Love Lock x Minecraft

So there for a while I was experiencing burn out with Love Lock and all I could do was bring myself to play Minecraft, as a result of that I have made a modded Love Lock/Bunny verse world for everyone to explore. Its not finished yet, but here's a few sneak peaks.

The NPC's also interact with you if you click on them.

This is the map of the area each banner is color coded to represent a character, it shows all the locations of them and their scenes.

idk if anyone's asked this already but i was going through some of my old stuff recently and i found the ideas for an original character i made at like. eight. they weren't very comprehensive or creative but they were funny looking so. and it got me thinking, do you remember your very first oc? how did the idea come to you? what happened to them?

Idk man she gets whumped by a vampire, then saved from that encounter by a different vampire who kinda yanderes her specifically so he can trial run being around people without flipping out and killing someone. So like. He saved her and is caretakery, but specifically in that 'well I saved you sooooo it's not as bad if I kill you on accident..right?' kinda way.

Blablabla whatever they fall in love or something and work on finding a cure for both him and his brother (origional whumper vamp guy).

Voila.

Hated that book, but had SO much fun writing it.

I remember writing that first whump scene and I got so high on that feeling. My hands were shaking so hard and my door was locked and it was the dead of night and I was just thriving on those whumperflies. And I thoughht to myself '...this is the stuff I want to find in books and movies. I...I can just..write it myself..?? and it's not bad??? It's really good actaully??' (it was not, but it was GOOD FOR ME).

Anywho, that's my writers origin story. Idk I was like 15. Surprisingly, I'd not gotten into writing before that. The only other short story I'd written was in 7th grade for an assignment and it got published in a magazine after my teacher begged me to let her enter it in a contest and it won like second place?? That one was about a bird who lost her nest. She wasn't really an oc though. I didn't click with her and she didn't have a name, the whole thing was a metaphor.

Ig that should have been my first clue that I like and am good at this, but it wasn't :D

Minecraft Armor Statue Flower/Tree Pot

This is assuming you already have downloaded the mod and created your Statues Book. If not, click here.

What You Need:

Three leaf blocks, one log, one composter + an optional dirt block

This micro-statue requires three armorstands, four if built with dirt.

With the first two leaf blocks placed, I place my first armorstand. On the second page of the book, I selected "Show Arms: Yes"

The current size of the composter, or "pot" is not big enough to support the weight of a small tree! We must go to the "Auto Alignment" page!

We select this button, which will place the Composter as the head-item.

You will now have a bodyless man, with a composter for a head. We will now go to page "Pose Presets" and press "Attention". Armorstands have a big of a curve to them, more specifically their head is slightly tilted down. This fixes it so they can be perfectly alligned.

As this bit is a tad tedious, I choice to place a Lecturn, and put my Statues book on it.

Be sure to stay within a reasonable distance of the stand you're working on. Before I start moving it, I go to "Style Settings" and need to pick two very important options.

"Stand Visible: No" "Apply Gravity: No"

I move to the second page, "Nudge Position". I recommend using a Minihud, to get your coordinates and the direction you're facing. You want the composter to touch the floor. For this, I went ahead and hit "Nudge: Y, -8" 3 times, and Nudge: Y, +3" once.

I am facing positive Z, and using the "Nudge Position" it knows which way I am facing. Therefore, to have it closer to underneath the pot, I hit "Z, +8" once, and "Z, +3" Twice. The amount of times you do this is ENTIRELY situational, but you'll get used to it very quickly.

The most important step: I LOCK it on the Utilities page. It must have a white outline.

I think this looks good and even, so I move on. Next is the log.

I do NOT flip to head. I instead select "Block on ground". Due to my wall, there was a shading error, as the Armorstand clipped with it. I was able to move away and face towards the Dark Oak Log wall, and the Stripped Birch had no effect.

I adjusted with the Nudge Position settings until I felt it was in the middle, with a little bit of space not quite touching the Leaf block.

It would look different if you didn't have the Bushier Bush resourcepack. And even with it, I don't quite like how it looks. So, I LOCK the second armorstand.

Adjust until satisfied. LOCK IT!!

Adding Dirt would be the same process, but personally I enjoy it without!

Ted x reader (they/them)

The room was quiet aside from Ted. He had spent the last few minutes clicking around his monitor set up, launching the right games, making sure his camera was on and working, and that his mic was picking up sound correctly. It was almost ready for him to fully stream, except for one thing.

