May 2K24: The Beast.

Here's another X-Man I drew last year and only got around to colouring them In. Its Dr Hank McCoy a.k.a The Beast! As a Kid I liked the Beast mainly cause he was a Blue furred Mutant man and much like another character I liked as a Kid and that was the Cookie Monster 😄.
One thing I don't remember about the Beast was reciting quotes from political figures or stoics that kinda went over 5 or 6 year old Me's head, It's only till recently I rewatched the original X-Men Animated series and took notice.
I look forward to Kelsey Grammars return as Beast in the Upcoming Avengers Doomsday film too 😊.

27/07/2024: The Masked Parkour runner and Phryge.
Has anyone here been watching the Paris Olympic games? It doesn't seem like 5 minutes since we had the last one in 2022. The opening ceremony was a bit odd, and very "disjointed " and the Ceremony took place all over Paris and not within a Stadium.
But there were a couple of characters that stick out during the Opening ceremony, one of them Included this Masked Parkour runner, Running over rooftops and leaping into other Buildings with the Olympic torch in hand. Although not for too long as It started to rain in Paris.
I also drew a Phryge the Olympic mascot running along side the Masked Man. And If you're trying to work out what they are, then I shall tell you! The Phryge is based upon a Phrygian caps, and I've only just found out there was some controversy with the Phryge as some people thought they were based on the Female Clitoris 😐.... Get your Mind out the Gutters people come on...

The largest cultural impact this years Olympics will have is the introduction of a new tumblr sexyman

18/02/2023: Terra Cresta's Mobility chair 2K23.

Here's a pic Ill probably share on my "Other" page.. It's OC Terra on a Mobility Chair which I drew wayyy back in 2023. And I was gonna post it for the 18th of February but I must have got side tracked and made something else. Because I've got only got round to colouring in this pic 😞
In this Pic our usually Svelte Superheroine "Terra Cresta" has succumbed to Elephantine proportions after a mission on the Planet "Adiphose" a planet which Is known for Its global fatness. Terra completed her mission but decided to stay after she made the mistake of signing up to various restaurants, living off Junk and gaining a substantial amount of weight.
A now overweight Terra rides about on a Mobility chair working from the ground up as a Garbage collector, being bossed about by her new Boss "Gabby".

Accessibility Is More Than Ramps: Living with Invisible Disabilities
On Monday, I shared thoughts on the lived experience of disability. I unexpectedly received messages of gratitude from readers across the board. There is so much quiet hurt in the world—people feeling misunderstood, or navigating conversations about illness without care or compassion.
Yesterday, I had a conversation with a rehabilitation doctor. He asked whether I find it difficult to communicate what I go through as someone with an invisible disability. I explained that it’s not so much the ability to articulate it—that part, I’ve honed. The difficulty lies in being understood. People don’t always have the shared experience needed to grasp what the words truly mean. For example, chronic fatigue isn’t simply “being tired.” Tiredness can be resolved by rest. Chronic fatigue is unpredictable, invasive, and unrelenting.
I told him: the only way to bridge the gap is to shine a light on what invisible disabilities are, to inform the broader public about the challenges we face, and to make it part of our social conversation. Once we’ve done that—then ask me again if it’s hard to communicate what I go through.
More information and more visibility are urgently needed. And I’m more than willing to provide it. Today, I want to start by exploring what often goes unseen—what’s misunderstood, overlooked, or dismissed. Invisible disabilities can shape every aspect of a person’s life and may prevent full access to the world around them.
When people think of accessibility, they often picture ramps, lifts, or wide doorways. Those are vital—but accessibility goes far beyond bricks and concrete. For those of us living with invisible disabilities, access might mean flexibility with time. It might mean freedom from harsh lighting, loud noise, or overstimulating environments. It might mean understanding that energy is not just limited but also unpredictable, and that “pushing through” can have lasting consequences.
Access means being able to exist, participate, and belong—without having to constantly justify your needs.
In modern life, we’ve grown used to explaining how we feel, defending our thoughts, and using words to build bridges of understanding. But here’s the golden rule of communication: the message must be received and understood by the other person. If I tell you my dog has blue hair, but you don’t know what “blue” means, you’ll miss the point. So when I say that fatigue is a debilitating part of my condition, someone might hear “fatigue = tired,” and think, “I get tired too, but I push through and go to bed early—why can’t you do the same?”
That’s where miscommunication starts. And once misunderstanding sets in, it often leads to misplaced accountability and judgment.
We live in a culture that values performance and productivity. We hold people accountable for what they do—which, in many cases, is entirely reasonable. But what happens when someone is judged by standards shaped by assumptions? When a person is scrutinized for not working, simply because their disability isn’t visible? Or asked to explain why they can function one day and not the next?
The truth is, society isn’t designed with invisible challenges in mind. If your condition isn’t visible, many assume you’re fine. But this assumption erases the labor it takes just to show up. It dismisses the brain fog, the pain, the anxiety—and the constant effort to mask it all in order to be seen as “normal.”
And that masking itself is exhausting. The pressure to be believed, to seem capable, to avoid suspicion—it all adds to the weight we carry. It fuels stress, deepens isolation, and increases the distance between us and the world.
So how do we begin to make space for invisible disabilities? How do we make society more accessible?
It begins with a shift—from suspicion to trust. That’s not a small ask. In today’s world, it’s a paradigm shift. But it’s not about special treatment. It’s about equal footing. It’s about creating spaces where people don’t have to fight to be believed before they’re offered support.
How do we spark that shift? We start by listening. Without judgment. With open hearts. With a willingness to be wrong and to grow. We start by saying, “Even if I haven’t lived it, I believe you.” We start by giving people what they need to thrive—and valuing them for who they are, not for how much they produce.
Not everyone’s experience looks the same. But every voice deserves to be heard. Let’s listen to those voices. And let’s make space—for all of us.

