During the day, the wind will not let you feel hot. In winter, you can enjoy the sunlight while lying on the sand and watching the sunset. Some of the most popular touring spots to enjoy with family in Jaisalmer are as follows-
Jaisalmer Fort and Havelis
Tumblr media
Jaisalmer is a city of emperors, which is reflected from its fort, Havelis, and their architecture. This city has havelis telling a tale of opulence and wealth. Stone art, and beautiful ‘Parkota’ (balconies) from where Maharani (Queens) used to see the city define the class of architecture. The top three havelis in this regard are Patwon Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, and Nathmal Ki Haveli.
Desert Safaris
Tumblr media
Jaisalmer’s tour is incomplete without a desert safari. So, if you are planning to land in the Golden City for touring reasons, reserve an evening for the camel ride. For this, Sam Sand Dunes is there to welcome you. Here you will find ‘Thar ka Jahaj’ — The Plane of the desert, i.e., camel for desert safari. This ride will give you a mix of See-Saw (Swing) and butterflies in your tummy while sitting and standing on the floor. Here, you can also enjoy a game of hide and seek and climbing up and rolling down from the dunes. Running in the sand itself is the best adventure. The right time to do a desert safari is evening. You also stay here overnight in camps and enjoy the breezy nights and folk dances.
Kuldhara

It is one of the oldest abandoned villages a few kilometres from the city. This village belongs to the 18th century. The assumption is that this village was abandoned due to the water shortage. STATUARIO MARBLE BY BHANDARI MARBLE GROUP
The Best Ways To Use Statuario  Carrara Marble In Interior Design in 2020
Statuario marble is without doubt, one of the most beautiful Italian marbles available. It is the epitome of style and elegance and has been utilised as a symbol of sophistication and status in interior design for centuries. We are often asked about statuario marble by architects, interior designers, luxury builders and end-users alike. In this article we will discuss the traits of statuario marble along with its most common uses in  architecture:
Tumblr media
Statuario Marble
Statuario marble is a striking and exclusive bright white natural stone, denoted by its beautiful gold and grey veining and its rich, bold patterns. It is arguably the most sought-after white stone in the marble family. Statuario marble often contains heavy grey veining throughout with unique and complex patterns. It originates from the mountain quarries of Statuario, above Carrara in Italy.  We are one of the leading suppliers of the rare statuario marble in World and its limited availability, coupled with its high demand, make it a real statement in any  residence or commercial building.
Tumblr media
Best Uses for Statuario Marble in  Architecture
Given its prestige status, statuario marble is unsurprisingly commonly used as a focal point of any room. Most of our clients use it for stunning kitchen countertops and backsplashes or as large floor tiles. Luxury bathrooms are equally good uses for this natural stone, as it’s the perfect material for a vanity area or even as eye-catching floor tiles. Generally speaking, statuario marble is not a good material for external projects. It’s equally popular with our commercial clients where it can be used as part of a statement reception area or boardroom, in 5-star hotels and can often be seen in religious buildings such as churches. In ancient Italy, statuario marble was the marble of choice for carving lavish statues and was the stone used for Michelangelo’s famous ‘David’ masterpiece.
Tumblr media
Statuario Marble
The above are just a few reasons why statuario marble could be the perfect building material your luxury interior project. We are market leaders in Italian marble in India. To discuss your options and how to make natural stone work for you, drop into our factory outlet showroom today or give us a call or email and we’ll be happy to give you an expert opinion.
Cool colors for walls and cabinets look best with Carrara marble counters, but you can style with any color.
Extracted from the mountains of Carrara in Tuscany, Statuario Carrara marble is a beautiful material with many different uses, most commonly in spaces like the kitchen or the bathroom. One of the reasons why it’s so popular has to do with its affordable pricing. Carrara marble is less expensive than quartz or granite and a lot of people would say it’s also more beautiful and elegant.
One of the most common uses for Statuario Carrara marble is in the kitchen, for countertops and backsplashes, often in matching pairs.
A waterfall countertop is perfect for showcasing the beautiful gray veins on white Statuario  Carrara marble. Freestanding kitchen islands are a convenient way of highlighting such a feature.
If you like the delicate and timeless look of Statuario Carrara marble there’s no reason to limit yourself to countertop or backsplash surfaces. It can be interesting to have a whole vanity covered in this material. It’s an option best-suited for bathrooms.
One of the coolest things about Statuario Carrara marble, besides its refined and elegant look, is its versatility. This timeless material can look classy and beautiful when paired with a lot of different styles.
A great way to emphasize the magnificent and unique beauty of Statuario Carrara marble is to create an accent wall like this one. It’s a great idea for modern bathrooms which are typically very simple and airy.
White is the generally-preferred color when it comes to Statuario marble of all kinds which is great because Statuario Carrara marble doesn’t come in many nuances. Still, some darker gray tones are available in case you’re interested.
Statuario marble countertops and backsplashes are very common but there are not the only ways to use Carrara marble in interior design. A less popular option is a marble table top. Perhaps your coffee table could use a makeover just about now.
Similarly, a console table with a Statuario marble top can look very stylish and refined. This can potentially be an exquisite focal point for an entryway, hallway or for a dressing room.
It’s easy to get carried away when decorating with Statuario Carrara marble. You start with a vanity counter, you add a matching backsplash, maybe a matching sink too and before you know it your whole bathroom is covered in marble. Sometimes that’s actually not a bad idea.
Speaking of stylish bathrooms, another elegant idea is a marble walk-in shower, preferably with transparent glass enclosures so the space remains open and airy. A matching vanity counter would make the space look even better.
Not a shower kind of person? Maybe a Statuario marble bathtub would be better-suited in your case. Such a piece would make an exquisite focal point for any bathroom, no matter how big or small.
If you’d like to use some Statuario marble in the bathroom but not in a very eye-catching manner, a marble sink or washbasin could be the perfect solution.
Statuario Marble floor tiles are a cool option too. The bathroom floor rarely gets any attention and this is a way in which you can change that.
Statuario Marble wall tiles are just as great. Use them to create an accent wall in your bathroom or kitchen. Statuario White marble reflects and amplifies light so keep that in mind when choosing the color. Complement the marble wall with a few wood elements for a warm and welcoming look.
Even a small Statuario marble detail can have a big impact on the design and ambiance of a space. That’s true for every type of space, including the living room, the bedroom or even the office. There’s no wrong place to use marble in which only helps to prove just how versatile and truly timeless this material really is.