Ted pulled his cellphone out of his pocket and unlocked the device, searching through for his most recent text chain with his lover, y/n. No one outside of a specific few knew Ted was even dating someone, much less his entire fan base. And with how rarely Ted streamed? Him and y/n had both agreed long ago that if y/n was ever going to appear on stream, it wasn’t going to be for a while.

Ted typed quickly into the text bar, telling y/n he was going to start streaming momentarily. They were at the grocery store right now, and most likely wouldn’t see the text until they got in the car, but it was still better than leaving them unaware.

With the text sent, Ted turned full attention back to the monitors and began the stream, allowing Twitch to fully take in his face. Ted smiled as he watched the chat fill in, flooding the side of his live screen.

“Hi guys! Look at all of you.” Some familiar user names filled in as well. Ted leaned back in his chair a bit and stared into the camera, creating eye contact with the thousands of people watching. “Welcome to shit show.”

In the span of almost three seconds, Ted heard the front door fly open and shut, and someone run down the hall to the room he was streaming in. Ted meant to stand up and check the door, maybe mute his mic or turn his camera off, something. But too fast, y/n burst through the door and jumped into his lap, wrapping their arms around him and giggling into his ear.

“Ted. Help me with groceries.”

Ted glanced over their shoulder nervously, watching as the chat moved even faster. “I’m kind of in the middle of something.”

“Oh what?”

“Wait no-“

y/n looked back to see the recording set up on Ted’s monitors. “Oh cool what game are you recording. Minecraft? Or is it more Fiver stuff?”

“No. I’m not recording.”

“Then what are you—? Oh. Oh no.” y/n turned back to Ted with the realization washing over their face. “You’re live. You didn’t tell me! Oh god how long have you been live for.”

“Only a few minutes. I texted you!”

“Obviously not.” y/n snatched Ted’s phone off the desk and searched through his recent texts. They pulled up their most recent messages with him, noting that he had fully typed out the message without sending it.

“Shit. I’m sorry.” Ted glanced back to the monitors. “Well. Either you can sneak out or say hi.”

“I think sneak. I still have groceries in the car.”

“Okay. See you later.” Ted kissed y/n on the cheek as they snuck off of Ted’s lap and out of frame. Ted watched them walk away and then turned back to read the chat. Ted tracked y/n with his eyes as they shut the door, then turned back to his live chat.

“I can explain myself.” Ted watched the donations cue fill with messages, and thankfully his mods held them back. “That was my partner. They… yeah. That’s y/n.” Ted watched more messages go by. “No— no you can’t have y/n. They are mine, thank you. No you can’t their number either! Or their snap! Guys-“ Ted chuckled to himself, rubbing his forehead with his hands. “I understand you’re upset, and I’ll formally introduce them later. Guys!”

y/n listened from the other side of the door. They leaned against the frame, stifling laughs into their hand. Hearing Ted try and calm his audience was hilarious. They sank further against the door, devolving into giggles.

y/n fell back against the hardwood floors as the door opened. Ted stood over y/n lying on the floor, smiling down at them. “What’s going on over here?”

“Are you still live?” y/n spoke in a hushed manner.

“No. I left.”

“Okay. Well I’m bullying you.”

“Ugh. Loser activity.”

“Loser activity? I just bought your groceries!”

“Our groceries.“

“Whatever. I guess I’ll just return them.”

“No wait-“ Ted laughed as y/n got up, him wrapping them in his arms and pulling close. “I’m joking.”

“I know I know.” y/n accepted the embrace, leaning back into him. “I didn’t mean to mess up your stream.”

“It’s fine. It was bound to happen at some point.”

y/n chewed at the side of their mouth. “Is your fan base upset?”

“Very. They want to take you from me.”

“I’ll let them if they help me take in the groceries.”

“They did ask me for your number.”

“I’ll give it to them.” y/n shrugged. “Maybe then someone will help me take in the groceries.”

“I was gonna help you bring them in!”

“No. You’re taking to long.” y/n wriggled around in Ted’s arms, pushing him off until they were able to walk down the hall. Ted followed dote-fully behind, watching as y/n went to open the front door and retrieve the groceries.

Hello, my name is Yupphire and I'm currently looking for new players for BlendedSMP, our community-focused Minecraft server. I started this server back in 2022 so I could play Minecraft with my friends. After a several month long hiatus, I am happy to announce that BlendedSMP is BACK! Why Join BlendedSMP?

