Disclaimer: The names I chose are purposely very common/generic names-in real life of course there's a ton of variation and nuance for Spanish-language names based on the various cultures/traditions. Monari to release 7" vinyl in Korea with a cover of Plastic Love

It has been confirmed that Monari Wakita will be releasing a 7" vinyl record of WINGSCAPE in Korea through indie label Beatball Records.

The record will contain a Korean version of the fan-favourite single WINGSCAPE, with newly penned lyrics by Yohei Hasegawa.

A cover of Mariya Takeuchi's PLASTIC LOVE will be included as the record's B-side.

The vinyl will be released in Korea on the 14th of December 2023. There are plans for the vinyl to be released in Japan in 2024.

SHINE POST, la novel degli autori di OreSuki diventa un franchise: annunciati anime, manga e videogame

A dirigere la serie a tema idol c’è il regista di Uma Musume Pretty Derby.

Konami Digital Entertainment e Straight Edge hanno annunciato che la light novel “Shine Post”, scritta da Rakuda e illustrata da Buriki, il duo autore di “Ore wo Suki nano wa Omae dake ka yo” (OreSuki: Are you the only one who loves me?), ispirerà una serie animata, il cui debutto è previsto per l’estate 2022. 

Ma non è finita qui: l’anime sarà solo una delle produzioni che contribuiranno al lancio di un vero e proprio franchise, al quale si andranno ad aggiungere un manga, un videogioco curato da Akihiro Ishihara (The IDOLM@STER, Uma Musume Pretty Derby) e una serie di concerti. 

Le protagoniste della storia sono le cinque ragazze che formano il gruppo idol chiamato TiNgS, formato da:

Come produttore musicale alle spalle del progetto c’è invece Yohei Kisara (Selection Project, Love Live! School idol project).

Monari to perform in Korea and teases Korean version of "Wingscape"

Monari Wakita will be performing at the "This Is The CITY LIFE" event at Channel 1986 in Seoul, Korea on Saturday, 16th of December 2023.

This will continue her annual tradition of performing at the event at the end of the year.

The event organiser, DJ Yohei Hasegawa, has teased the release of a vinyl which may be sold at the event containing a Korean Version of Monari's single "Wingscape".

Ayaka Ohashi Joins New Idol Anime Project SHINE POST as "Absolute Idol" Hotaru

    The official website for Konami Digital Entertainment's new idol-themed project SHINE POST announced on January 6 that Ayaka Ohashi (Uzuki Shimamura in The Idolm@ster Cinderella Girls) is cast as Hotaru, who is called an "Absolute Idol" and is the number one character in terms of both popularity and ability. All the idols, including the main unit of the project, TiNgS, have her as their goal and aim.

  Q1: What is your impression of this project?

  I think this is a very interesting project, because it has a lot of mixed-media development and the passion of the production staff is so high. There have been a lot of idol-themed contents out there, but I'm very excited to see new elements.

  Q2: What do you think of the character you play and how enthusiastic are you about the role?

  I feel very pressured because she is an "Absolute Idol." And she is a girl who has performed solo, not as a member of a unit. I love idols and I have very strong feelings towards them. I'll do my best to bring out the charm of Hotaru-chan, who is somewhat out of this world...!

    Ohashi will also join a live program "SHINE POST Official Strategy Meeting" to be streamed on the project's official YouTube channel from 20:00 (JST) / 03:00 (PT) on January 10, along with the three members of TiNgS - Sayumi Suzushiro (Haru Nabatame), Moeko Kanisawa (Kyoka Tamaki), Yuko Natsuyoshi (Rio Seibu), and the two members of Yukimoji - Rimo Hasegawa (Yukine Gionji) and Rika Nakagawa (Momiji Ito).

      The SHINE POST project based on the novel series written by Rakuda (ORESUKI Are you the only one who loves me?) was launched in October 2021. It has been confirmed that the project will include games, manga, music, live concerts, and a TV anime to premiere in Japan in the summer of 2022. Kei Oikawa (Umamusume Pretty Derby) serves as director, Yoshihiro Nagata (Macross Delta animation director) designs the anime characters, and KAI (Super Cub) works on anime production. Yohei Kisara, best known for his works for the Love Live! series, will be the music producer for the project.

  "SHINE POST" synopsis:

  The idol unit "TiNgS" has big dreams, but only small achievements, and is not very popular. The best manager in the world was supposed to be their savior, but... "I'm not interested in being your manager." The man who shows up is Naose Hinaki, a man with no motivation. However, he has a special power...? This is a story of you and the girls shining brightly to become "absolute idols." The best idol entertainment begins here!
