Here's a huge ass list of everything (as in all of the media) that I can see sharing the same universe as the Gargoyles reboot and action-thriller animated film that I have in mind, Gargoyles: The Curse Of Hunter's Moon, now that I've finalized the whole storyline and am now just bored:
• Seth Grahame-Smith's Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter along with its sequel The Last American Vampire
• Guy Ritchie's The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare
• Park Chan-Wook's Oldboy
• Monolith Productions' F.E.A.R. Series
• Stephen Sommers' The Mummy Duology
• Kim Jee-Won's I Saw The Devil
• Nacho Vigalondo's Timecrimes
• Julius Avery's Overlord
• Don Chaffey's Jason and the Argonauts

H E A D C A N O N S
maddie is the youngest of three, born and raised in san diego. daughter of a psychologist with a phd and a divorce lawyer, emotions were always talked through. however maddie never truly thought hers were as valid as the rest of her family's.
with a 10 year gap between her and her older brother, ethan, maddie always looked up to him. he was always the golden son, straight a student and quarterback that got him a scholarship to ucla. after that, there was med school, a surgical residency and a family of four.
she worked really hard throughout her teenage years to get in her dream school and follow her brother's footsteps. in high school she was the cheer captain and the president of the fashion club that she founded herself. while academically she didn't have the same aspirations as her brother, as the youngest she was also allowed to dream out of the box.
fashion and arts had always been something maddie loved from a young age. it was normal to find her painting or sweing outfits for herself, sometimes for her sister.
amber and maddie never saw eye to eye and would spend days fighting. amber was always a free spirit in the family and very opinionated. maddie would often dime her light to let her sister shine.
by the time she graduated high school, maddie had gone through a bad break up that changed a lot of the way she thought. she ended up deferring from her first year in ucla and against all odds, she went backpacking across the globe.
from southest asia to australia where she stayed for longer than she anticipated and lived to the fullest, away from all the expectations of home. her last stop was south africa for a month before heading to south america where she volunteered teaching english at schools and learned spanish fluently.
by the time she returned to the us, she had found her own person and went to college to study fashion. it was during this time that she got closer to her sister and after she graduated, they both moved in together in a little apartment in santa monica.
the fashion job market was really hard to get in and maddie started working in social media, styling small influencers for exposure and doing content creation on the side herself. it didn't work out the way she thought it would and she ended up working for a social media agency for 2 years.
she was almost giving up when the dream opportunity found her and she moved to new york city to be an assistant at a fashion magazine known world wide.
living in the city for the last 2 years with a roommate that has become like a sister, teagan wilds, less than a hour away from her brother and her twin nieces, maddie can't complain about her life right now. she's waiting on a promotion to become a stylist at the magazine but she wants to keep herself grounded in case it doesn't happen as soon as she's expecting it.

Isla Weir — The Survivor
On the morning of September 8th of 1980, Isla Weir was presumed dead.
The night of November 1st of 1983, Isla Weir dragged herself from the clutches of death to the doorstep of her childhood home. The dead girl walking. Only, upon her return, another child takes her place: William Byers.
Between haunting nightmares, that aren’t really nightmares at all, and a boat load of survivors guilt, Isla learns very quickly that she’s the only one capable of preventing the disappearance of more children and teens alike. Throwing herself headfirst back into the hell dimension she tried so hard to escape from, Isla trades in her title of ‘survivor’ for the title of ‘hero’.
Birthday: February 14th, 1967 (Aquarius)
Quote(s):
“We do what we have to in order to survive. It isn’t personal.”
“I do. Because the same thing happened to me and... I’m starting to realize I don’t want it to happen to anyone else.”
“Okay, then we’ll run away to California and live with the Brady Bunch, duh.”
