Bear and Rebecca’s friendship and steam-diesel friendships in general (like the Adam/Alfred/diesel besties) are important in my au mainly in the special. Bear rescues Rebecca from the scrapyards and understood the complications she’s having with Gordon, defending her she’s doesn’t have the best experience with diesels post and pre withdrawal and first attempt of escaping but she always tries to see the best in everybody. So when Bear among the other diesels are starting to become mistreated during the whole dotd/calling all engines/Barry the recuse engine cause we need more antagonistic steam engine and cause I have Dudley in my mind and I’m 100% percent convinced that Rebecca will throw buffers with Dudley, she willingly returns the favor for Bear and the others since she was constantly teased and made fun of for her clumsiness and wheel slip and she has a bit of a pleasing attitude still has it. Though she can be rather intense and takes it to the extreme sometimes cause she can’t stand anyone being mistreated or bullied (Rip Barry, we hardly knew ya, Rebecca punches him in the face, breaking his nose and rightfully calling out and scolding everyone in her uncanny manner unless pushed to her breaking point yes that’s includes Diesel 10 even though they’re Friends as well XD)
