Gold naturally occurs in purities of 85% or higher. Gold is heavier than other minerals found around it and therefore it is easy to separate using water sluices. Once gold is separated from the minerals which surround it, it is refined using either a chemical method in which gold is dissolved in a solution called aqua regia, which is a strong acid solution, or it is melted along with mercury which causes impurities to concentrate in a layer of the melted gold which is called slag. Once the slag is removed, gold has been refined to 100% pure.

b. Gold is a very easy metal to alloy. This means it can be combined with other metals to achieve production goals which would make a harder metal or a metal of a different color. For example gold is alloyed with copper to make rose gold and with tin and silver to make white gold. Aside from this gold is also dissolved in solutions to create electroplating applications. These applications allow gold to be plated onto wire and for other industrial purposes.

c. In jewelry gold purity is defined by Karat. 24 karat gold is defined as gold which has 24 out of 24 parts made of pure gold. Pure gold is very soft and seldom used for jewelry as it is easy to bend and wears and scratches way too quickly. 18 karat gold, or gold which has 18 parts pure gold and 6 parts of something else, is commonly used to make high end jewelry. 14 karat gold or gold that is 14 parts pure gold and 10 parts something else, is also used to make jewelry as it is harder and more durable than 18 karat gold. Gold is measured in Troy Ounces. The old question what weighs more an ounce of gold or an ounce of feathers is actually a trick question. Gold is measured in Troy Ounces and feathers in Avoirdupois Ounces. There are 31.1 grams in a Troy Ounce and 28.35 grams in an avoirdupois ounce. Therefore the Troy ounce, the ounce of gold, is heavier than the avoirdupois ounce. Conversely, the troy pound is lighter than the avoirdupois pound. Thus making the pound of feathers heavier than the pound of gold.

3) Gold Stamps and Identification.

a. The Federal Trade Commission regulates the trade of precious metals and directs manufacturers on how to stamp and identify gold. In the United States an item must be 10 Karat Gold or higher karat to be called gold. Also, gold that is plated must be plated with 10 karat gold or better to be called gold plated. Gold jewelry fineness is identified by a stamp which tell you how pure the gold used in the piece is. 417 or 41.7 percent gold is 10 karat gold. 585 or 58.5 percent gold is 14 karat gold. 750 or 75 percent gold is 18 karat gold. Normally a piece is either stamped with a three digit number or the actual karat content, such as 14K. Jewelry which is gold plated or gold filled is stamped with a GP or GF after the karat of the gold. For example 18 KGF, denoting that this piece of jewelry was manufactured using 18 Karat Gold Filled. Gold filled jewelry is jewelry manufactured using a solid layer of gold which has been mechanically bonded to a base material such as silver or a base metal like pewter. Gold plated (GP) is when an electroplating method is used to deposit a very thin layer of gold onto silver or a base metal.

Ok, to start off with, what's your name? Robyn. Hmm I don’t tend to see R much when it comes to being the first letter of different things, so it’ll be fun to see where this goes.

Now, name something for each question starting with that letter.

A girl's name: Rhiannon. I first encountered this name reading Everyday by David Levithan and I’ll always remember how well-written the character was. The name sounded a little too foreign to me at first, but I ended up loving it.

A boy's name: Rocky, because I have an uncle with that nickname. His first name also starts with an R - Robert, if I remember correctly.

A fruit: Rambutan. Such a strange-looking fruit too.

A vegetable: Radish.

A country: Romania.

A city: Reykjavik in Iceland. Also a place I would love to visit.

Something people do outside: Ride public transport. You’re inside modes of transport when doing so, but still.

A book title: Revolutionary Road, though I’m only aware of it because I’ve seen the movie based on that exact book. I saw a copy of it - with the film poster as the main cover - in a used book store around a year ago, but I was saving at the time so I couldn’t buy it. I wish I did, because that will probably be the only time I would have ever seen the book.

A movie title: Room, which was also based on the Emma Donoghue book. It’s one of my favorite films too, along with Requiem for a Dream and Revolutionary Road.

