This whole king situation is like that one time I got a crush on gabriel ultrakill but so much worse
Also Nooooo, I can't make a self insert, it's been a running joke with me that all of my self insert oc's I make to ship with other characters never get with the person whom they desire because that person is too busy, I'd be ruining my streak
But if I were to make a regular oc, not a self insert one it still brings the question of why? The reason my first thoughts were siffrin and euphrasie is both have reason to hold personal grudges against him (siffrin more so than euphrasie maybe but hey we don't know what sort of rage hides behind that affable smile). But siffrin would never want to touch him like that and again I feel weird exposing euphrasie to him, she could handle him but I feel if it was her the situation would become about him very quickly and no! He needs to be diminished!
Like I need someone who hates him but also knows how deeply pathetic he is from personal experience so when they pull at his hair rolling their eyes calling him annoying it comes from somewhere deeply personal
uhhhhhhhhh panicked spongebob filing cabinet brain image. uh uh uhm OH OHO. well. you see. i have this headcanon .

10 Ways the Loki show Disappointed Me
part two
6) The trailer was misleading advertising. Marvel’s done it in the past with little to no backlash:
Iron Man 3 presenting the Mandarin as the ultimate foe for Tony to defeat, only to find out he’s a charlatan in a minor role.
Falcon and Winter Soldier was presented as a light-hearted buddy adventure, only to tackle darker themes about nationalism and racism. (Not saying that those themes were bad, just that the TFAWS’s trailer was not truthful to the story).
In the case of Loki, the trailer presented the plot as Loki making time-traveling shenanigans and being captured for breaking the timeline. They included the D.B Cooper clip, and the scenes of Loki in New York and as king in Asgard. These clips never show up in season 1. The D.B Cooper scene was a off-the-cuff moment, and the highly-anticipated (imo) President Loki was around for five minutes.
The trailer shows the storyline being about Loki breaking the timeline, with Mobius saying in a voiceover, “You picked up the tesseract, breaking reality. I want you to help us fix it.”
Marvel’s publicity team knew what story we would want to see from the character. And that’s not what we got: it was a mix of Loki tagging along with Sylvie to take down the Timekeepers, and detective-esque  scenes of trying to overthrow the TimeKeepers.
It was never about Loki having an adventure, breaking the timeline, and having to fix it.
There’s a difference between having scenes that don’t make it into the final product, between not revealing enough of the story to spoil plot twists...and deliberately choosing certain scenes and quotes  to present a false version of the story.
I guess Marvel was worried that no one would watch it if they showed us the real product.
7)    Loki’s powers were wildly inconsistent, especially compared to what we’ve seen before.
In the past, we’ve seen Loki do illusions, duplication casting and in Thor 2, some very light telekinesis. After hearing of his mother’s death, he throws several pieces of furniture in into the cell walls with his mind. This is after losing the person who probably mattered most to him at the time, and feeling responsible for her death--it’s a powerful move showing his magical capabilities.
In the show, in Episode 3 we see him pull a Roomba towards himself in order to use it as a shield during a fight--pretty in-line with what we saw in the Dark World.
One episode later, an entire flipping tower is falling towards them, and he reverses it with his mind alone.
It was in the face of death, you say. Of course he was going to pull some cool new magical move.
Sure. In the face of death, I could see him jumping from throwing chairs to something heavier, like maybe a crumbling wall or a fruit stand.
BUT A TOWER?
 WHY?
 HOW??
He’s never done anything on that scale magically. In episode 2, he got tossed around by a (human) Alabama man. Why would he not use that move to bring the roof crumbling down if he was fighting for his life then?
So he’s got massive telepathic power when a building is falling but can’t use it in a fight against regular people.... okay?
Honestly, due to the fact that they’ve weakened him so much, and when Loki said, “I think we’re stronger than we realize”, I’m betting Season 2 will include Loki discovering the extent of his magical powers.
