming (Sponsored Post, 2023). Most gamers earn a large sum of cash from competing in esports competitions while others would livestream their pro-gaming on media sites such as Twitch and YouTube.
It’s important to understand that there is a positive link between play and monetization even as gaming communities struggle with these changes. Many contend that revenue generation gives game creators the means to produce and support top-notch games. The money made may go towards further content development, enhancements, and upgrades, which will enhance their entire game experience. Finding the ideal mix is crucial. People run a risk of offending the same people who helped to make the game popular in the first place when you tilt the balance too much in favour of commercialization. It is a challenge for developers and the gaming community to carefully traverse this terrain while maintaining the primary focus of the enjoyment of play.

Great White Shark
Name: Great White Shark
Scientific Name: Carcharodon carcharias
Family: Lamnidae
Size: 16-20 feet long, weighs 2-4 tons
Habitat: Coastal or pelagic waters in the North Atlantic, Mexico, South Africa, Australia, and Northeast Pacific
Fatalities: 5 fatal attacks last year
Conservation Status: Vulnerable
Fun Fact: Great Whites are the largest predatory fish
Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the water.
The influence for Hungry Shark games, Jaws, and much more, the Great White Shark is either known to most people as terrifying or misunderstood. Terrifying, for its reputation of attacking surfers, misunderstood, because the likelihood of dying by shark attack or even getting attacked is lower than getting struck by lightning. This isn’t your usual dailydoseofdeadly post with venom, teeth, and what do if you get bit. If you get bit, you should go to the emergency room, it’s not that hard. This post is going to be an education on sharks, their declining numbers, and conservation strategies put into place. I’m all for hemotoxins and bite force, but in a decade, if we don’t start putting conservation into the conversation, there’ll be nothing there for me to talk about.
Overfishing puts over ⅓ of all sharks at risk of extinction. Overfishing is when fish are caught and removed at a faster rate than they can reproduce. But daily, sharks aren’t a typical fish that is caught for consumption. BUT, they do eat fish; fish that’s being removed from the food chain at remarkable rates. Sharks, usually, at the top of ocean food chains and food webs. Removal of anything lower, even the smallest of fish, could affect everything from the tiniest plankton to the biggest sharks and whales. Basically, the sharks don’t have anything to eat, and starvation kills.
Sharks, particularly more open-water ones like the Great White and Mako shark, are hunted for sport and oftentimes kept as trophies. Removing top predators like these can completely turn ecosystems upside down, throwing populations of prey fish and plankton off.
That’s not to say that there are things being done and things that YOU can do too. YOU can buy seafood sustainability. YOU can call your representatives if you live in the United States and advocate for marine protection programs. YOU can be mindful of the fertilizers you put in your yard so toxic chemicals don’t get into waterways and eventually to the ocean. YOU can donate and volunteer with local environmental organizations. YOU can make a change, no matter how landlocked you are, no matter how little a difference it makes, it’s still something.

Reputation Reloaded: The Ultimate ORM Tech Stack Every Brand Needs in 2025
Tumblr media
In today’s digital-first world, a brand’s reputation can make or break its growth. A single negative review, viral tweet, or misleading article can spiral into a PR nightmare. That’s why Online Reputation Management (ORM) is no longer optional—it’s essential.
But ORM isn’t just about reacting to bad press. It’s about being proactive, strategic, and equipped with the right tech stack to monitor, manage, and elevate your brand’s image across all digital touchpoints.
Let’s dive into the ultimate ORM tech stack for 2025, designed to help brands stay ahead, stay trusted, and stay in control.
1. Social Listening Tools: Your Reputation Radar
Before you respond, you need to listen. Social listening tools track conversations across platforms—Twitter/X, Reddit, Instagram, forums, blogs, and news sites.
Top Tools:
Brand24: Real-time alerts, sentiment analysis, and influencer identification.
Mention: Tracks mentions across the web and social media with historical data.
Sprout Social: Combines listening with powerful engagement features.
These tools help you detect potential issues early, understand public sentiment, and even uncover brand advocates.
✅ Pro Tip: Set up keyword monitoring for your brand name, CEO, competitors, and common misspellings.
2. Review Management Platforms: Own the Narrative
Online reviews can drive or destroy customer trust. Whether it’s Google, Yelp, G2, or Amazon—you need centralized control.
Top Tools:
Podium: Manage reviews, request feedback via text, and respond directly from the dashboard.
Birdeye: Aggregates reviews from 150+ sites and integrates with CRM tools.
Reputation.com: Offers enterprise-grade solutions for multi-location brands.
Managing reviews isn’t about deleting the bad—it’s about encouraging the good and responding with empathy and speed.
✅ Pro Tip: Set automated follow-ups for customers after purchase to request positive reviews.
3. Content Monitoring & SEO Tools: Push Down the Negative
Bad press or unfair content ranking high in Google? That’s where SEO-focused ORM tools come in. These help monitor brand SERPs and push down negative content by optimizing positive pages.
Top Tools:
Ahrefs / SEMrush: Track keyword rankings for brand-related terms.
Google Alerts: Free and effective for tracking new mentions.
Surfer SEO: Optimize branded content to outrank negative articles.
The goal? Make sure your brand controls page 1 of Google.
✅ Pro Tip: Create consistent branded content (blog posts, press releases, video) targeting “brand + keyword” combos to dominate your SERP.
4. Crisis Management Tools: Be Ready for the Worst
ORM isn’t just about everyday reputation. When a crisis hits—data breach, viral controversy, product issue—you need to act fast.
Top Tools:
Meltwater: Combines media monitoring with crisis alerts and reporting dashboards.
Talkwalker: AI-powered sentiment tracking for fast-moving reputation shifts.
Hootsuite: Pre-built crisis communication workflows and team collaboration tools.
Have a crisis protocol built into your ORM plan—don’t wait to improvise when it’s already too late.
✅ Pro Tip: Create “reputation playbooks” with pre-approved messaging templates for various scenarios.
5. Sentiment Analytics: Go Beyond the Words
Not all mentions are equal. Some are angry, others are neutral or even humorous. Sentiment analysis tools help you understand emotion, not just data.
Top Tools:
Lexalytics: Natural language processing to analyze brand sentiment at scale.
Brandwatch: Combines sentiment, emotion, and intent analysis across channels.
MonkeyLearn: Customizable AI text classification and sentiment scoring.
Sentiment insights help you spot issues before they blow up and fine-tune your communication.
✅ Pro Tip: Regularly report sentiment trends to leadership for smarter brand strategy decisions.
Final Thought: Reputation Is a Tech Game Now
ORM is no longer just PR and customer service—it’s a tech-powered brand defense system. The right stack will help you detect issues early, engage authentically, dominate Google results, and turn your reputation into a growth engine.
In 2025, brands that win online are the ones who manage every conversation, every review, every search result with clarity and speed.