Architecture
The architecture of Pushkar is remarkable. There are around 500 temples in Pushkar and all are designed so beautifully and traditionally. Fairs
Pushkar is famous for its yearly fair known as Pushkar Camel Fair featuring a selling bazaar of cattle, horses, and camels. It is held in the month of October.Pushkar fair lasts for five days and it is a period of lessening and happiness for the villagers. This fair time is the tiring time for them, as this is one of the largest cattle fairs in the country. In addition to the livestock trading market, Pushkar holds a fiesta of folk music and dances, magic shows, horse and camel races and various other traditional sports and competitions. Other famous fairs are Nagaur Fair and Tejaji Fair.
Tourism
Pushkar is a preferred destination for thousands of tourists and followers. Along with exciting epic history, a bequest of eternal architectural inheritance makes Pushkar a captivating city. Lakes
Pushkar Lake – The major attraction of Pushkar is the Pushkar Lake which is considered as a consecrated lake. Pushkar has become a place of Hindu pilgrimage because of this holy lake.
Old Pushkar – Old Pushkar Lake is reconstructed and is located around 5 km from Pushkar Lake. According to the primeval texts, Old Pushkar has the same cultural and religious worth for the visitors.
Other Attractions
Pushkar is one of the pilgrimage places for those who exercise the Hindu belief and offer blessings in their lifetime. One of the attractions in Pushkar is the famous Maha Aarti. The blazes, flinging of colorful flower petals and melodies were actually touching. The coolest part of visiting Pushkar is that you can drive into the desert. Camel safaris are running all year round, including the offseason.
Shopping and Food
Pushkar has some naively cheap prices for leather bags, wall hangings, shawls, handicrafts, and jewellery. The best foods in Pushkar are the falafels. The vendors can easily be seen on the main market street. The falafel stalls serve up a giant covering with falafel, fries, salad and cheese filling and it only costs around 100 rupees.