A Broadway musical title: Rent. I had to watch the movie adaptation for a film class. It absolutely sucked.

a. Baguio All Day is a clothing brand in Baguio City where the weather is colder compared to other cities in the Philippines. The company focuses its efforts in providing potential customers with fashionable clothing that are appropriate for Baguio’s cold weather - in such case, clothes with thick material.

b. Selecta, an ice cream company markets their product heavily in tropical countries like the Philippines where ice cream sales peak during hot days in summer.

c. Mcdonald’s adapts to the geographic and cultural region of the countries/cities they put up their business in. They localize their products according to tradition and resources abundant in a specific country/city. In India, Mcdonald’s equivalent of the Big Mac burger is the Maharaja Mac - it’s like the Big Mac but without pork.

d. Dart and True Temper, a lawn and garden company markets its snow shovel in countries where snowfall is a normal occurrence.

a. Sephora targets female buyers therefore their products are mostly for female beauty care and cosmetics. They even use female models to showcase their products

b. Toys R Us focuses on producing toys for children within the age group of 0-10 years old

c. The Mercedes Benz use income segmentation. They have extremely expensive cars worth of at least half a million dollars which are meant for high income consumers. They also offer cheap cars that start at 40,000 dollars for consumers with lesser income

d. Dollar Shave Club introduces products exclusive for men. They provide razors, and other grooming products for men to use and also market their products using male models.

3. Psychographic

a. Lifestyle. An athlete shoe manufacturer like Adidas divide their customers according to their lifestyle or what sport these athletes play and create products specific for such lifestyle (basketball, running, etc.).

b. Social Status. A luxury clothing brand like Dolce and Gabbana targets elitists and create products that only the higher class can afford.

c. Islamic Design House, a clothing brand in the United Arab Emirates where most people are muslim therefore, they focus more on creating clothing that could cover the hair and body from neck to ankle.

Why the Philippines? I don’t know… perhaps it’s nice this time of year. Anyways, once there Black Bolt is relieved of his gag, yet it seems that whatever The X-Men did to neutralize his powers seems to have some lasting effects.

All of them continue to be confused as to why The X-Men had so attacked them... Reader is there but he has yet to inform Medusa and the others the critical information regarding the dispersement of The Terrigen Cloud (maybe he’s too tired from all that teleporting). In any case, Karnak has a suspicion that things may be much more than they seem.

Ms. Marvel, Cyclops, and the NuHumans touch down off the coast of Iceland where the Terrigen Cloud is shortly to make landfall. They hope that Forge is able to arrive in time to destroy it. Somehow the X-Men have found them (likely they tracked the Blackbird) and they show up in attack formation. The NuHumans are too surprised to shout out ‘wait, we’re on your side now!’ and a battle ensues.

He has no more time for all this and decides to end the battle by magnetically lifting up the Blackbird and sending it crashing down onto both X-Man and Inhuman alike… And it’s here that the issue ends with the promise of conclusion in the sixth and final installment.

Okay, so a lot of cool things happened in the issue, as well as a lot of stuff that was… how should I say, not so good… On the plus side of things, the Nuhumans definitely show up as the true good guys of the event. All this may as well be a dress rehearsal for Secret Warriors because they’re the only ones who show a lick of sense in the whole ordeal. Both The X-Men and The Royal Inhumans are acting quite foolishly and it’s becoming increasingly clear that this whole war may have been avoided had the two parties merely been open in their communications with one another.

Havok’s cameo appearance was very confusing. It wasn’t at all clear what he was doing here nor why he so quickly backed down. I’ll admit that I haven’t kept up with what’s been going on for Havok of late, why his face is all scared up like that, so maybe there is some key detail I’m missing. His exchange with Medusa kind of felt like an online chat forum disagreement between fans. Which is fine because it offers up a convenient screen-cap for me to use the next two dozen times an X-Men fan comes at me with some weird ask regarding Cyclops being likened to Hitler…

Back on the plus side, Gorgon’s battle with Colossus was pretty good. Although I was bummed to see Gorgon lose, his comment about actually being a big fan of metal at the end was a nice touch.