I don’t like this idea because again, it contradicts the previous canon. In Thor 1, Hogun literally calls Loki a “master of magic”. He went toe-to-toe with Thor and the Avengers and now can’t beat regular humans. A thousand+ year old being unaware of his own untapped potential doesn’t seem correct (yeah, they did that with Thor in Ragnarok, I know).
This Loki’s power levels jump up and down according to the plot, trying to make us believe that due to his spoiled past, Loki needs to apply himself to learn more about his powers.
 8)  Loki was out of character.
His lying and scheming was way too obvious. I was incredibly confused the first couple of episodes because it would be strange how he would be a pathetic buffoon  one minute and yet The only moment I was sold on his competence as a liar was episode 2 at the renaissance fair where he attempts to fool  the TVA. He was actually competent for once, but he gets caught, and goes into apologizing and sucking up 30 seconds later.
He gets drunk when they’re on the mission on Lamentis. This didn’t make sense--when he was trying to conquer Earth, he had the opportunity to also goof off and he’s always been shown to take things seriously, with the exception of Ragnarok.
The “I’m a narcissist” scene. While Loki is the type to crave attention--in Avengers, Tony calls him a diva who wants his name plastered to the skies--it comes from a place of feeling overshadowed, never able to match his brother Thor.  Which we can see has some basis:
In Thor 1, his adopted parents raised him to hate his race,
lied to him about it,
and when he was hanging over an wormhole, his father finally rejected him.
In Avengers, Thor tells him in  that his slights are “imagined”.
Thor 2, his adopted father told him his “birthright was to die”.
While it doesn’t excuse his actions in Thor and Avengers, it’s pretty clear that his family, particularly his father, have let him down.
So to make him experience character development and understand why he does what he does...the writers took him back to Asgard, and had Sif beat him up repeatedly until he admits he does terrible things because he’s a...narcissist.
It was pretty hard to watch that scene, especially because I related to Loki as someone who felt overshadowed and overlooked. He tried too hard to be what his family wanted, to show that he was “the worthy son”.
But here in the fantastic year of 2021, this show decided to throw away all of that emotional nuance away.
 9) The costumes were bad.
The brown variant jacket with its ugly orange block letters.
The guard suit on Lamentis looked like a cross between a purple sweater and a plague doctor mask. honestly makes me shuder to see it
Loki’s green-and-gold costumes are some of the most distinct, instantly recognizable outfits of the MCU. And he almost immediately loses it in the first episode. It ends being given to Sylvie, (like most of Loki’s better characteristics) and he stays in a detective skinny-tie suit instead. The costume is okay, but it lacks the flair and style he’s had previously, and he never gains it back.
10) The season finale really did showcase this show in the best way-- ig hype followed by disappointment.
For five episodes, we rushed towards the ultimate villain, the mastermind behind it all. Episode 6 was like...being handed a pack of bubble wrap, swinging your hand hard, expecting that satisfying pop! only to have it slowly putter out with a sad little sound.
First, Kang looked like he got his costume from Party City. The purple cape isn’t doing him any favors. Then, the man sat there and monologued for forty minutes, making jokes, telling us how he set the plot up, and how the multiverse worked.
I know Marvel gets flack for there always being an CGI climactic action scene, but…they had 6 episodes leading up to the Big Bad, and for it to end that anticlimactically with a man in a Party City purple cape was a letdown. The finale had no menace, no teeth. In the words of Mobius, it was just…talkie-talkie.
All in all, this show really suffered from ignoring Loki’s past, where he would realistically be emotionally-wise, and a lack of focus on its title character’s development. Settings and costumes being better/unique would be also be nice, especially given its popularity. At the end of the day, I don’t see the character I empathized so strongly with in this show.

Nico Minoru's Magic Part 2
Continued from Here.
So, Avengers Arena.
Avengers Arena is a story told by a writer who has no idea how the genre works and only a fair grasp of how the characters function at best.
This is easily demonstrated by what is established as Nico's status quo for the next few years in this book.
First off, Nico died. She casts a spell for help, and BOY does she get it.
