Killua's love for you is intense. This new and rather unique feeling confuses him, and as much as he doesn't want to, he asks his mother and father about it.

Well, safe to say that Kikyo is absolutely FURIOUS that Killua is even thinking about something so foolish. She dedicated her whole being to raising her sons so that they could be the best assassins the zoldyck's could raise, and the heir to the family is thinking about love?? OUTRAGEOUS!!

Silva however, Is much more relaxed than his wife is and even encourages Killua to explore deeper into how he feels about you. To Killua, his father just wants him to be happy and free however in reality Silva wants a secured future for the Zoldyck family. So long as his son remains 'obedient' then all is well. (And maybe Silva can use you as a way to blackmail Killua if he ever becomes a hassle for the family)

Anyways. Now that Silva is on board, Killua is free to do whatever he wants with you!

No doubt that Killua politely asked Milluki to retrieve some information about you. (And by politely asked I mean threatened to destroy Milluki's dolls) And after Milluki being the ‘wonderful’ big brother that he is, Killua now knows all of your family's dark secrets that even you don't know.

Gon is the first to know about Killua's crush on you and in short he's super happy for his best friend! Gon is also just as encouraging as Silva is, even trying to spend some more time with Leorio and Kurapika so that you and you and Killua can have some 'alone time' (Gon doesn't know how crazy Killua is for you.)

Spontaneously walked up behind you one day in York new city and cut off some of your hair. Everyone around to witness it, including you, thought that he was some sort of psychopathic stalker when he was actually trying to be sweet. Even after all this time he still has it in a small ziplock bag underneath his pillow.

He really likes sleeping in the same room as you. Even when you don't know that he's there. You look so impossibly adorable, what with your tranquil expression and your gorgeous body. Killua couldn't help but wonder how it might feel to have you so at peace in his arms, with your steady and gentle breaths pushing against him. He wondered how it might feel to have your hands so securely wrapped in his own, with the softness of your skin soothing his.

Goes without saying that he'd 100% kill for you or torture someone in your name. What else could he do to prove his love? Must he rip out his heart and lay it on a bed of roses for you to acknowledge his undying emotions for you? If he needed help, than surely Gon, Kurapika and Leorio wouldn't hesitate.

Let's face it. Killua wasn't asking you out. He was telling you, you're now dating. He’s got a forceful side to him when it comes to starting the relationship.

If you didn't want to date him, that's just too damn bad because how are you in a position to refuse him when he’s the heir to the worlds strongest assassin family?

"We're not a couple, Killua! Stay away from me!" You screamed. Killua giggled as he looks up at you, a wicked smirk plastered on his face. "Yes... We are, Y/N. I've chosen you." He steps closer, making you gulp. "You're mine now~"

Killua wears the pants in your relationship. Well, he made the pants. He's the dominant one out of you two and he won't have it another way.

He's not delusional, just a boy who’s in love.

Killua may be a little immature, but boy is he smart. Growing up the way he did really gifted him with the art of manipulation and gaslighting to get his way.

Sometimes, he likes to make you feel foolish and pathetic. As a powerplay move.

He informs everyone including his family that both of you are dating. Even if it is not technically true. If Killua says your his. Then sorry, but there’s not much that anyone can do to help you.

Killua also forces his affection on you. (If you can even call it that). His favorite form of physical affection is hand-holding.

His favorite kisses to give are kisses on your knuckles. It's a gentleman's habit he learned here and there.

Call Killua a gentleman, and he’ll hold the title with pride

He'd give you the most bizarre but most expensive gifts (mostly from rich and fancy people that he’s had to assassinate). A whole bar of gold, a diamond necklace, rare animals, flower stems, the fingers of the people he’s had to kill, etc.

Killua isn’t overly expressive when it comes to telling you how much he loves you, Y’know since he didn’t really grow up hearing the words ‘I love you’ on a regular basis. So I think the farthest he expresses his love to you is through his drawings, and the occasional makeout session.

Killua would come to your home in the middle of the night with his skateboard and wake you up just so that he can tell you about the assassin life and how difficult it is. (As much as it’s fun to talk to you, Killua’s purely telling you so that you think twice about ever leaving him)

Now let's talk kidnapping...

If you got to a point where you couldn't take Killua forcing himself on you anymore and trying to flee, he would surely track you down in a short amount of time and then have you tied up tightly somewhere.