15/05/2025: Whale Boi and the Golden Gillman.

Its been a minute since I've drawn anything for Mermay so I thought I'd be a little different and draw Whale Boi again.
This time our Blubbery hero has met a Golden Gillman who doesn't look so Friendly. Or maybe he's warding off Whale Boi with that Sea monster lurking behind them 😨

21/02/2025: Ena and Hourglass Dog.

Today is Ena Day! (As far as I am aware). That most beautiful day where we celebrate all things Ena!
Ena for those of Y'all that have been living under a Rock is a Web series created by Joel G. A series staring the Titular character "Ena" and their friend "Moony" going on some adventure whether it being Ena giving Moony a Gift or attending an Auction to try and win "Hourglass Dog" and well stuff happens and by "Stuff happens" I mean something completely Surreal and "Out there" so to speak.
There is a clear influence on other art forms in Ena including Cubism, Dadaism and references to 90s computer and Videogame graphics, So I attempted to capture that in my own fan arts here.

May 2K24: Rogue.

Can you believe it? Tomorrow is X-Men day and like most special or Important days this year ya Boi hasn't made anything for It 😖.
What I'm going to do instead is colour in some X-Men Pics I drew last year. First up It's everyone's fave Southern Belle it's "Rogue". Question for you Zelly! "Do you remember much about Rogue as a Kid?" And to that Question "Yes! yes I do".
I remember that one episode of the X-Men cartoon where Rogue "Borrows" Cyclops Optic blast ability and nearly levelled a Factory or Warehouse I forget which...
I also remember Rogue in the Live action movies which I intended to watch today 😌

14/01/2025: Merm and Whale Boi.

This Thursday! 🎶It's a gonna be May!🎶. Man where has this Year gone?! Seriously! Anyways with May it will also mean "Mermay" so I better get some practice in.
Here's a Mermaid I drew at the start of the year which were going to call "Adrielle" and the Chunky Blue Merm "Whale Boi" who by the looks of it is about to bite into a Sea Pickle.
Will we see some more of these two for actual Mermay? Well we shall see, I definitely want to draw Mermaid OC Celine again!

Continuing my Quest to draw Sonic characters here's everyone's favourite Enchilada I mean Echidna "Knuckles". As a Kid me and my friends liked Knuckles so much so that we could no longer play Sonic on the School playground cause we all wanted to be Knuckles 😂.
Who could blame us though? He's got alot going for him, he's got Spikes on his Knuckles, he can Glide some how? And he's Super strong. I'm liking his Film incarnation where he's voiced by Actor and Rap artist Idris Elba (What you didn't know Idris could Rap?).

16/08/2024: Reed and Val.

Here's a more recent Marvel superhero pic! This is Reed Richards a.k.a Mr Fantastic! Solving a complex equation for one of his Experiments and gently rocking his baby daughter "Valerie" to sleep. Yes I know that Valerie was originally Victor Von Dooms daughter but whatever!
I based my Interpretation of Reed on Dr Benton Quest from 60s adventure cartoon "Johnny Quest"... I may draw Susan and Franklin next, we'll see what happens... New Adventures for me start this week 😲.

06-10/05/2025: Vanishing Fins Mermay day 02- Daintree Rainbowfish.

For this Mermay prompt we see the return of Jess, a Merm I drew for last year's Mermay Art challenge. She's found a hidden underwater cove where Reina, the last of the Rainbowfish tribe Mermaid is in a state of Suspended animation. Jess Is curious to find out if there are any other members of the Rainbowfish tribe out there... Surely Reina can't be the only one!?
The Daintree Rainbowfish is a critically endangered fish that lives in the Clear streams in the Cooper and Hutchinson creek systems of the Daintree lowland Rainforest streams in Queensland, Australia. Because of it's small population, water pollution and climate change, this species is threatened with extinction.

07/08/2023-24: Denizoid vs. Predator

Back in 2023 I decided to make a B-Day card for my friends Birthday. They collect Action Figures and like the Predator film franchise. So thats what I drew for them. Unfortunately around about the Time I drew Denizoid here (on the Left) and my own interpretation of a Predator. I had started Training for a new Job and by the time I got a chance to colour in my friends card their Birthday had been and gone.
So a Year later I finally got around to colouring Denizoid about to face off a Predator. By the Time I post this on here I will hand a printed version of this image over to my friend as a "Belated" Birthday present.