The main draw of our server is that we use Geyser, which is a plugin that allows Java and Bedrock clients to play on the same server. Regardless of which version you and your friends have, you'll be able to play on BlendedSMP together (hence the name, BlendedSMP). If you're wondering what else is in store, here is a list of all the features BlendedSMP has to offer!

- Our server is very LGBTQ+, meaning BlendedSMP will always be a great safe space and community for those who are LGBTQ+

- We are on the new 1.20 update! You can enjoy all of the new features from 1.20 on BlendedSMP.

- We use a variety of different hand-picked datapacks and crafting tweaks from Vanilla Tweaks, to enhance the Vanilla experience without the use of mods or other plugins. Because of our commitment to the Vanilla experience, you will never see plugins such as MCMMO or Vein Miner that drastically modify Vanilla gameplay.

- We use DiscordSRV to further connect the Discord server with the Minecraft server by allowing members of the Discord server to communicate with those on the Minecraft server, and vice versa.

- To prevent and undo potential griefing, we use CoreProtect so we can rollback any damage done by potential griefers.

How Do I Join BlendedSMP?

On our Discord server, we have an application process you'll need to go through in order to be whitelisted on the server, which can be found in #whitelist-application in the Discord server. It simply involves you answering a few questions about yourself. The application is designed for us to get to know you and see if you're a good fit for our server. We don't expect an essay but we expect a few sentences at the very least. However, please note that we do not allow users under 15 years old to join BlendedSMP.

I just want to let all you A03 users & writers know that there’s been scammers on ao3. And this is all about my own thoughts on the matter and the parts where I poke holes in the scam comment.

Recently, i got a comment on one of my wip fics, that only has 1 chapter on it. And this will be a long post so beware. I’ll cut it in two paras.

Formality in a Comment?

My first thought, like other people, was that this is too formal for a fan fiction comment; this was formatted as an email from some sketchy person and/or bot. And this is obviously not my email.

2. No Specifics This comment did not name any specifics of this so-called Discord group, or who to contact (discord admin, mod, whatever they’re called, or otherwise)

2.1 Who’s in Charge?

For example: they did not name what the group is called, or when it was founded.

3. There are HOW MANY? Original Writers?

This person also stated that there was over TEN THOUSAND original writers. So let’s dissect that statement some more.

3.1 How would they manager?

I find it hard to believe that a Discord group with that many members is manageable in any way. And while I know that there are some groups that will have over 1,000 members. 10,000 members just seems…fake.

3.2 So many members, feels random.

And while 10,000 may be an alluring number, like with money, or ratings (like the 10,000/10 would recommend)

I do not find 10,000 other people, who may or may not be active, alluring. It would feel competitive. Like vying for attention, and bumping shoulders with the crowd to even get a crumb of advice.

I feel that—in my own opinion—smaller supportive communities are the way to go.

3.3 Original Writers? You came to the wrong place.

Original writers. Hun. This story you commented on is fan fiction. Specifically Hermitcraft SMP. A fandom about some silly Minecraft YouTubers that make fans giggle, froth, get feral, and sink our jaws into their minute or extensive lore and characters for fluff or angst.

3.3.1 Seriously. Wrong place

This story is FAN FICTION, if you wanted more OG Writers, go look in the OG Fiction filter/tab.

4. No regards for my feedback of this offer

Like other people have pointed out, this ‘person’ immediately distributed their discord link into my comments without feedback.

5. Exposed link in my comments, no safety

Literally anyone could have joined that discord (if we believed it was real) and could have tried scamming or corrupting or hacking the ‘10,000’ writers who may or may not be using that discord for their personal info, like data or credit cards.

6. You put a discord invite into a total stranger’s fic

Need I say more?

Why would a complete stranger put an entire. Discord invite into another complete stranger’s comments on a—primarily—Fan fiction website?

7. Where is the common sense?

If this was real, why would you knowingly share an invite to a stranger, where not just that specific Stranger could join, but literally any rando who stumbled upon that story.

7.1 Why would anyone trust you again

again if this was real, and i was apart of this ‘writing community’ why would I ever trust the person who blatantly exposed the invite to strangers unknown.

IF I was apart of that group I would inform everyone and high tail it the heck out of dodge so my info wouldn’t get compromised.

8. Nearly done now.

The comment ended with, “best, []”

There was no real username that signed off this note. No ways to contact this commenter. Clearly this comment was fake.

9. Checking the source

After I found this comment I read it, and thought, “yep, this is scam.”

And promptly opened up a fresh Ao3 tab, went to the work with this comment and tried clicking on the username.

and guess what? It didn’t work.