On the negative side, Black Bolt once more gets nothing to do. I’ve very few complaints regarding Charles Soule’s stewardship of The Inhumans. He’s done great work with the books and I’m really going to miss his being on The Inhumans. The one thing I will not miss, however, is Soule’s reluctance, disinterested and/or discomfort with writing Black Bolt. BB has been continuously sidelined for one reason or another, not just in this series but throughout Soule’s work on Inhumans. Writing extremely powerful characters must be difficult, but surely there is a better option than just continually nerfing the guy.

Garrón’s art kicks it up a notch in the issue. I’m still getting used to his interesting use of facial expression, but the action sequences are quite fluid, dynamic and well done. Curiel does especially impressive work keeping up with huge shifts in color pallet as the scenes move from The World, Limbo, New Jersey and Iceland.

Perhaps it’s ‘event fatigue,’ but I’m seeing the preview art for The Royals, Secret Warriors, and Black Bolt, covers to upcoming issues of Moon Girl, Ms. Marvel, Mosaic, and now Monster Unleashed, and it’s all leaving me feeling pretty much ready to have IvX be done with. Let’s get this X-Men business done with and move on. Or maybe it’s just Karnak’s words ringing especially true to me ears. His noting that ‘this conflict with the Mutants was inherently flawed from the beginning’ is all but meta-contextual. I almost wish he had been looking at the camera like one of the character from The Office.

This two week’s time brings us the grand finale. I’ve got a pretty decent idea of what is going to go down, but am looking forward to it nonetheless. Bring on the final battle!

Before Christianity came into Khongso Land, the Khongso were Animisms. At present an estimated (90) percent of Khongso are Traditional Christian. Animism is the belief that spirits reside in both living and non-living things.

There are a wide variety of Church denominations among them, such as Evangelical Free Church of Myanmar (EFCM), Anglican Church, Roman Catholic, Church of Christ, Lutheran Church, Presbyterian, Methodist and Baptist churches from Myanmar Baptist Convention. As health care is not easily available, many are relying on the traditional remedies seasonal sicknesses. Although public health department branches are nominally free, in reality patients have to pay for medicine and treatment. Public hospitals are lacking many of the basic facilities and equipment.

VI. Every Khongso Chin household has a garden for growing vegetables. The husband is the head of the household. Both men and women engage in agricultural chores and other activities. Sons and daughters are equally valued, but only sons may inherit property.

The Khongso Chin have traditionally practiced slash and burn agriculture, clearing a parcel land and using it for one to five years before letting it return to the jungles. They crops in the fields like rice, sesame seeds, chili, ginger, mangoes and oranges. They also grow vegetables, beans, peas, melons and pumpkins. The Khongso can only earn cash by selling animals and crops from their farms. Cultivation is done mostly by hand without animals, using cows in place of plows. Also grow cotton for clothes but do less that they uses to now that they can afford commercially produced clothes. Pigs, gayal and fowl are the most common domesticated animals. Dogs are kept for hunting.

IX. TRANSPORTATION There are no airport, no public transport. Only by boat, alternatively you can take the mini bus to Paletwa or Sami. There is no direct connection from Yangon or Mandalay City, Myanmar. However you can take the bus from Yangon or Mandalay to Kyathaw Township, Rakhine state, take ride ferry or bus to Paletwa town or Sami town.

I bought an engagement ring for my Filipina, and I made this vlog about it.

We went to the mall in Subic that day, and there is where I tempted myself into buying an engagement ring for my Filipina girlfriend. Then we wanted to go back to that little park called Triboa Bay Mangrove Park, but we actually got a flat tire. After fixing and changing the tire, we headed over to Triboa Bay Mangrove Park, where I proposed to her. We watched a nice sunset together there at Subic Bay, Zambales.
