UNDERRATED MUSICAL SONG:

Wonderful from wicked. WE DONT TALK ABOUT THIS ENOUGH- AND IT NEEDS TO BE BROUGHT UP!!! It’s like this lense into the regular world that Dorothys from- and it’s rlly the only time in the show we see it directly referenced- AND ITS AMAZING?!

The wizard is a character that’s filled with depth and very human thoughts and feelings in a way that is very reflective- to me at least. He saw the untruth, pain, and how hopeless it was for him in his world and when confronted with a community of people who look up to him he felt a certain amount of responsibility for them- BUT instead of reversing the wrongs of the officials where he was from, he BASICALLY DID THE EXACT SAME THING?!

Now think of all the people with a platform, politically OR socially and how they handled rising power.

I’m not very smart I just think WE REALLY NEED RO TALK ABOUT IT AND IM HAPPY TO START THE CONVERSATION!! :)