Theme song(s):
My Tears Ricochet by Taylor Swift
Brutal by Olivia Rodrigo
As It Was by Harry Styles
Funeral by Phoebe Bridgers
Tumblr media
Dawn Miller — The Protector
Dawn Millers life began the moment she was dragged into the upside down; with her mother dead and her father off doing fuck knows what, she didn’t have much keeping her around. It wasn’t until the threat of a blood thirsty monster that she found her purpose. More specifically, when she stumbled upon a crying child, shaking from fear beneath a rock formation in the woods.
Isla Weir was Dawn Millers reason. Her motivation to keep fighting. her ray of hope in an otherwise dark and unforgiving dimension. For over four years she did everything in her power to keep her safe and sane. It was something she excelled at. All well searching for a way to uphold her promise to her surrogate little sister; to get Isla back into the arms of her loving family. To get her home.
Birthday: June 27th, 1963 (cancer)
Quote(s):
“What’s your favorite song? Sing it to me.”
“We’re gonna get out of here, okay? I’m gonna get you home, I promise you that.”
“Avery, I swear to god-”
Theme song(s):
Matilda by Harry Styles
Rescue by Lauren Daigle
Lean On Me by Bill Withers
Tumblr media
Avery Fleming — The Fighter
From the moment Avery Fleming was sucked into the Hell Dimension known as the upside down, she was deemed a teenage runaway. With a bad attitude and a mean left hook to back it up, she was never anything more than a basket case. A screw up destined for failure.
But the fire that burned so fiercely in her heart proved to be her greatest strength in an alternate dimension filled with monsters out for blood. Even if it was the same thing that caused her to bump heads with Dawn Miller — the self appointed leader of their little band of lost misfit toys.
Birthday: April 8th, 1965 (Aries)
Quote(s):
“Stop feeding her fake fantasy’s Dawn! No ones coming to save us, we’re stuck here and we’re all gonna fucking die!”
“Control is a fucking fantasy.”
“You did what you had to do too survive. We all did. You shouldn’t be sorry for that.”
Theme song(s):
This Is Me Trying by Taylor Swift
Devil In Me by Halsey
Fetch The Bolt Cutters by Fiona Apple
Water Me Down by MOTHICA
Tumblr media
Ezekiel Shaw — The Brains
Ezekiel Shaw had battled more monsters than he could count — in Dungeons and Dragons, obviously. In the real world? Hah! He couldn’t even stand up to the kids at school who relentlessly bullied him. Instead, he begged his parents to move to a different state. That was his first mistake. His second was deciding to take a nice little stroll through Hawkins on the morning of September 8th of 1979.
His wish to be free of bullies was granted when he was snatched up by a slimy, veiny monster and dragged into the pits of hell. Or, more commonly known as, the upside down. He was goner, no doubt about it. That is, if it wasn’t for his saving grace which came in the form of a pissed off teenage girl armed with nothing more than a stick; Avery Fleming.
Birthday: December 18th, 1966 (Sagittarius)
Quote(s):
“Do you know what I’d do for the monsters to go back into my stupid board game?!”
“It’s like a shark, it can smell blood.”
“We need to collect intel on this thing if it’s hunting us. We’re the ones with the brains, not the Demogorgon!”
Theme song(s):
In The End by Tommee Profitt
Fourth Of July by Sufjan Stevens
No Time To Die by Billie Eilish
Tumblr media
Steve Harrington — The Childhood Best Friend
On the evening of September 8th of 1979, Steve Harrington lost his best friend. He remembered being twelve years old and his mother sitting him down to explain to him the concept of ‘death’. He remembered sobbing into his pillow once he understood; he’d never see Isla Weir again.
And then, he did. On the morning on November 6th his supposedly dead best friend walked into Hawkins High School. A little taller now and a hell of a lot more guarded but he still recognized her. He would know her anywhere; in death and at the end of the world. But with her return comes to cruel reality that they’re nothing more than two ghosts of the children they’d once been.
Quote(s):
“Don’t call her that. She’s not a freak.”
“You expect me to let a lady walk home alone? With all the crazies in this town? Come on, just let me drive you.”