You can either plan an itinerary of your own or purchase a holiday package to Rajasthan that covers these significant destinations to make the most of your New Year celebrations.

Bustling BLUE City of Jodhpur | Jodhpur The Blue Heaven | Rajasthan
Jodhpur The Blue Heaven
You have likely scrolled through pictures of Jodhpur on Pinterest (ahem… click on right here to test out my boards) or elsewhere on the internet, unknowingly; it’s the Blue City of Jodhpur– all of the buildings painted a sky blue, searching super in contrast to the dusty barren region town.
Update: I have due to the fact been back to Jodhpur, 5 years in a while the dot, and wrote this submit which is a brand new examine Jodhpur as I do not tour as a backpacker and extra into boutique travel, buying, cute little accommodations (I stayed in a palace that has rooms from $50 a night under the fort!). You can examine it here.
When you appearance down from an excessive vantage point, it’s quite possibly one of the coolest perspectives you’ll see. The pleasant view is from the Mehrangarh Fort.  PS: The Dark Knight Rises turned into filmed right here!
Jodhpur The Second Largest City of Rajasthan
Jodhpur is the second biggest town within the state of Rajasthan and is known as the “solar state” as it has a top-notch climate yr round. Jodhpur may be very lots so a place of subculture. The human beings and the house decor are all vibrant, bright colorations.
The ladies are draped in gold, with many huge jiggling gold anklets and bracelets. Nose piercings in India are the norm, and the chain from nostril to ear is considered one of my preferred add-ons on these terrify girls.
Rajasthani Sweets
My favorite location to eat Indian meals, in trendy, is Rajasthan, so a thali from Hotel Haveli is something you need to attempt. I was given this one for 200 rupees and couldn’t finish it all. The thali has all items tweaked to the traditional Rajasthani manner, along with some vegetables/chiles growing in the Thar wilderness and nowhere else.
Want to Travel This Amazing Place in Rajasthan then Do Check out Cab Service in Jodhpur.
Just make sure you order undeniable chapatti (and not using ghee) because if you devour ghee each day you’re quite in all likelihood going to head returned domestically from India with a significantly larger bum. Indians are used to it, however, introducing it right into a food plan that’s in no way had it is certain to do a little fattening up. But what would possibly definitely make you fatter is the lifestyle on this city of ingesting your goodies earlier than the meal (known as Mithi Manohar).
Have a Dinner
So many locations will have dancers or snake charmers are available in and placed on a little display for you with conventional dance, flutes, and tambourines. One little woman genuinely bent over backward and picked up 2 rings with her eyes! It’s amazing and predicted that you could give them a tip on the quit as properly.
Choose a rooftop location so that you could have a brilliant view of the lit-up castle whilst you consume. Can it get better than that? Actually, YES! Order some ginger honey lemon tea and arise and dance with them when they ask. A gain of touring on my own- no person has to peer that.
Stay In Jodhpur
OK, I can’t provide you with a complete evaluation, because I didn’t do all my homework, however, I can say wherein I stayed. Thanks to advice from Lonely Planet, I selected Gouri Heritage Haveli. It has a fan, a big bed, an attached toilet, and A/C. I observed that during October A/C wasn’t vital however became just a pleasant bonus.
This room changed into quality, massive and there has been a courtyard in the center to have tea in the morning. I spent maximum of my time far away from the guesthouse, so it served its functions however wasn’t any such superb vicinity that I wanted to kick back there. I did do laundry by hand in my room and hung it to dry, which they didn’t thoughts.
Stay Tuned

