Tony: I’m a little worried about leaving Peter for a day completely alone.
Steve: your son will be alright, Stark. It’s only for one day, bedsides Peter is 16!
*two hours later*
Peter, calling Mr.Stark: are you really busy?
Tony: kid, what happened?
Peter: promise not to be mad.
Tony: I can’t promise you that.
Peter: then I can’t tell you what have happened.
Tony: okay, I promise not to be mad. Just tell me!
Peter, breathing heavily: okay I kind of created a new version of Starkpad, because how the hell you don’t have Star Wars themed Starkpad?? then Ned accidentally bought Mcdonalds, like a company, then we were panicking and we needed something to distract us so we sorted all Pepper’s paperwork, hired two interns and fired five, oh and also we gave all the workers three days off and took over one Stark Industries department, now I’m kind of it’s president.
Steve: WTF
Clint: WTF
Fury: WTF
Tony: The audacity! don’t shout at my kid? Go do your work! It’s okay, Pete, my main concern is, are you alright?
Peter, almost soundless whispering: also I broke your cup with our faces on it
Tony: you did WHAT
Peter: I’M SORRY BUT WHY DID YOU LEAVE IT UNDER ONE OF YOUR COSTUMES??
Tony, gasping: omg I need some time alone I don’t know if I will be able to forgive you. MY PRECIOUS CUP
Peter, stressing out: I’M SORRY
*one second later*
Tony: okay, I forgive you but on Christmas I want the exact same copy. And also the next time I will leave you alone rather buy Burger King rather than McDonald’s. I love their burgers more

Mav bringing Ice home all like: so I don’t know how to tell you this but my family can’t know
Ice: well I wasn’t planning to advertise our homosexual relationship, I’m not an idiot
Mav: Oh! Nah, it’d be pretty hypocritical lol
Ice: WTF
Mav: I meant the whole—using a jet to shoot other jets down for navy… maybe just say you…make porn? I feel like they’d respect that more.
Ice: WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU

@auuwmk okay so. the content has been revised already and i'm getting this all secondhand from tweets so i may be missing some context. i am taking this information from the linked tweet threads please read it because it'll explain this better than i do
originally, kaizenix's base genre was 'romance fantasy'.
kim dokja was saying that yuri had been performing her role as a rofan protag by being the fiancee of the first prince, but then hsy came and escapes the genre by... making yuri become king (instead of the queen married to the king)? the thing is, there are female protagonists in rofans who do become king. yuri holding a position of power is not breaking out of the genre :/
then han sooyoung says the phrase 'a romance fantasy without romance won't be popular'. a romance fantasy without romance... is just fantasy. but.
it seems the romance fantasy genre in the first place was created due to male readers bitching about female leads having romance in a fantasy story, pushing the stories away into the romance genre and leading to the creation of the rofan genre to keep a distinction from other romances. but then there was a problem with 'romance fantasies without romance' still being labled as romance fantasy just because there's a female lead.
there's something to think about when there are so many fantasy stories with male protags having a romantic interest or even entire harems but the it isn't labeled romance. but when the protagonist is a woman...
there were revisions trying to fix the issues readers had, but eventually they just removed the romance part of kaizenix's original genre entirely (leaving it just as fantasy). they were very apologetic over this whole situation in the author's notes for the chapters this occured in [ep 72 (5) + (6)]

oc time again! + her town & culture (heavily inspired by pre-roman italic populations)
she is suri sauthon (later suri laran, after her marriage). her story is linked to my swtor imperial agent, but most of her life for like. the one year away where she meets him, is spent in a town in the mountains of mirial.
despite mirial being cold and desert, and many cities developing underground, her town flourishes thanks to a force nexus, venerated in the form of an ancient, sacred, alive crystal. the ecosystem of that mountain depended on what "the horned crystal" was capable of giving them, but mirialans couldn't live off of that alone, so they developed trade and some rudimental technology, even if oftentimes it was bought thanks to the highly profitable trade of a plant used to make medicines that slowed down aging and had overall healing properties.
note: everything that's generated by this nexus has these healing properties BUT they have to be processed, except for those who bathed in the waters of the cavity under the crystal - the "real" nexus, but not the worshipped one. the waters were sacred but they were not thought to be miraculous, unlike the crystal, who instead was thought of as the keystone of the ecosystem: without it, everything would fall apart (and that is partially true: the cavity was the "real" nexus but thanks to the crystal, also strong in the force, the properties were spread all over the mountains). those who bathed in the cavity's waters - so, all of the town, who had a sort of baptism there - could eat the plant, make whatever food with it, and not only that plant, but everything generated by the nexus, that, again, had similar properties. this allowed people to live up to normal life-spans without advanced medicines or, much, really. to those who didn't live there, though, after the processing, had incredible effects, slowing down aging - for those who took it regularly - and making people able to live up to half a century more than the average]
originally, there were four tribes of nomads that lived thanks to horned farm animals that decided to settle down into one bigger town and other smaller settlements, to live off of transhumance. this division of the tribes stayed into the political and social organization: every person belonged to one tribe specifically, and had slightly different rituals and culture. for examples, each tribe had their own priests and healers, with different techniques and traditions. the town, tho, was guided by a group of people in the high priesthood, a position you could reach only by having earned the trust of all tribes. those high priests had many roles: they guided the people into sacred processions common to all the tribes, they managed the trading with outsiders, they did the maintenance of the temple of the summit (the one that functioned as casket to the crystal) and created a special liquid to offer the crystal that helps it grow.
this particular temple was important because 1. it was very visible, from every angle of the town, and it became an important identity symbol; 2. it stored the venerated horned crystal; 3. it had the altar where sacrifices were made for the crystals. that altar had a hole connected to the cavity, that allowed the liquids to reach the underground; 4. it had various symbols: statues representing each tribe + the high priesthood, and typical mirialan tattoos carved into the wood of the trees that served as columns for the temple, symbolizing 8 values that who dared to enter HAD to have; 5. it was on the way to an important lake (called "mother lake" because the lake the town was built around to depended on the waters of that other lake) where they traveled to in important processions; 6. it was said that a the wizard who unified the tribes made it with its magic, making the plant grow to hold the temple's roof. this wizard was, actually, a force user, obv.
BACK TO HER THOUGH: she's daughter of one of the high priests, who was in charge of managing the trades with outsiders, and lives in a house on the mountains with her mother and him. her parents are from different tribes (that's one of the things that earned him trust from the 4 tribes): when a child is born from two different tribes, they don't pick one to allign to, but they're usually linked automatically to the one with more relatives in it (in her case, the father's tribe: she had many uncles and aunts on his side while her mom only had one sister).
later, though, she got quite tied to her mother's tribe due to a mysterious illness that only her mother's tribe healer was able to cure. she spent 4 years (from 10 to 14 years old) living with the healer and learned her secrets. to better study, she wrote them down. when she returned home, she studied to become a priestess with her father. at 22 (the average age: you can't become priest before your 20s), she was supposed to take a test and become a priestess, but the healer of her mother's tribe died and the tribe asked her to take her place. she couldn't technically do that, but both tribes estimated both her and her parents and she was allowed to become both. she then decided to try to become a high priestess, and became one at 25 (a quite young age). being part of the council, she tried to convince the various tribe healers to unite their knowledges and write them down, and eventually made it. healers still remained tribe based but they now had an "upper, inter-tribe level" similar to high priesthood.
years later, the sacred horned crystal is stolen from the temple by some Hutt mercenaries looking for a profit. given the trust she has earned from all the tribes and the fact that her father is the high priest that deals with outsiders (and she's been hearing stories and advice about it since she was little), she is the one tasked with getting it back. without the growing crystal, the keystone to their ecosystem, the village would have lasted only a few years. in hrr quest, she meets imperial intelligence agent tar'x laran and, as they "solve the mystery" and fight to have it back, they get closer. they'll get married and have a daughter, Vegoia (who's the only one who actually will get to the plot of my story. this was all background)