It saddens Killua deeply, to think that his love for you simply wasn’t enough to satisfy you, but he makes a silent oath to himself that he will try and be better, the second that he finds somewhere that will make sure that you never leave his side ever again.

His next step would be to inform his parents that a "guest" will be living with them for a while. And as skeptical the family is (an no matter how enraged Kikyo is upon hearing your arrival) they welcome you into their home. (On Killua’s demand) They don't even blink twice at the ropes wrapped around you or the collar tightened around your neck.

Sometimes, you wondered if it was your fault that this happened to you. You wondered what would happen if you weren’t so nice to him. You wondered what had gone wrong with him. You wondered what would happen if you didn’t accept his invitation. You wondered what would happen if he didn’t befriend you. You wondered what would happen if you didn’t fall for that bright smile of his.

And, most of all, you wondered how long has he been developing this sick feeling called ‘love’.

It couldn't even be called love as much as an infatuation, but Gon didn’t know that. He was a simple-minded guy. What he felt in the moment, he experienced it wholeheartedly. No half-assed displays, no poor attempts of hiding, and no lying. His emotions laid bare for everyone to see, and while it was a good – even admirable – quality, you’d learned soon enough that it could be a bad thing too.

A vice, you could say. It seemed to be the only flaw in his otherwise near-perfect appearance. You didn’t mean that he was pretending to be not, either. Again, Gon wasn’t fake. There was absolutely no reason for him to do it because his real personality was much more attractive.

Well, you just didn’t know any better. You just weren’t aware of his true personality. Because humans are complex creatures, and you’d only seen one facet – one layer – from him. One side that he showed to you only, unbeknownst to you. Because he was smart like that. Because you’d unknowingly underestimated his intelligence. Because you took his cheerful demeanor at face value.

But you couldn’t change him, could you? You weren’t some kind of skilled manipulator. You weren’t a liar that could easily twist him with sweet words. You were a good girl. You were a kind girl. You were a gullible girl. No amount of tears, prayers, and screams would ease the regret of being so stupid, so naïve as to believe that Gon was the same as you. That he was a good man. That he was a kind man. That he was a normal man. And no amount of tears, prayers, and screams would change your predicament for the better.

You were stuck here, in this small room bearing nothing but a bed and a chain around the bed pole to keep you attached. To prevent you from running away. To keep you with him always.

Had you done something to attract him? Had you done something that had set him off the wrong way? Had you done something to warrant such... attention from him? Was this the punishment for being too nice, too compliant, too innocent? You wondered and wondered, but you never came to a single answer. A single conclusion. A single explanation to give your muddled mind a rest. Some much-needed break you deserved. Some respite to prepare you to face the consequences of your actions. Of your responses.

You didn’t know, and you hated this. This ignorance, this optimistic mind that had only thought the best from people, this childish brain that refused to believe that there were people who could – and would – take advantage of you.

Sure, Gon had never taken advantage of you. He was such a good friend, such a cheerful guy that you couldn’t help but adore. However, he had also abused your trust in him by luring you into his trap disguised as a pure invitation of two friends hanging out.

And it was pure, indeed. At least, at first. You both watched your favorite movie and chatted about everything and anything that came to his mind until the topic of a crush was mentioned. You were curious about whether or not he had someone to like. That, and because you had a bit of a crush on him too. He was friendly, resourceful, determined, and adventurous. You didn't doubt that he could effortlessly convince an enemy to be his ally. Not to mention, he was a skilled Hunter. Anyone would be lucky to have him as either partner or lover.

Gon had blushed when you asked that bold question and answered in a shaky voice that you rarely heard from him. “I-I have, actually,” he said.

“Oh, who are they?”

“You.”

It was a straightforward reply in contrast to the lingering blush on his tan cheeks; one that left you flushing as well. You looked down shyly when he took your hands from your lap and stared at you with an earnest yet tender gaze.

“If it’s possible, I want to go out with you.”

You opened your mouth to accept him when reality crashed in. Gon was a skilled Hunter, and quite a popular one at that. That meant he wouldn’t be able to hang around for long. It didn’t count the other times when he’d disappeared to God knows where, too. You liked him, sure, but you didn’t think you could handle a long-distance relationship. And you feared that you would be a liability to him, because who knows how many enemies did he have? They could use you against him, and the last thing you wanted was to be a burden.