My favorite City in India
So today I would like to introduce you to my favorite City in India (by now). If I think of my past 3 trips to India that I haven’t even seen a tiny part of what I still wish to see. There are so many places on my TO-GO-List that I probably would need the rest of my life traveling through India. Which is just a dream but I will do the best to see as much as I can in the future.
I actually visited this fascinating city with 3.1 Mio. people 2 times already and I can’t wait to be there again next year and dive in even more. Coming from a country like Switzerland these cities are humongous lol. Our whole country only has 8 Mio.
Jaipur
Jaipur is also called the Pink City. Why? The Old Town of Jaipur is made of pink stones and in 1876 they painted the whole city pink because of the visit of the Prince of Wales and Queen Victoria of England. The color Pink also symbolizes hospitality in India. It truly is fascinating to see all these Pink(ish) buildings while you stroll through the busy streets. Jaipur also is the capital city of Rajasthan and is not only rich of culture and fascinating history with forts and palaces it’s also the capital city of jewelry and textiles in India. To me Jaipur is inspiring and this royal city even has the coolest Restaurant i ever ate in!
Pani Puri from a street Wala
Gantaji Temple – Monkey Temple
My favorite building the Patrika Gate
Entrance of Chokhi Dhani in Jaipur
Amber Fort in Jaipur
Celebrating Holi
Me in front of one of the Forts
Snake charmer next to Hawa Mahal
The gate Ganesh Pol
Jantar Mantar Jaipur
I even got my Tattoo there
City Palace of Jaipur
There are so many more amazing things you can do in and around Jaipur. You could even go Elephant riding but I don’t support this and feel very sorry for my favorite animals.
As you can see from the last picture in the gallery I even got my dream Tattoo dedicated to India done by my tattoo artist friend. One thing I didn’t do yet is going shopping and I deeply regret this lol. I mean come on I am a women 😉  we need this and as far as I know there are super cool shopping malls in the city.
Coolest Restaurant
And I was talking about the coolest Restaurant I ever ate at before, right? This Restaurant even serves very delicious food and special drinks and honestly we felt like little kids in there. It’s called Vegetrainian and it’s a vegetarian Restaurant that serves food on trains on tracks. The whole Restaurant is in the theme of trains and is just soooo awesome! I Will have to back there again next time for more pictures, videos and of course for the food 😉 . This is my own personal recommendation!
Have a little sneak-peak of this fun Restaurant right here in the video!

There is nothing hotter in India than sitting in front of the couch with no currents in your apartment. Something that can match that would be trying Hyderabadi biryani for the first time. India is a hot country. Its extreme climates, from the tip of Kashmir to the southern depths of Kanyakumari can range from heatwave inducing to sub-zero teeth clattering.
But, there are some places or destinations in India that are in some way immune to the scorching heat of the summer sun. You can easily visit these cool Indian destinations by modes of rail, road or air. During warm weather or times when beating the heat becomes a priority, traveling to these cool places makes perfect sense.

Travel Season
We millennials love to work (or at least pretend to). We are so engrossed in our daily tasks, PPT presentations, client meetings, smoking breaks, unending gossip that we forget about the more important things in life, such as family, friends, pets and pizza.
Many of us promised our family that we would go on family vacation by the end of this year. Some of us might opt for spending the start of 2019 in a different country. Some might want to see the sun rise in the east (literally) or some would prefer ogling at the fireworks of Burj-Al-Dubai. We all have our individual plans and travel itinerary to follow.
Some of you might want to go on a world tour perhaps. Whatever the reason for the travel or whichever destination you want to visit, you will need funds. It is not easy for salaried individuals to keep aside some form of travel funds when there are so many priority expenses to cater to. So, what do salaried individuals do in order to go on a holiday? Apply for a travel loan of course.
Travel Loan at Loan Singh
The unsecured aspect of a travel loan in itself makes it a potent financial solution in times of travel cash crunch. Suppose you remove the offline paperwork, delayed verification, repeated trips to the bank and delayed approval, from the travel loan availing process.  And then you turn the process online, with only 3 documents (to be uploaded), an approximately 5-minute application process and doing all this from the confines of your home. These features, my friends, make an online travel loan even faster to avail.
An online travel personal loan is a fantastic option during times of sudden travel plans. Sometimes, your savings might not cover the cost of a complete travel holiday. You might sometimes need to supplement your emergency travel fund with a shot of cash from other sources. It is true that a number of traditional lending institutions provide travel loans. But, isn’t an online travel personal loan synonymous with quick, instant and requiring less paperwork?
So, what’s the best source of travel funds to plan a sudden ‘zindagi milengi na dobaara’ travel trip? How can you travel the world with the least of hassles and no tension? How to apply for an instant travel personal loan? Are there any online travel personal loan providers in India? The single answer to all these questions is Loan Singh.

