it's obvious that the recent event have taken a toll on hak. even i had a hard time reading through it. and seeing hak vulnerable just got yona more protective of him hmm i wanna protect him too ~3~

Thoughts on ch 225 continued

So, my initial thoughts on the chapter just by seeing previews was bad, and I made it very clear. After reading, my rating went up substantially.

I like that Hak was traumatized. He ranted about who he needed to save without realizing that Yona was talking to him, even while she was in front of him. This really means that he was going through some real shit. 

Yona too was traumatized. They talked it out and had really heartwarming moments together, it reminded me of Lili and Yona’s talk in chapter 93 or so.

I kept getting the feeling of water, water, Water Tribe, rain, flood, etc. this chapter. Lili’s return incoming??

The rain was a great addition to the scenery and really brought forth the fact that Hak was previously stuck in a flood. 

If I have some criticism, I personally would have expected more crying, tears from both. Yona is not traumatized to hear Hak’s tirade on what he experienced. Hak is not wondering why he hasn’t died?

Rarely do we get more insight into Hak’s POV and I am glad that he went through a journey like this all alone, it’s a nice change of pace. Hak has suffered a lot through this manga and I’m so glad we finally get to see him talk about it. 

Now Yona and Hak are finally reunited, what’s next for our gang? The Senjuso has worked on Su-Won to some extent where he can probably survive for a longer time to achieve his goals. 

Where is Lili?? Was brought up. Yona wonders why Lili isn’t on the battlefield. Joon-gi asks Yona to take care of his daughter. This is likely because Lili is in Hiryuu Castle or Kuuto, or knowing her, she’s on the battlefield to meet up with Yona and Su-Won. 

Yona has no idea. I wonder how Yona will react to learning how Lili speaking more with Su-Won considering he killed her father. They haven’t really spoken for a while, I’d like to see Lili interact with Su-Won too. 

But I do think I gained some insight into what Hak went through. I’d rate this chapter a 8/10. I really hope to see Su-Won and Hak interact in the future.

Are you update with Akatsuki no Yona manga? If you are, do you know if it's close to finishing? I wanna start reading it, but only like reading complete mangas 😂

yesss i am up to speed with the latest chapter (ch 225)! i dont know if its really close to ending, we usually get one chapter a month so even if it has few chapters left, it could take more than 2 years akjsdjk i highly recommend u read it either now or when its done tho anon, its great <3

OK now I'm crying. This scene became one of my favorite scenes in this series. I just can't explain it correctly : Yona who trying to calm her lover of the sound that is reminiscent of the tragic experiences that he passed. Simply. I'm crying.