“No, I just... everyone looked for you — I looked for you. For months. I-we were worried about you. Everyone was.”
Theme song(s):
Two Ghosts by Harry Styles
I Lost A Friend by FINNEAS
Movies by Conan Gray
Supercut by Lorde
Tumblr media
James Weir — The Desperate Father
When Isla Weir disappeared during a game of hide and seek, James Weir lost everything. But he’d do anything to get it back. To get her back.
After six months filled with dead end leads and too many bottles of scotch to count, James stepped down from his position as chief of police. Instead, in his desperation, he sought answers from Hawkins National Laboratory. Gaining employment as a security officer, he slowly and immorally work his way up the chain of command. In his desperation he lost more than he ever bargained too; his ethics, his freedom, even his wife. All of it, gone.
But just when he was ready to dive off the deep end, follow his wife into the sweet dark abyss that was death, he got the answers he’d been searching for; his daughter was still out there — trapped in an alternate dimension. And too find her, all he had to do was sell just a little bit more of his soul to Martin Brenner.
Quote(s):
“My daughter just came back from the dead, nothing makes sense anymore.”
“They threatened Isla, Jim. Isla. They threatened her life.”
“Found you, squirt!”
Theme song(s):
I’ll Be Good by Jaymes Young

State Representative - Michael DiMassa Sentenced to Prison
Tumblr media
Former West Haven Employee and State Representative Michael DiMassa was Sentenced to Prison for Stealing COVID Relief and Other City Funds. Hartford, CT (STL.News) Vanessa Roberts Avery, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that MICHAEL DiMASSA, 32, of West Haven, was sentenced Wednesday by U.S. District Judge Omar A. Williams in Hartford to 27 months of imprisonment, followed five years of supervised release, for his involvement in schemes that resulted in the theft of more than $1.2 million dollars in COVID relief funds and other funds from the City of West Haven.  Judge Williams also ordered DiMassa to perform 100 hours of community service while on supervised release. According to court documents and statements made in court, DiMassa was a Connecticut State Representative who was also employed by the City of West Haven, most recently serving as the Administrative Assistant to the City Council.  In April 2020, the State of Connecticut was allocated money by the U.S. Department of the Treasury through the Coronavirus Relief Fund (“CRF”), which was established by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (“CARES Act”) for the purpose of helping local governments pay costs incurred in responding to the COVID-19 pandemic.  From July 2020 through September 2021, the City of West Haven received approximately $1,150,257 in financial assistance from this fund.  DiMassa, who was authorized to approve the designated relief funds for the reimbursement of COVID-related expenditures incurred by West Haven, conspired with others to steal these funds and other West Haven funds through the submission of fraudulent invoices, and subsequent payment for COVID relief goods and services that were never provided. In one scheme, DiMassa conspired with John Bernardo, who was employed by the City of West Haven as a Housing Specialist in the office of Community Development Administration.  In January 2021, DiMassa and Bernardo formed Compass Investment Group, LLC.  Beginning in February 2021, Compass Investment Group LLC fraudulently billed the City of West Haven and its “COVID-19 Grant Department” for consulting services purportedly provided to the West Haven Health Department that were not performed.  From February 2021 through September 2021, the City of West Haven paid Compass Investment Group a total of $636,783.70.  DiMassa made several large cash withdrawals from the Compass Investment Group LLC bank account, some of which were made shortly before or after he made a large cash “buy-in” of gaming chips at the Mohegan Sun Casino. DiMassa also conspired with his now wife, Lauren DiMassa, formerly known as Lauren Knox, through the submission of numerous fraudulent invoices to West Haven for services related to a Youth Violence Prevention Program and for Youth Violence COVID-19 Associated Expenses.  These invoices listed charges for in-home counseling, cleaning supplies, special needs hourly service, wi-fi assistance for low/moderate-income families, counseling services, license fees, a fall youth clinic, meals, support group supplies, equipment rental, and youth clinic support group.  