My Guide: the BEST Itinerary for India
I get e-mails from readers who are planning to backpack India and they want the details: who to fly with, how to get their visa, should they use a travel agent, & an itinerary for India (where should they go and in what order). I’ve noticed that since I posted the only packing list you need for India, I don’t get questions about packing anymore. I’m assuming that is because it helped people.
I am finally answering these FAQs about India! Some of your questions don’t have simple answers! I’m doing very detailed posts about a handful of the topics. The first up is, “Where should I go, and in what order? I want to save money.” First, I’ll explain what options I took in my India itinerary. Then I’ll discuss the pros and cons of the following suit. I’ll follow up with other route options that I considered or plan to take soon.
Tips for Traveling to and in India If you’re serious about having the trip of a lifetime, check out my India Guide ebook which is a complete guide to India and has 6 years of travel experience expertly organized to plan your trip from A to Z. If you’re on a budget, check out my hostel guide to India here. Otherwise, I love using Agoda to compare different hotels. If you want to do a tour to check out a lot of these at once, there is one that does it ALL and it’s the ultimate India tour from G Adventures, the only tour group I recommend in India that covers the whole country. I have a list of the best itineraries I suggest for group tours in India as well. I trust G Adventures for these tours. They have international standards and my close friends have taken these tours and loved them. The Best Itinerary For India (3 Months) Rajasthan First, I flew into Mumbai.
From there I went to by train to Rajasthan. This is where Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Pushkar, and Jaipur are. If you’d rather, check Kiwi to see how cheap flights are to Rajasthan instead.
You need about 3-4 weeks for this state. I didn’t feel the need to see Gujarat and felt like I’d seen enough of this area to head north. I traveled this state by bus.
Himachal Pradesh Next, I went to Delhi to regroup, meet a friend and got my butt up to the mountains. I was mainly in Himachal Pradesh and the surrounding states. These include Shimla, Sarahan, Kullu, Manali, back to Kullu, Dharamsala, McLeod Ganj, Amritsar, and Rishikesh.
Next, another break back in Delhi, which is a hub that seems impossible to miss. Agra + Varanasi Then I went to Agra, which is where you’ll go if you want to visit the Taj Mahal. Next, I went to Varanasi.
Goa + Hampi After Varanasi, I took a train back to Delhi to catch a cheaper flight to Goa and Hampi. If you will be spending a week or more in Goa (which I highly suggest) then do check out my $25 e-book. The Insider’s Guide to Goa is 170-pages long and will guarantee you have the best time in Goa, meet other travels, and chill at all the coolest places. Click here to purchase.
Kerala I was meant to go to Kerala and go on the backwaters but meeting Ben in Goa kind of stopped my trip there, although we did go to Hampi together. With this route, it would be really easy to head south by train to Kerala. From there, you can fly back to Mumbai and catch a flight home. OR you could fly to Kerala from Delhi, and do Goa after, then back to Mumbai to fly home. The second option there would prevent you from taking
The second option there would prevent you from taking the second flight. Summary of my Itinerary for India If you look at a map you’ll see that I covered most of the NorthWest and a nice chunk of the far North. You would think I missed the main bits of India, and in a sense I did.
This is the thing: The places I went are tourist friendly. I’m not saying they’re like when you hop Thai islands and get stickers like a child. What I mean is that they are places you’ll like visiting. Tourists pick these cities for a reason.
No matter how “touristy” someone says a city is in India, this is STILL India. In my opinion, it’s not touristy at all, even in Goa.
Is there a “Tourist Trail” to follow? If you go into many other areas, you’ll find they aren’t ready for tourism. Although that may be what you’re looking for, I think you’ll be disappointed. It won’t be like a book you read where some girl found a local village and met people who changed her life… most likely, seeing as though India has almost 1.3 BILLION people, you will end up in a bustling town with nowhere to stay and people trying to rip you off because they haven’t seen a tourist.