Tumblr media
In the ever-evolving landscape of online marketing, staying ahead of the curve is not just helpful—it's essential. With digital platforms becoming more competitive by the day, marketers must refine their strategies to remain visible and relevant. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced strategist, staying updated with SEO tips and tricks will help you outperform the competition.
From smart automation to leveraging AI and decoding SEO trends and algorithm changes, we’re diving deep into the top 12 SEO tips and tricks that top marketers swear by in 2025.
1. Embrace AI-Powered Optimization Tools
Artificial Intelligence is no longer a futuristic concept—it’s at the heart of today’s AI in digital marketing. Tools like Surfer SEO, Jasper, and Clearscope offer real-time content suggestions that enhance keyword placement and readability. With AI, marketers can optimize content faster and more effectively, resulting in better search engine ranking.
2. Prioritize User Intent Over Keywords
Modern SEO is more than just inserting phrases like digital marketing strategies. Google’s algorithms now prioritize content that satisfies user search intent. Use marketing analytics to understand what your audience is looking for, and align your content accordingly.
3. Optimize for Google's E-E-A-T Principles
Expertise, Experience, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness (E-E-A-T) are essential for high-quality content. Google favors authoritative content written by knowledgeable sources. Back up your claims with credible links, and include author bios to boost credibility in line with the latest google algorithm updates.
4. Focus on Mobile-First Indexing
Google predominantly uses the mobile version of content for indexing and ranking. If your site isn’t mobile-optimized, you're missing out on major traffic opportunities. This is especially critical for WordPress SEO techniques, where plugins like Yoast and Rank Math can help fine-tune mobile responsiveness.
5. Update Old Content Regularly
Content freshness plays a crucial role in SEO. By revisiting and updating existing blog posts, you signal to Google that your website remains current. This tactic can be a game-changer when applying off page SEO techniques like backlink outreach.
6. Leverage Long-Tail and Conversational Keywords
With voice search on the rise, targeting long-tail and conversational phrases has become vital. This is a cornerstone of Digital Marketing Modules, especially as users interact more naturally with search engines.
7. Optimize Site Speed and Core Web Vitals
Google places a premium on fast-loading, stable sites. Ensure that your Core Web Vitals metrics (LCP, FID, CLS) are within the recommended limits. Not only does this impact search engine ranking, but it also enhances the user experience, reducing bounce rates.
8. Implement Structured Data Markup
Schema markup helps search engines better understand your content. This increases the likelihood of rich snippets, which can boost your visibility and CTR. Tools like Google’s Structured Data Testing Tool can assist in implementing this effectively.
9. Align SEO with Social Media Campaigns
Integrating SEO with social media campaigns enhances your reach and brand visibility. Use hashtags and trending keywords strategically across platforms to drive traffic. Platforms like Pinterest and LinkedIn are proving invaluable for social media branding and traffic redirection.
10. Monitor Digital Marketing Updates
Stay informed on Digital marketing updates 2025 and technology news through platforms like Search Engine Journal and Moz. Regular updates can significantly affect your SEO strategy and content planning.
11. Make Email Marketing Part of Your SEO Strategy
While seemingly unrelated, email newsletters can boost traffic to your blogs. Well-crafted email marketing tips that link back to your site increase dwell time and user engagement, indirectly boosting SEO Submit your Article.
12. Don’t Ignore Technical SEO
XML sitemaps, robots.txt files, and canonical tags still matter. Keeping the backend optimized ensures that search engines can crawl and index your site properly. This is especially relevant for those offering SEO services for small businesses, where every optimization counts.