[ source: (S2) Ep.100 - Enough (Part 1) ]
I’m sorry, but why do we keep continuing to act as if Jason was out on the streets jacking tires because he felt like it?
Why frame this as Jason just being an angry kid doing angry kid things because he’s parentless (or powerless and lashing out or whatever) when he was stealing the tires off the batmobile so he could feed himself because he was disadvantaged - ie: homeless. He was fucking homeless - ?
I’m probably nitpicking, but I don’t give a shit. Also, the narrative that Bruce is who “made” Jason a good person “against all the odds” is such bullshit.

(idk if anyone wants to keep hearing my opinions on totk book stuff but-)
apparently it says that rauru DID have kids, multiple even, which yeah... is kinda necessary for zelda to even be connected to them so much so that sonia can SENSE a blood connection (which, even with all the excuses with magic, is just a little too far for me to suspend my disbelief bc its over, OVER, ten thousand years worth of generations that seperate her from them that one lil touch of the hand can sense that (feels more like an attempt to make you care about them or .. see them as zeldas "better" parents just bc they exchange a few nice words, i never got the feeling they were 'better' parents and its also kinda disrespectful to her actual parents, like sure rhoam wasnt the best but i wouldnt call rauru better just bc he was polite)- i could see maybe the light power of hylia or sth but since its the coolest dude that ever lived rauru now that had it which still doesnt make sense and makes me unreasonably annoyed and she can sense BOTH of their powers in her? nah)
the fact theres NOTHING about them in the game itself is just so ... no way they planned any of this
i dont think theres anything they can do or say that wont make be believe they either
are making it up alla 'fix it in post' mentality trying to hastily explain stuff the game never bothers to do to try and appease fans or let it appear as if they thought about it at all
something went really REALLY wrong during development, which kinda seems likely given how the game turned out (im sorry i cannot let go, its not just the writing, the game design too and how little was changed in the map while being so damn expensive, i dont know how people dont feel scammed q_q)
given that they (allegedly) spent the last entire year of development on polish (where??? where????? huh??? like it would make it more understandable (EXCEPT for the price) if there was alot of trouble, which was also bc it got delayed and ... turned out like this, but they dont want to say it, especially given their reputation, with that quote i have heard way too many times 'a delayed game blah blah') i just??
are they just gonna go and do it like they did with kashiwa (kass)? "they uuuh where flying around the whole time ony cool sonau tech maschines, you just dont see or hear from them ooooorrr they were uuuuh out of the country at the time" (sending invitations to other continents to join their glorious kingdom ;) )
(bet they are also gonna say they did all the stuff like ... moving the shrines around (lol?) and lifting the islands up into the sky- which is still weird bc ... didnt they also say they were living in the sky before coming to the surface?? so where?? did they park all their islands on the surface and the mystery kids had the keys so they had to repark them back into the sky after they returned off camera?? xD also why are the islands so different as an environment if they where from the surface? like even the STONE up there is different- and if they were first in the sky then on the surface and the nback in the sky .. why is there not a single yellow tree or grass in the past- you cant really argue that it changed bc they were up there so long bc .. nothing else changed, the suddendly and totally always there sonau buildings are largely in prime condition, only some slightly moldy, and what we see of the glorious past looks barely any different from the present, aside from like ... some standard trees shuffled, no castle yet and that glowy uwu filter DESPITE that stupidly long time frame between it)