If you are coming to India to “find yourself” or see the spiritual side that India is popular for, you probably won’t find it in the cities, unless you take mass amounts of Xanax. Westerners go to the same places Indians have for centuries because they are awesome.

The path I took is a pretty common tourist trail mainly because it allows you to see the desert, ride a camel, play in the Himalayas, visit the Dalai Lama’s new home, visit Rishikesh the birthplace of yoga, see the Taj Mahal, watch the cremations on the Ganges, and beach it up in Goa.
The biggest tourist trail of all is the “Golden Triangle”: Delhi, Agra, Jaipur which is what most international tours to India will take you on if you have a week or two. The next major India tour would probably be a Rajasthan tour which usually adds on to the Golden Triangle tour. When I started on that path, I was unaware it was the tourist trail, I just realized it was the only route that made sense. No one does it in the same order though, and I found it hard to find travel buddies. I did have to do a total180 and take my itinerary backward because of seasonal changes.
When you are in Italy and you pick a random town to go to, you find beauty and nice cafes…. I hate to tell you it just isn’t the same in India. If you have limited time, you should take a moment and think about what you want to do, see, and experience. Next, figure out where you can do those things. Place dots on a map; do a little planning. Take a hard look at it to see which route makes for the best!
Yoga in India If you are interested in taking courses but want to pay safely and not get ripped off, you can use bookyogaretreats.com for retreats and bookyogateachertraining.com for YTT. These are owned by the same team and they only list the best of the best on there. There are reviews for other yogis who have been there so you can dive in and do some serious research. I recommend sorting by the “top recommended”.
The top places for yoga in India are Rishikesh, Dharamshala, and Goa.
What did you miss that you still want to do? There is much more I want to see. My bucket list for India is never-ending. As a tourist, you get a six-month visa usually. This just isn’t enough time to see what India has to offer. I am so happy with what I saw in my time there, which was three months, and I didn’t leave with any feelings of longing for other cities I missed.
Fast-forward to now I’ve been living in India and traveling to loads of places, not on the so called tourist trail. I can tell you for sure that if I had to re-do my path I wouldn’t change a thing. I didn’t come to India as a backpacker to eat at the Hard Rock Café in Bangalore with all the expats (although I love it now!), I came to see exactly what I saw.
The main places I missed were:
Calcutta, which was fine because I’d had enough big city, The North East, which I’ve now visited Pondicherry (the French colony) Kerala backwaters (now been here as well) The southern-most tip of Tamil Nadu where the Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal, and Arabi Sea meet. This is also where Gandhi’s ashes were scattered. I missed the rural areas but later wandered around Karnataka for a month. There are much more, but those were ones on my list of places I was interested in. If you follow the itinerary I set, and don’t fall in love in Goa, you’ll have time to go to Kerala. You could fly from Delhi down and check out Kovalam, Varkala, Kochi, and then bus up to Goa.

Keep in mind, that this was a three-month trip. If you go for six months, add Calcutta, Sikkim, and Pondicherry. There are so many famous temples, like the Kama Sutra one, that I missed, but I still have time. Take some time to read about India before you come and see what you want to do. Once you have that, you’ll easily make an itinerary that will leave you satisfied at the end of your journey.
I have my original list of places I wanted to see on my three-month trip, and even almost two years since I left on that backpacking trip and living in India, I still have yet to even finish 75% of it.