So then I tried searching for it, straight up, in Ao3 search. And there was nothing to find.

who would have thought, huh?

10.FINAL THOUGHTS

THIS IS FAKE, DO NOT USE THE INVITE, DO NOT TRUST SHIT LIKE THIS.

and REPORT THEM.

11. REPORT THESE SCAMMERS.

and don’t just mark them as spam in your work! This will not go to a real person! It will get looked at by an algorithm, I think

you have to actually report them to get it to stop happening.

What kinda gamer is ThatLuckyBear?

This is a long post. So I'm into video games maybe a bit too much. Here's what I like:

Tetris + Dr. Mario (puzzle games): Core to my gaming spirit. I like to do speedruns of 0-21 on Dr. Mario 64 and I've been known to play 0-20 on Dr. Mario for the NES as well. I loved Tetris since NES but fell back in love with Tetris DS and now I mostly just do sprints on tetr.io. I'm also a 8 chain Puyo-Puyo scrub and I like the game but lack the energy to get better at it. Since this is kind of in the vein of puzzle solving the Ace Attorney games as well as oldschool Point and Click adventure games are wonderful for me as well.

Soulslike: These are all fun. I haven't played most of them though. Dark Souls 1 and Bloodborne are my favs and I've put a lot of time into Elden Ring but Miquella shut down my run and I haven't had time to grind it out. I'll finish it eventually though.

Metroidvania: Huge fan of the genre. Hollowknight is my favorite at time of writing but Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow is an ultra banger and I would have a hard time not mentioning it. I've played all the DS Castlevanias and I love them all.

Schlooters: Looting and shooting is fun. I play coop with my wife and we really enjoy Borderlands. We also had a good time with Outriders. Destiny 2 has been kinda tough to get into but we're trying to get a feel for it before investing any money.

MMORPGS: I've been doing these since 2003 if you can believe it. I was playing Ragnarok Online pre-beta by sneaking onto jRO. I really hit the road running with the iRO beta. Since then I've put a lot of love into Tera Online (Elin berserker just tickles my "hehe" bone, I had a popo too but Elin was the best imo) - I enjoyed FFXIV (Lala paladin) but it's too expensive for me to keep up with the monthly. I really wanna finish FFXIV's story someday. Phantasy Star Online, and Dungeon Fighter Online get a honorable mention but I really haven't had a chance to be in love with them since my MMO muscles are weak and my gaming time short in my age.

RPGS: Classic and modern I'm a big fan of RPGS. I've fallen in love with Dragon Quest recently although it was one of the first RPGS I played (Dragon Warrior NES.) I remember looking through Nintendo Power Magazine and looking at the illustrations and descriptions of the weapons and just getting SO JAZZED. Anyway Super Mario RPG is the best RPG of all time followed by Pokemon Blue/Red would be my call. I love modern Pokemon games but I haven't spent much time with others.

Action RPG: Monster Hunter, Yakuza (love but never played much,) Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil (2/4/7) and so many more. I'm a hunting horn main and I am head over heels for Monster Hunter and will always love it.

Competitive: I like to compete but I don't do it much because I have /emotional issues/ and I can't keep my lid on proper. That said I really have a great time playing Smash Ultimate (not a Melee guy sorry it's too hard for me) Street Fighter, Tekken, Granblue VS, and Smash are kind of the only ones I like playing these days. While I used to do a lot of FPS competitives I'm boycotting Actiblizzard so no COD or Overwatch til they remove Bobby Kotick. Valorant is too hard and time consuming but I love it (I'm bad at it sadly.) I might play Fortnite someday but idk if I'll get into it.

the COMF: I love some comfy games. Some of the above fit that category for me (Pokemon Red/Blue to be specific) but Stardew, Animal Crossing, anything Wholesome games, Minecraft, Stray etc. Anything that can make me sleepy usually fits me well.

Platformers: I get into some 3d mario games. I especially enjoyed Odyssey. I kind of get most of my platforming jazz out of the metroidvania stuff but I couldn't get through this without mentioning how much the 3d (and 2d for that matter) mario games matter to me.

There's obviously millions more games that I forgot and couldn't touch on. Day of Defeat was a formative competitive shooter experience as well as all the other HL1 mods I played. I could go on forever but I hope this helps you understand what kind of gamer I am. While I'm pretty eclectic in taste I'm also pretty formulated. These days I spend most of my time trying to find coop experiences to have with my wife so lmk if you've got some cool ones I should look into. 🧡