“I’m sorry, Gon. I don’t think I can,” you whispered, smiling ruefully. Like rejecting him was the same as rejecting yourself from having an opportunity to accompany him. And that was true, in some way. You rejected your best friend, and you couldn’t bear to see the pain in his eyes. Those brown, wide eyes that you often got lost into. Those brown, wide eyes that let you see the purity of his soul. 

“What? Why not? I thought... I thought you liked me too.” He frowned and glanced down the floor. You got a feeling that his expression leaned more into confusion than surprise. As if he’d thrown off guard that you didn’t reciprocate his love like he’d expected to. As if he couldn’t wrap his brain to the fact that you didn’t accept his heartfelt confession. As if he somehow knew that you’d long liked him romantically despite his obliviousness.

“I do. I do like you, Gon. It’s just... complicated, okay? You can’t stay here for too long, and I’m not prepared for a long-distance relationship.” You squeezed his hands in an attempt to comfort him through the heartbreak that you’d created by yourself. “I’m sorry, Gon. I hope you understand that a long-distance relationship isn’t as easy as in movies.”

Gon slowly released his grasp on you and dropped his head. You bit your bottom lip, already missing the warmth. But you didn’t deserve it, did you? Because you rejected him, and you didn’t have a right to do lovey-dovey things with him. Things that you’d love to do to him.

Was it the right choice? Perhaps, you should think it over again. Perhaps, you should take it back and let him show you just how amazing of a boyfriend he could – would – be. But it was too late for that, and there was no saving you from your looming doom that left from his lips.

“Is it because of him?” he inquired, shadow concealing his eyes. You looked up, confused about who was the person in question. “That guy... Your ex.”

You furrowed your brows, wondering how he could come to that conclusion. After all, you’d explicitly stated that you weren’t ready to date him. “Um, Gon, you know that I’ve broken up with him.” you tittered.

“But you still harbor feelings for him, aren’t you? I knew that much; I could see it from your eyes. The way you always shot him a lingering glance, the way you always sighing when you thought I didn’t hear. I heard it, you know? You still love him, and I hate it.” He clenched his fists so tightly the knuckles turned whitish. For a split second, you pondered what would happen if you keep holding them. “Gon, w-what are you talking about?” you stuttered as you slowly backed away from his darkening aura. “I... I don’t understand.”

“Be mine.”

A bead of sweat fell from your temple as you blinked in confusion and fear. “Huh...?”

Gon snapped his head towards you, frowning in such a way to let you know that he would take none of your bullshit. It was so intense; he might as well be glowering at this moment. “Be mine, or else he’ll die.”

Your jaw dropped almost comically, unable to process the meaning of his words. Of his threat. Because there was just no way that he had just threatened you, right? No, you refused to believe it. Your sweet best friend didn’t threaten you. He couldn’t possibly find it in himself to speak such... such malicious thing. To you, out of all people.

“I... Gon, you can’t do that. That’s... that’s just wrong.” you explained slowly like a mother teaching her son that killing is bad. Killing is a crime and you didn’t want to see him behind the bars. Or worse. You shuddered at the thought.

“I can and I will. You know that, [Name].”

Yes, you did know. You knew more than anyone that Gon would stop at nothing to achieve something; to prove something. You just... didn’t expect him to stoop this low.

Well, it wasn’t as though you knew everything about him, anyway. Because if you did, then you would surely notice his constant glare towards your ex and how overly sweet he was being to you. It was sincere, though, as painful to admit it.

He grabbed your hands and force you to look at him in the eye. To look at the warmth that slowly disappeared from his eyes, revealing a pair of hardened pupils underneath. To feel the dogged determination from his grasp to never let you go. To make you realize the depth of his feelings and the severity of his threat.

“If you reject me again, then I won’t hesitate to kill him.”

This was all my fault, you thought to yourself as you listened to the sound of the front door opening and closing. To the rushed footfalls that approached your locked room. To the clicking of keys unlocking the door. To the strokes of his bloody hands – figuratively and literally – brushing against your cheeks. To the light, feathery kiss on your forehead.

“You have nothing to worry about,” he reassured you, ignoring how you pretended to be asleep in his presence and the silent tears that leaked through your fluttering eyelids. If he did notice, then he made no effort to call you out on it. He probably took it as a sign of you submitting to him. “We’re finally together now, and nobody will be able to separate us.”

However, he failed to realize that your main worry was and would always be him.

