Mask will let the captain have this. Just this once. It wasn't just once.
Poor Mask kept falling to the ground. Luckily for him, either the captain or Tune are there to catch him
A continuation of THIS
Fun fact I didn't know until I started researching for this: apparently when someone looses an eye, it's possible that the other eye adapts. This is not good in the beginning as the remaining eye stops working for a while (???!). While long term it's not as noticeable (just less field of vision and some problems with depth perception sometimes) it's, uh... interesting :,D
Correct me if I'm wrong about this tho. I did my research, but sometimes there's misinformation out there so don't trust it 100% without checking it first.

hold on i need to get a thought and emotions out. so with Welcome Home, there seems to be a before and an after. obviously, we're in the after. the website is the after. and if it turns out that the story we see, the one where shit hits the fan and the show is practically erased, then... that already happened. whatever horrors we see, we'll know that there is no saving them. there is no happy ending - it happened, and it's tragic. the show is doomed to end and be scrubbed away. if any of the characters are revealed to be dead/gone by the website, then when/if we see them at an earlier point, we'll Know
and there's a special kind of dread and horror in that for us, the audience.

every now and then i remember the time a few years ago, when sdmi fandom first had its revival thanks to netflix, when a wildly popular sdmi blog run by an anti said the words 'perfectly good Black woman' in reference to why you should ship [man you could easily read as white, whose arc she was fridged for] with her instead of [hatesink character whose race is ambiguous due to being a furry, but has a BLISTERINGLY antiblack narrative under a thin layer of fantasy racism, with a fun side of homophobia and holocaust denial the latter of which is directly invoked in the post], which got hundreds of notes, and i grimace my face through the back of my head all over again lmao

the absolute most insane and ironic and hilarious piece of set decoration on all of obx is this
rafe cameron just killed a police officer and then drove away in a truck with a thin blue line/blue lives matter sticker on the back. like 😭😭😭😭 absolutely genius. also i'm assuming this is ward's truck bc rafe really only ever rips around on the dirt bike (but the vehicle situation in this show is fucking nuts, like the only consistency is the dirt bikes and that godawful twinkie but i digress), which adds a whole other layer of LMFAO WHAT on top of this all.

so yes i am absolutely adding s.arah j.ane s.mith back
i mostly intend to write her during her travels with the doctor in the 70s until i reach the point of rewatching her new who eps. it's been a while and ya girl is rusty, i'm starting with the classic stuff
in the time between classic and new who she remains an investigative journalist, writes a book about UNIT, and continues investigating alien events on earth; she's quietly opposed to hostile aliens, and willingly befriends those who are peaceful. she's very anti-torchwood, and disagrees with UNIT's approach too, despite her close connection to it and the brigadier. guns are not the answer. she collects alien things, and is accompanied by k9 for decades until he breaks down. after reuniting with 10 she also ends up looking up and making contact with some of the doctor's former companions, bc she was LONELY not being able to talk about it all.
however sja isn't canon on this blog; she specifically says she wouldn't put kids in that much danger, esp not repeatedly, and i'm personally not comfortable with the idea that she'd lead literal children in super dangerous situations. the kids choosing to do so alone is v different to her in her 50s leading the gang lmfao. maybe some kind of divergence where the adventures only start once the kids are eighteen? idk i haven't watched all of sja yet so we'll see if there are any specific events i want to yoink
she does, however, adopt luke, her sort of alien sort of lab grown son. she also has all her sja equipment like the sonic lipstick and scanner. k9 is also fixed and around, and she does get to meet 11 and jo grant too (they become best friends), and remains close friends with the UNIT crew she was close to in the 70s.
also she's a lesbian xo
