kinda annoying how people complain about the ending of towl just because their expectations or theories didn’t pan out how they wanted it to. and a majority of the ppl disappointed really were hoping michonne dies / sacrifices herself for rick’s survival or both of them die which makes zero sense anyway and would’ve made everything pointless. also because gimple made one comment saying he wants all the spin-offs to come together in some way people really latched onto that for dear life and thought that towl would be some starting point for that to happen even though it was wrapped for filming by then and was literally premiering. mind you it was always marketed as just being 6 episodes so i don’t know why people thought it would somehow lead to a grand fight with all the other characters. especially since daryl would’ve still been in france timeline wise so it’s not like that reunion would’ve happened either which is another big complaint i saw a lot.
and lets say rick and michonne didn’t blow up the frontliners or kill beale: portland would’ve fallen, kids kidnapped, millions dead and then what? they’re just supposed to let that happen? say it’s not their problem and try to go home anyways and pray the CRM doesn’t find their community? have rick go back to the civic republic and be stuck for even longer while michonne was supposed to go home and gather up whoever is left and march back to philadelphia with just guns and arrows i guess??? along with the commonwealth storm trooper wannabes? try and wage some kind of attack which would’ve been futile since the frontliners would’ve wiped them out even quicker than what happened in the finale resulting in no reunions for anybody and more dead characters?
they planned a six episode story and obviously weren’t going to leave it on some kind of cliff hanger or have some mysterious after credit set up scene because they weren’t thinking of a season two at the time of writing, it ended with a family reunion like it was always going to. but even if there is something else in the future there could still be more story to tell and the civic republic can still be involved. people act like they killed off the whole military in one quick go when it was just the guys in the red uniforms who take out entire cities that died (i think around 2000+ soldiers). its still a big military operation it can span different locations, they talked about there being CRM agents in different communities that could be explored more. having different generals or sergeants with different ideologies can still be a thing. there’s also that estimate about there only being 14? years left of life on earth and the threat of millions of walkers at once so idk seems like there’s multiple storyline possibilities if they choose to continue

a 'goodbye' kiss (but rick leaving this time!) from eris
Tumblr media
A fucked up kissing meme from here @elpida
“Grimes, you coming?” James voice called at him before they boarded the helicopter, but Rick’s eyes were still lingering on the back of the warehouse where Eris had just nodded at him to give him the needed strength to go through with this. No regrets. That was what echoed in his mind and what he had last said to her when she tried to find her way back home. Leave and don’t look back was what he had told her and what she repeated to him this time when he told her about this opportunity. The truth was that he would always look back and did it even in this moment.
He loved the way they supported each others goals. That they respected each others calling of their hearts that needed them to reunite with what they had to leave. But maybe Rick wasn’t as strong as she believed he was. Maybe he was in fact much weaker than Eris would ever become cause it was impossible for him to let go of her and not say goodbye.
“Just gonna grab that last bag real quick. We head out in two minutes.” was what he called back before he ran back into Eris direction, her eyes already full of shock as if she wanted to tell him that he shouldn’t do that but Rick simply couldn’t listen. No, he had to tell her. Had to feel her. And had to take her scent with him when he would leave and maybe never come back. Didn’t he owe that to her? A true goodbye? Even if she said she hated it? He threw a short look around before grabbing her arm roughly and pulled her behind the big truck that was parking in the depot. The serious glare didn’t leave his face or hers, but in the moment he had pinned her against the truck lips closed against hers, holding onto her face while his other palm slipped something into hers before closing it to a fist.
“This belongs to you.” Just like my heart. Like my name. Like me as a person. All of it was hidden in that little dog tag with his name on it he had given her, the second one on your necklace always supposed to be back with the family in case you would fall. Eris was his family here and no matter if he would return to his former home or not, that fact would never change. She was the wife in his head who was supposed to get this in case anything would happen and if anyone should know about his passing, it would have been her.
Tumblr media
“You’ll give it back to me when I get you. Until then I’ll leave my life in your hands.” he whispered with a now bittersweet smile on his face, his thumb stroking along her cheek as he made sure she would listen. “I will find you. I will get you Eris, just as I promised.” And now he couldn’t die anymore could he? Cause then there was no second dog tag to find to pass over anymore. She hold his life in her hand and he had to return for it. “I give you my word. And my name.” A soothing murmur like a promise was placed in her ear but he didn’t allow her to reply cause he wouldn’t bear any contradiction now. “Goodbye Eris.” While having his hand over her mouth so she wouldn’t speak he kissed her temple and rushed away, grabbing an empty bag on the way out just to have another excuse when he entered that damn helicopter where he wouldn’t look out again. No, he would come back. Somehow. Wouldn’t he?