Ever since you had become friends with Killua and Gon during the hunter exam, you had found yourself constantly being touched by Killua in some way, shape, or form. Whether he was playing with your hair, taking your hand in his, or hugging you tightly, Killua seemed to always need your touch. So then, it was no surprise to you that the very moment you exited the heavens arena match, Killua rushed over to you and gently grabbed your hand to get your attention, pulling you to his side.

As soon as he felt you pressed up against his, he felt your steady breaths and your soft skin against his, Killua breathed a silent sigh of relief. Not being the most 'enthusiastic' fighter, being a Zoldyck was already torture enough for him, but it was made even worse by the fact he was forced to be separated so far away from you. He couldn't talk to you, couldn't touch you, couldn't even daydream about you without Gon snapping him out of his thoughts. Somehow though, he had gotten through his thoughts of worry, and now he was more than ready to make up for lost time.

"Man I'm really hungry," he told you, his voice

barely above a whisper, but just loud enough for you to hear, giving your shoulder an affectionate squeeze.

"I'm definitely ready to eat something right about now".

"Me too, that fight sure did take my energy out" you laughed. "I'm just gonna head to the bathroom with Gon first, so I'll meet you down there."

"Okay, " Killua pouted, not wanting to let you go. He had only just gotten you back into his arms, why should he have to give you up to Gon? His eyes watching you closely, Killua hid as he waited for you and Gon to leave the bathrooms to get a little way ahead of him before making his move and following you. What kind of boyfriend would he be, after all, if he just left you all alone?

That reasoning, so wrapped up in his love for you, guided Killua all the way to the men and women’s bathroom, where he hid behind a large plant pot. Fingers twitching slightly from withdrawal of you, Killua instinctively stalked you and Gon as you both exited the bathrooms in sync. If he couldn't have you in his touch at the moment, he could at least still have the sound of your angelic voice in his ear.

"So, "Gon said as you two began walking to the food court, "you and Killua, huh?"

"What do you mean?" you asked back.

"You guys are so really cute together! Are you two dating or something?"

At his question, Killua beamed, his smile positively electric. As much as he loved touching you for its own sake, for the sheer joy and comfort it brought him, he was just as pleased with the other benefits. Namely, that of having people realize that you were taken, that you were off-limits.

"Oh," you answered with a slight chuckle. "We're not dating, Killua and I are just friends." Freezing at your response, the first thing that Killua felt was sheer confusion. He simply had no idea why you would lie about the love you and he shared. Did he do something wrong? Did he upset you somehow? Did he misunderstand something?

No, Killua told himself, that couldn't be it. You loved him, he just knew it. You must.. you must just be shy! Too worried to express your true feelings!! Yes, that was it, Killua realized in relief.

You were just so timid, you didn't know how to tell people about something so close to your heart. Well, that was okay, Killua thought. He would just have to make up for it then, would have to keep you in his arms at every opportunity, showing everyone that he was the only one who had your love.

It was easy to assume that Alluka was always safe. She was so sweet and despite the fact that she shared her body with a Dark Continent creature, she was great company. You could tell her your deepest secrets and she listened to every single one. There was no fear that she would spill them to anyone else and it felt wonderful not to be judged. Because of this most of your time was spent with the young girl. Even Killua joked that you had a stronger bond with Alluka than he did. You denied it, but it seemed that no matter what happened, Alluka was always by your side. It was comforting to see her by your side, but recently you had been longing for daylight. You adored her, but these days her presence was overbearing.

Alluka giggled as she clung to your arm, cuddling into your chest. Shifting was impossible, although she looked like a little girl her strength held you in place. She curled into you, something you had found adorable when she first did it. You knew she didn't mean for it to be as torturous as it was. She wasn't trying to hurt you in any way. And yet you hated the fact that you had to sit here, unmoving, for hours while  Alluka sang and played with your hair.

There wasn't any point in trying to move. She wouldn't even feel your force and would stay locked in place, her light blue eyes smiling up at you. You could complain, but she'd look hurt and you'd relent, resulting in her spending even more time with you. The only time you had to yourself was when Nanika wanted to spend some time with Killua. The entity had become a sense of relief for you as the girl released you from her grasp to find her brother.

You felt bad for how bitter your feelings for Alluka had grown. She only wanted to make you happy. It was clear from the flower crowns she gave you when you rested down under the trees. From the way she melted into every touch you gave her. From the way she would drag out into the garden to show you the flutters of butterfly wings. From how she gazed at every expression you made with a warmth that still surprised you. But even though she meant no harm towards you, everything she did unnerved you in some way.