West Haven made at least 16 payments totaling approximately $147,776.10 to Lauren DiMassa, who never provided any services to the City of West Haven. In a third scheme, DiMassa conspired with John Trasacco, of West Haven, through the submission of fraudulent invoices from L & H Company and JIL Sanitation Services, two companies controlled by Trasacco, to West Haven for goods and services, including thousands of units of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), HVAC maintenance at multiple municipal locations, COVID supplies for the Board of Education, and cleaning services for various municipal and school buildings, including one school building that had been vacant and abandoned for several years.  Trasacco’s companies received approximately $431,982 through this scheme. Judge Williams ordered Michael DiMassa to pay $856,844.45 in restitution. Judge Williams noted the sentence takes into account extensive testimony DiMassa provided during Trasacco’s trial. DiMassa was arrested on October 20, 2021.  On November 1, 2022, he pleaded guilty to three counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. DiMassa, who is released on a $250,000 bond, is required to report to prison on July 31. On June 14, 2022, Bernardo pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.  On March 22, 2023, he was sentenced to 13 months of imprisonment and ordered to pay $58,927.25 in restitution. On July 14, 2022, Lauren DiMassa pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.  On March 23, 2023, she was sentenced to six months of imprisonment and ordered to pay $147,776 in restitution. On December 2, 2022, a jury found Trasacco guilty of one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and one count of wire fraud.  On April 3, 2023, he was sentenced to 96 months of imprisonment and ordered to pay $143,994 in restitution. This matter was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development – Office of Inspector General for Investigations.  The case was prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Ray Miller and David Sheldon. Examining the sources of the Plymouth Colony Pages [Part 11]
Henry Edwards Scott, Vital Records of Bridgewater Massachusetts to the Year 1850, 2 Vols. (Boston: New England Historic Genealogical Society, 1916).
Like the other volumes of this type, this is also on the Internet Archive currently in vol 1 and vol 2.  Considering the role of the Packards in Bridgewater, the number of results I expected to be in a high amount. Already the book rests on, apart from transcription of vital records, as noted on page 8:
[a] private record, from the Jacob Perkins family Bible, in the possession of Dr. Calvin Pratt of Bridgewater...[a] private record, from a Packard family Bible, now in the possession of Harrison D. Packard of Bridgewater...[a] private record, from a Packard family Bible, now in the possession of Harrison D. Packard of Bridgewater
The following births happened in Bridgewater:
Job Packard Bartlett born to Susanna (Packard?) and Samuel Bartlet on Jan 22, 1764 (p 41)
Samuel K. Cleveland born to Mary Packard in 1823 (p 75)
Lucy Drake or"Drake Alice [sic, alias] Packard," d. Sarah Packard (p 91)
Lydia H. Drew was the grandmother Cyrus Morton Packard (p 92)
A person named "Packard ford" born in 1783 (p 120)
Martha Howard, later named Martha Packard (pp 170)
Avery Keith related to a "Chloe K. Packard" (p 181)
Sarah Packard Lovell born in 1807 (p 221)
Cyrus M.D. Morton was the grandfather of Cyrus Morton Packard (p 233)
Harriet Pool married Jesse Packard (p 263)
Susanna Packard Williams born in 1787 (p 351)
And births of all sorts of Packards from pages 237-250:

What about the second volume? There are 404 matches for the word "Packard"within the book, which is WAY too many to list here. It does show the staying power of the Packards in Bridgewater without a doubt.
Henry Edwards Scott, Vital Records of East Bridgewater Massachusetts to the Year 1850 (Boston: New England Historic Genealogical Society, 1917).
Already covered this earlier. This record is no different from what was mentioned in the previous section.
Note: This was originally posted on Apr. 27, 2018 on the main Packed with Packards WordPress blog (it can also be found on the Wayback Machine here). My research is still ongoing, so some conclusions in this piece may change in the future.

