Knowing He’s ‘The One’

Some of my friends asked me, “How do you know he’s ‘the one?’”

Honest to God, I don’t. I don’t know if he’s going to cheat on me (amit-amit) in the future. Kayaknya ga ada yang bener-bener bisa jamin itu. I don’t know what kind of trouble we are heading to in the future of our relationship.

Malah menurut gue, sejujur-jujurnya, yang bikin ‘sreg’ itu dari hal-hal yang sederhana. Dari selera humor kita (ini penting karena gue receh), sampe selera musik atau film.

I guess I can say that he doesn’t make me wonder. Back then, I used to wonder, “Will I find someone better?” or “Can anyone love me better than the way he treats me now?” karena gue ngerasa, “Kok gue usaha banget deh ampe cape sendiri” sedangkan cowo itu kayak ga ada effort. Marah, ya nge-block semua chat dan socmed lah. Dia yang salah, gue yang minta maaf. Jujur, tahap itu lieur pisan.

And if you had to wonder, secara otomatis pasti ada naluri yang ngasi kode ke lo. Klise sih, tapi dulu tuh hati kecil gue emang udah ngerasa kalo cowo ini bukan jadi orang yang bakalan end up sama gue. Deep down I knew I should find someone better, but was too afraid. Who tells you the truth, even when it’s hard. Who doesn’t leave even when you’re pushing them away (karena kadang gue ngerasa gue ga layak mendapatkan kasih sayang yang segininya, jadi kadang kayak, “Duh, paan si, udah sana pasti ada yang lebih baik buat lo” gitu loh). 

Takarannya gini deh: “Ni orang lebih banyak bikin gue seneng apa sedih ye?” Kalo jawabannya sedih, yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...