The flower crowns themselves were sweet, but the shivers that ran down your spine when her nails brushed your scalp weren't. When she melted into your warmth you were unable to move, not wanting to face her pouting face of her loud wailing. You didn't want to see the butterflies, you didn't want to go help her find Killua, but there wasn't any way to escape her or surely Nanika would get involved. You had to constantly be good, as if every action was monitored. There was no way out of her presence. She was suffocating you and she didn't even know it.

"Y/N, are you alright? You look so sad." Alluka asked as her hand had moved to cup your face, concern evident in her eyes. Her fingertips traced the outline of your jaw. There was an inquisition in the way she tilted her head.

"I'm okay, Alluka. I've just been a little distracted as of late. Theres nothing's wrong, I promise." You faked a smile. "Hm...alright then!" She said gladly and nuzzled into the crook of your neck, giving a sigh of relief as she rested. You leaned back, one of the small movements you could actually do. It was interrupted by the door sliding open to reveal Killua.

"Hey Y/N how are you and Alluka doing?" Killua asked. Curiosity filled his tone and he likely wondered how Alluka was so comfortable around you so quickly.

"Yes we are both fine, just resting that's all," you answered, giving a small nod to the boy.

"Good, cause me and Gon are about to go on a super  special mission. I'll tell you what's happening on the way there," Killua lowered his voice as his eyes dipped to Alluka peacefully resting on your body "The mission is supposed to be really fun but it's going to be super risky as well, so it's alright if you don't want to come with." Killua's hushed.

"I'd love to go with you guys. C'mon let's go," you answered with a nod.

You tried to lift yourself from the floor, expecting Alluka to allow to leave but her weight encased you. You squirmed against her, but she didn't let go of your wrists. She didn't even lift her head up to address the situation, opting to trap you beneath her.

"I don't want Y/N to go!" Alluka whined as her grip tightened on your wrist, causing you to hiss in pain. "I want Y/N to stay here with me! I want to keep Y/N safe here with me!"

"Alluka, please. This is important. You have to let go of me," you said, trying to sound as patient as you could, "No! I don't want you to leave! you shouldn't go if it's going to be dangerous! Please stay here with me!" Alluka complained as she pulled you into her with an even harder grip. Her stance grew protective and you hadn't noticed earlier how her pupils grew into slits at the word danger. Her arms had coiled around your waist and her head moved from her favorite spot of your neck to glare at her big brother.

"Big brother, if you let Y/N go, then I will hate you forever and ever." Alluka growled. Causing Killua to back away in shock. He had never seen his little sister behaving so possessive before. It was like a predator protecting it's young.

"A-Alluka..." Killua stuttered, too stunned to form a coherent sentence. He looked over to you for any hope of guidance, but you were also appalled at the girls sudden behaviour.

You had seen how Alluka would glare at others in extreme situations. It was a sign of annoyance. Killua flinched, surprised that his little sister would act such away.

"Alluka," you pleaded, "do not speak to your big brother like that again. And please don't need to worry. I've been on lots of dangerous missions before, I'll be safe, I promise!" Alluka was unmoved by your words, still pouting and holding on to you with her strength. Pain bloomed in your abdomen as her grip grew suffocatingly tight.

"H-hey Alluka stop squeezing them so tight! They won't come on the mission alright?!" Killua yelled.

Alluka eased her grip and her eyes softened as they turned to you.

"M-maybe it's best if you both just stay here while me and Gon are gone, it's probably safer anyways. We'll get you guys some souvenirs," Killua mumbled dolefully as he walked back to Gon.

You had seen Alluka worry over you and she always ran to save you from the heat of danger with the help of Nanika, but she had never spoken to her big brother like that. You couldn't help but stare, shock and horror scrawled over your face like a tattoo. She giggled one again and pressed her face against your collarbone, hands running over your back before settling between the strands of your hair. You wondered if she was trying to comfort you or herself. You couldn't help but embrace her back. Despite everything, she would protect you. She would save you from peril. You could deal with the pain of entrapment in exchange for safety. "Now we have all the time in the world Y/N! Isn't that awesome?" Alluka hummed against your clavicle, giving kisses to your skin. As her ocean eyes reflected a pure intense love you wondered if maybe this life wouldn't be so bad after all.