Female Dancer, Elie Nadelman, 1920, Art Institute of Chicago: American Art
“Is Nadelman serious?” asked a writer for the New York World in 1919. “Are these things art, or only insolence?” This indignation stemmed from the fact that Elie Nadelman’s sculptures depicted people in contemporary dress, rather than the classical drapery used by most sculptors at the time. Nadelman garbed the figure of Female Dancer in a short dress and high heels, evoking the entertainments of the modern city. Female Dancer twirled into the Roaring Twenties with whimsy and charm, among the attributes that made Nadelman one of the most celebrated American modernist sculptors of the early 20th century. Christ Carrying the Cross, Sebastiano del Piombo, 1515, Art Institute of Chicago: European Painting and Sculpture
This painting by represents one of the most popular compositions invented by one of the most distinguished painters working in Rome during the High Renaissance. In the 1510s, following an early period in Venice, Sebastiano del Piombo traveled to Rome, where he was drawn into the lively atmosphere of competition between the two great luminaries of the period, Michelangelo Buonarroti and Raphael. Michelangelo took Sebastiano under his wing, teaching him his monumental style and providing drawings for some of Sebastiano’s major commissions. Following Raphael’s death in 1520, the painter and historian Giorgio Vasari stated that“first place in the art of painting was unanimously granted by all, thanks to the favor of Michelangelo, to Sebastiano.” Christ Carrying the Cross draws upon recent developments of an enormously popular iconography by artists including Giovanni Bellini, Giorgione, and Andrea Mantegna, among others. Here, Simon of Cyrene assists Jesus, emphasizing the heavy weight of the cross on his shoulders. A Roman soldier stands behind, his jeering face just visible in the darkness. In the background, the tightly packed composition opens up onto a crowd assembling at the foot of the hill of Golgotha, with two crosses barely visible. The luminous landscape is a hallmark of the artist’s Venetian training. The painting’s dramatic visual impact is a result of the powerful diagonals of the cross; the dynamic, almost sculptural quality of Christ’s clothing; and the pathos of his expression. The popularity of Sebastiano’s composition is reflected in the number of surviving variants that he created over the course of his career. The Art Institute’s version is an autograph replica of a painting—now in the Museo del Prado, Madrid—made for Jerónimo Vich y Valterra, the Spanish ambassador to Rome. Other versions survive in the State Hermitage Museum, Saint Petersburg; the Monasterio de las Descalzas Reales, Madrid; and the Szépmüvészeti Múzeum, Budapest. Chapter 01: Chocolate and Trains
Somewhere, chugging along the tracks of the English meadows and hills, was a scarlet red steam engine that carried three teenagers starting their fifth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Those three teenagers are named Evanna Chase, Avery Thomas, and Summer Williams. Those three teenagers were also currently having a conversation about the best kind of chocolate from Honeydukes sweet shop in Hogsmede.
"So, I was thinking," Summer Williams started.
"Oh, here we go." Avery scoffed while rolling his eyes.
"Oh, hush, Ave," she said. "Look, I was thinking that the 75% dark with caramel and sea salt is the best bec-"
"No, it is not," Avery said looking at Summer like she grew a horn out of her head. "What is wrong with you Summer? Are you ill?"
"No I am not ill, you piece of dragon dung," she said.
"Dragon DUNG?!" Avery stood up and reached for his wand. "I'll show you dragon dung!"
"Hey! Hey, hey, hey!" Evanna stood up to intervene because she knew that if she didn't now, she would regret it later. "What the hell, you two?"
You might be wondering, 'Aren't they best friends? Why are they bickering like an old married couple?'. Well, here's the thing, They are best friends, but like most, sometimes you can find them fighting over small things. For example, chocolate.
"Reminder: We are BEST FRIENDS, okay?" Evanna said, looking at them like a mother reprimanding her children would. "Remember that." She sighed and she, Summer, and Avery all sat back down and were silent. Evanna often found herself breaking up her best friend's fights. In a way, she was a mother. Avery opened back up the book he was reading before the whole 'chocolate' conversation. Hogwarts A History. He had read this book multiple times already but it was one of his favorites. Summer entertained herself with polishing the new broom she got so she could try out for the quidditch team again. Summer had been on the Hufflepuff Quidditch team since the second year and she was the team seeker. And yes, she was good.
