You laughed out loud at your closest friend, Calla's jokes as she told you a few funny ones that she found on social media.

She told you a joke that you loved the most and it made your stomach hurt from laughing so hard with your cheeks from smiling also.

You then sobered up and shook your head to yourself in disbelief. "Gosh, you just know how to crack me up." You said and also made your friend laugh.

"Well, I try to." She shrugged.

All of a sudden, her phone rang and she picked it up within a second with a scared look on her face visibly.

You noticed it and slightly frowned as you took a sip of your coffee. Before she hanged up, she stammered and quickly packed up her stuff.

"Is something going on?" You asked her and watched her stand up with a bag over her shoulder.

"I'm so sorry, Y/N. But Mark is in a coma after a car accident." She explained and you widened your eyes in shock.

Mark was from the Winnipeg Jets and had introduced you to his younger sister who happens to be your friend soon after all. And as you just found out that he was in a coma broke your heart. You knew how close Calla and Mark were ever since they grew up together. She even had mentioned that he was her hero and her superstar as everything she supported him.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. Um, do you need me to go with you?" You asked her and she quickly shook her head.

"No, it's fine. I'll go by myself. See you later, Y/N." She rambled on and left without giving you a chance to talk back.

You nodded and watched her exit the cafe as you took another sip of your cup. You swallowed hard and grabbed out ten bucks on the counter before standing up.

"I should go too." You said under your breath and grabbed your bag.

As you also exited the cafe, you headed to your car and stammered the engine as you wanted to go home and see your boyfriend of nine years.

You and Pierre were teenagers — fourteen when you two met and had started dating after being friends about a week later.

You had watched him grow into a boy to a young adult that you were very proud of.

As you two lived currently live in Winnipeg due to your boyfriend's job, you didn't like it for some reason. You felt like Columbus was the one for you and Pierre knew it but someday, you two need to get used to it.

Just then as you made it to your house with Pierre, you parked the car and noticed his car parked in the side.

You frowned and unlocked the front door, keeping silent so you could surprise him. As you dropped your bag and headed upstairs, you heard nothing but silence until you heard a faint noise.

The frown on your face came back as you widened your eyes. Stepping closer to the bedroom door each time, you heard a loud noise with a shush noise to it.

You quietly opened the door and gasped in shock. You couldn't believe your eyes until you had realized what was going on.

As you saw your boyfriend and the woman beside him having sex, you stepped close into the room and bit the inside of your cheek to prevent yourself from sobbing in front of him.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" You shouted and glanced at the two in disbelief.

Pierre immediately got his gaze on you and stood up from the bed, putting on his boxers and a t-shirt. "Y/N! I can explain!" He rushed to you.

You scoffed. "You fucking pervert!" You slapped him across the face to the side and then slapped the girl behind him as hard as you could.

"Get the fuck out of here!" You yelled at her and she wasted no time, picking up her stuff.

As she left with a loud slam, you looked at Pierre in disbelief and disgust.

"Is this what you've been doing behind my back?" You asked him as you crossed your arms, waiting for him to go on when he had his mouth open.

"Y/N, I can explain!" He reached his hand to my arm and repeated the words once again but you pulled back, giving him your death glare that he hated.

"Don't fucking touch me with your dirty hand. Explain! Go on." You warned him and he kept quiet until he ran his other hand in his hair.

"It was a mistake. Please, it-it just happened so fast. I didn't even realize what had happened to me when I found out that woman wasn't you. I-I only wanted you, Y/N. Only you. But I fucked up. I'm sorry." He explained but you still didn't believe him.

"I can't trust you anymore, Pierre. You cheated on me. You know what happens when someone cheats. They lose trust." You spoke to him with your voice softly as you didn't want to scream anymore. You were so angry, upset and exhausted from everything you've seen and heard. You were feeling a lot of emotions today and had enough. "And that someone is you." You aggressively pushed him on his chest with his finger as he stumbled back with a disappointed look on his face.

"I'm sorry." He mumbled as he kept his gaze on the floor.

"You fucked it up." You grabbed your bags and walked to the front door as you opened it. But you stopped at your movements and slowly looked over your shoulder. "Goodbye, Pierre." You quietly whispered and gave him a look one last time before you went out.

You couldn't believe him. You really thought he was the man for you but he ruined everything for you guys.

When you heard loud footsteps, you frowned and looked behind you, glancing at Pierre with puffy and red face features.

"Y/N, please don't leave me. I love you. Please, please, please don't leave me. I regret it." He sobbed and held my hands, tightening the grip but you shook your head and pulled away.

You later felt the brim of your eyes form tears as you looked at Pierre, sobbing.

"I can't, Pierre. I can't love you anymore. You cheated on me." You reminded him.

He sniffled. "Please, Y/N. I will do whatever you want."

"Do this." You said and caught his attention as he quickly stopped his sobbing. He nodded. "I'm letting you find someone who you truly love. Don't ever cheat on her." You bit the inside of your cheek and clutched your hands tighter around the bag.

"No, baby. I don't want her. I need you. You're my breath, please don't leave me. I won't ever cheat on you, please. I love you so much." He pleaded as a tear slipped and you slightly buckled your cheeks but you kept your confidence.

"Goodbye, Pierre." You lastly said and swallowed hard. As your turned around and clenched your eyes shut, you quietly sobbed.

"I won't forget you, Y/N!" He yelled, making you flutter up your eye-lids and stop your movements suddenly.

A tear slipped on your cheek and you quickly wiped it away as you quivered your chin.

You looked over your shoulder and nodded your head as you told him the last thing before you flew out of the country that you loved from all the memories and the friends you've made for the past years ago. You gave Pierre a dry smile and shook your head. "You should because it's over."
