Hey dear friends! I haven't mentioned it much, but for the past few years, I have been an admin on a Minecraft server called Atrium.

Atrium is a small lovingly crafted server that was until recently invite only. We have many customizations including a magic system, trading system, quest system, pantheon, custom dimensions, and more all made by our wonderful owner and admins.

With interest in it growing substantially, we have decided to open Atrium to the public. While we are between iterations, a new one is about to start in 2024 and we would love to see some new faces!

Atrium is a safe space for people to join and have fun. We are also an LGBTQ-safe server and enforce our safety and behavior policies accordingly. The atrium is made for a variety of play styles from casual to expert. As long as you play kindly, you can play with us.

Looking for players interested in Building and Adventuring! ive recently set up a somewhat lightly modded minecraft server using a custom map for the Terrain rather than a mod. The server is open to all, more info can be found on our discord here

the server is using the fabulously optimized modpack from the modrinth launcher along with a few other mods to enhance travel and gameplay. if exploring the vast landscape gets boring theres places amongst the stars to travel to as with the mod, Ad Astra.

the gorgeous landscape of the server has Numerous wonderful places to settle down and build empires or cities of all sorts. all of these lovely veiws are thanks to The Sixth Realm, made by Honest Soul.

due to the whopping size of the world(20k by 20k) waystones have been placed about the world near some lovely spots for newcomers to start at. as the server grows (and i get around to it) the currently waystones will be shifted around to player settlements only. this will be to encourage players to travel and explore via boat or horseback. both have been enhanced with mods

If you're a visibly queer person or have any self respect as a queer person, stay away from the Hive's discord server. I've had a handful of bad experiences with literal bigots there, one of which ended with me getting muted for defending myself. Just... be careful; I've been under repeated stress because of this shit, and eventually just fucking left due to the mute and the sheer injustice of it all.

Every single occurrence was nothing short of a hatecrime, and I low-key feel as though my mute was fueled by hatred, as well (though I cannot prove the latter statement). I've sent an email to their support team, but I doubt much will come out of it: I've been let down, and no longer have much respect for the staff. In fact, I expect that if this is found and my identity is revealed, I'll get banned from their Minecraft server. That's what they focus on: silencing and covering shit up.

I was told by non-staff members that I was being obnoxious, that it wasn't 'that deep' and that I was just victimizing myself for attention, and I was called racist by a fellow queer person. All of this happened because I defended my right to exist and refused to accept somebody not supporting me for whatever reason. What my mute tells me is that staff will indeed side with these kinds of people...

..This may come off as spiteful. I don't care: I'm allowed to be spiteful, I'm allowed to feel betrayed, and I was allowed to defend myself. Thank you for reading.