Then, the silence was broken by everyone's favorite Hufflepuff boy coming into the compartment. Jack Pillsbury.
"Hey, guys! Hey Summer! How are you, darling?" He went to go sit by Summer and he put his arm around her shoulders. Summer flushed as red as Lily Evans's hair.
"Hi," she said, her voice small. She wasn't usually like this but both Avery and Evanna knew it was the doings of Jack. Jack smiled. He knew too. And he loved it.
"Hey, Jack." Evanna smiled and high-fived him.
"Jack." Avery acknowledged, not looking up from his book, due to him seeing Jack only a few hours prior. They basically lived together.
After listening to the background chatter of other students passing by in the halls, and hearing the joy and excitement of the first years, Summer ended up falling asleep on Jack's shoulder, and let's just say that Jack, yeah, he was pretty happy.
"Look!" he mouthed pumping his fist in the air, making Summer stir. "Oop."
After that, he was quiet so he didn't actually wake her up.
About twenty minutes later, a ruckus of noise came from the hallway right outside the compartment. Summer woke up. Jack glared out of the window of the compartment. The Marauders. Everyone in Evanna's compartment, including Evanna herself, groaned openly knowing something was about to happen, whether good or not.
Surprisingly, nothing banged, exploded, or collapsed. They were safe.
Suddenly, someone poked their head into the compartment. Lily Evans.
"Hey, Evie! Hey, Summer! Jack!" she exclaimed. She then looked over to Avery who has been openly ogling. "Hey, Avery." She sent a dazzling smile over to him and Evanna almost felt kinda bad for the poor guy.
"H-hey, um, Lily," he responded. Well, tried to, at least.
She giggled her perfect giggle and said, "Well, I saw you guys as I was passing by and I just wanted to say 'Hi'." Everyone except Avery noticed the way her eyes subtly glanced at him.
"Lilly- Flower!" they heard a voice shout in the hall. "Where are youuuu?"
Everyone immediately recognized the voice, as it belonged to the one and only James Potter.
"There you are, Gorgeous!" he ran up to Lily and swung an arm around her shoulder, which she politely but forcibly removed.
"Hello, Potter," she said through gritted teeth.
Avery went back to reading his book with a sigh and a glare. Lily noticed. She frowned a bit making a small 'v' form between her beautifully and effortlessly formed ginger brow.
"Hello, everyone!" James waved happily not seeming to notice Lily and Avery's small engagement.
"I was just leaving, James," Lily told him. "But I'm going to go find Marlene, Mary, and Dorcas. M'kay?"
"That's alright, Love." He responded. Avery gritted his teeth and Jack, who could hear it all the way across the compartment, raised his eyebrows. "Alright, bye, everyone!" And he left with Lily and the compartment was silent again.
"Ave, do want to talk about it?" Evanna asked, concerned that her friend's jaw was about to bruise from how hard he was clenching it.
"What's there to talk about, Evie?" He asked through his teeth.
"You know." She answered, hoping he would understand.
"No, actually, I don't know," he responded now getting noticeably more frustrated. "That's why I'm asking you, Evanna."
"Okay, okay," she said putting her hands up in surrender. "Look, I'm sorry. I was just trying to help."
Avery sighed in defeat and slumped in his seat. His jaw released most of the tension, and everyone who was tense, relaxed. Summer was wide awake now, but Jack laid down and fell asleep on her lap. She looked surprised, then flushed a bright red, then relaxed. Hesitantly, she ran her hand through his fluffy, brunette hair. This time, it was Jack's turn to flush red.
Evanna, feeling like a proud mother, took a nap on Avery, who was calmed down and back to reading his book.