Work mismanagement things. I'm currently on a project with the department of transportation where we are supposed to be digging along a road, and in a few church properties next to an intersection with said road. Yesterday we were digging on one of the church properties and the landowner asked us to leave so we left.
It feels she has been misled about what we would be doing on her land and how long it would take. We have no intention of digging on someone's land when they don't want us there so we are not going to go back until we get full confirmation that she is ok with us digging again. BUT the department of transportation doesn't want us digging along the main road without a chaperone with us either and they set that meeting up for teusday.
Today is Saturday. Because projects require us to travel, sometimes our work is on a 10-day schedule instead of a 5-day work week. So we have 10 days of work in a row, then 4 days off. When this happens it means we work through the weekend. This is one of those projects.
So the Problem is that because we can't go on the church property, and we can't start work on the main road, and there is next to nothing left for us to do. I tried contacting our management team and they are not responding because its the weekend 🙃.
We gotta work on the weekend but they don't. We have to find something to do so we can bill 8 hours for each day cause we get paid hourly. It is midmorning and we are back at the hotel already, having done all the work we have permission to do for the entire project.
I have nothing left for us to do tomorrow and the bosses probably are not going to tell us any new information about permission to go on the church property, or anything else we could possibly do, until Monday.
So I guess that we get Sunday off... the good news is we're close to the beach. Archeology.

What is CRM? A Comprehensive Guide
In today's fast-paced business world, managing customer relationships is crucial for success. This is where Customer Relationship Management (CRM) comes into play. But what exactly is CRM, and why is it so important? Let's dive in and explore this essential business tool.
Tumblr media
Understanding CRM
CRM, or Customer Relationship Management, is a strategy and set of tools that businesses use to manage and analyze customer interactions throughout the customer lifecycle. The goal is to improve business relationships, increase customer retention, and drive sales growth.
At its core, CRM is about understanding your customers better and using that knowledge to provide them with a superior experience. It's not just a piece of software; it's a holistic approach to customer relations that can transform the way your business operates.
The Components of CRM
A comprehensive CRM system typically includes several key components:
Contact Management: This is the foundation of any CRM system. It allows businesses to store and organize customer information, including contact details, communication history, and purchase records.
Lead Management System: This component helps businesses track and nurture potential customers through the sales process. It allows sales team to prioritize leads, track interactions, and move prospects through the sales funnel more effectively.
Sales Pipeline: The Sales Pipeline is a visual representation of where potential customers are in the buying process. It helps sales teams forecast future sales and identify bottlenecks in the sales process.
Sales Process: A well-defined sales process is crucial for consistent success. CRM systems often include tools to help businesses define, implement, and optimize their sales processes.
Analytics and Reporting: CRM systems provide valuable insights through data analysis and reporting. This helps businesses make informed decisions and continuously improve their customer relationships.
The Benefits of CRM
Implementing a CRM system can bring numerous benefits to a business:
Improved Customer Service: With all customer information centralized and easily accessible, businesses can provide faster, more personalized service.
Increased Sales: By providing a clear view of the sales pipeline and helping to streamline the sales process, CRM can significantly boost sales performance.
Better Customer Retention: CRM helps businesses understand their customers better, leading to improved relationships and higher retention rates.
Data-Driven Decision Making: The analytics capabilities of CRM systems enable businesses to make decisions based on hard data rather than gut feeling.
Improved Efficiency: By automating many routine tasks, CRM frees up time for employees to focus on more valuable activities.
Types of CRM Software
There are several types of CRM software available, each catering to different business needs:
Operational CRM: This type focuses on automating and improving customer-facing business processes, including sales, marketing, and customer service.
Analytical CRM: This type emphasizes analyzing customer data to gain insights and improve decision-making.
Collaborative CRM: This type aims to improve communication and collaboration between different departments within a business, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
Sales CRM: As the name suggests, this type is specifically designed to support sales teams, with features like lead management, sales forecasting, and pipeline management.
Implementing CRM in Your Business
Implementing a CRM system can seem daunting, but with the right approach, it can be a smooth process:
Define Your Goals: Before choosing a CRM system, clearly define what you want to achieve with it.
Choose the Right System: There are many CRM solutions available. Choose one that aligns with your business needs and goals.
Prepare Your Data: Clean and organize your existing customer data before migrating it to the new system.
Train Your Team: Ensure all users are properly trained on how to use the new system.
Start Small and Scale: Begin with core features and gradually expand as your team becomes more comfortable with the system.
The Future of CRM
As technology continues to evolve, so does CRM. Here are some trends shaping the future of CRM:
AI and Machine Learning: These technologies are being integrated into CRM systems to provide more accurate predictions and personalized recommendations.
Mobile CRM: With more work being done on-the-go, mobile CRM applications are becoming increasingly important.
Social CRM: Integration with social media platforms is allowing businesses to engage with customers where they spend a lot of their time.
Customer Experience Management: CRM is evolving beyond just managing relationships to focus on the entire customer experience.
Conclusion
In today's customer-centric business environment, CRM is no longer a luxury—it's a necessity. Whether you're a small startup or a large corporation, implementing a CRM system can help you better understand your customers, streamline your processes, and ultimately drive business growth.
Remember, CRM is not just about technology; it's about people and processes too. The most successful CRM implementations are those that align technology with business strategy and organizational culture.
As you consider implementing or upgrading your CRM system, keep in mind the key components we've discussed: contact management, lead management, sales pipeline visualization, and sales process optimization. With the right CRM solution and implementation strategy, you can transform your customer relationships and take your business to new heights.
In the end, CRM is about putting your customers at the heart of your business. By leveraging the power of CRM, you can create more meaningful, profitable, and long-lasting relationships with your customers. And in today's competitive business landscape, that could make all the difference.