In addition to once more supposedly 'bosting' her magic. She also gains a generic magical blast-attack without incantation, and the Flying Brick standard superhero package. A low end version. Marvel Universe grid method, she'd be at 5's for Strength, Speed, and Durability. Putting her in the same class as most of the 'bricks' in Marvel like Carol Danvers (uncharged), Teddy Altman, and Sif for Strength. Firebird or a basic Power Armor (Iron Man, Iron Heart) for speed, and Luke Cage, Rage, and Emma Frost for durability.
If that seems wholly generic, let that set the tone for the rest of what Nico has to go through for the next few years.
Fun Fact, the preview pages for this issue were actually released BEFORE the preview pages for #11 because her death caused that much backlash online.
Man, even re-reading it about a decade later still gets my stomach all twisted.
So, why should I suffer alone?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Avengers Arena #12
As you can tell, Dennis "Hopeless" Hallum (he chose the nickname for himself) really wants to try and be like Joss Whedon, but lacks the wit.
Having already established that Nico draws her power from negative emotional experiences -- Pain and Suffering, we have that wiped away for Blood. Gamifying the entire system. Now, we can keep track of her health bar (which they had in this series) and correlate it to her overall power access.
But here's the thing: Why should anyone believe Arcade?
In this series, he doesn't even make this Murdeworld, he commissions someone else to do it for him! And what occurs already fits in with multiple things of what is established (Pain/suffering fueling magic, the "Help" spell she cast with her dying breath). So it's REALLY easy to dismiss Arcade here as talking out of his ass.
I mean, this is comic books, we're used to stupidity ("I'm sealing up the fault lines, this is a good thing!"), but not with its own BS as much as this is.
So, it's easier to dismiss Arcade's claims as warrantless, because, really, why would you believe him? He's not just a liar, he's an idiot.
Especially in Arena, despite assertions to the contrary.
The next tidbit we get on Nico's new Magic Staff and Magic Arm of Super-Powered Disability doesn't come until the sequel series Avengers Undercover.
Because it makes dismissing Arcade as an idiot harder.
Tumblr media
Avengers Undercover #7
Yes, Alex came back with this series. No, it was actually worse than Arena because it's hook was underwhelming by comparison.
Anyway, while the reliance on "It's totally blood magic now, you guys!" dumbing down of Nico's power, the idea that she's coating in a magical energy field to explain her Strength/Speed/Durability is a pretty viable one.
But the Arm of Disability Super-Powers earns its name rather... handily.
And I am not sorry for that pun.
The analysis of Nico's combat strategy is ... also deeply lacking, but that's another topic.
Once Dennis Hallum was done (Fun Fact #2: Hallum fought for this issue's topic specifically even though by this point, he knew he had only 4 issues left to finish the series), Nico was put in Limbo... until A-Force.
Where interviewers noted that her inclusion was weird because of her... being nearly Hawkman'd.
No new Magic, but Nico continued to display Super Strength in the Secret Wars volume. Why?
Because she took down an Asgardian. Physically.
Not just that, but a MEMBER OF THE THOR CORPS!
Tumblr media
A-Force Vol. 1 #4
Arcadia Nico is ... Broken. Flat out Broken.
Anyway, when A-Force is formed in 616, Nico has a Power Up that is actually intelligent after the dumbing down of Dennis Hallum.
Tumblr media
A-Force vol. 2 #2
Here, we have Nico taking down a cosmic being in a word, growing in power with her pain and suffering in-line with the Vaughn and Whedon run, AND the most logical expansion of her powers: Linguistic Advancement.
In the series, she is shown speaking fluent Japanese, and using Estonian as a "Heal" word. With 6,500, she has a lot to go with!
Another clever use of her powers comes from using coordinates to teleport.
Tumblr media
A-Force vol. 2 #8
Elsewhere in the series, she gets to show off her powers by ... laying out She-Hulk, Captain Marvel, a Dazzler-Thor, and the rest of her teammates multiple times. Depowering them, knocking them out, etc. She also got to fight hard against mind control and subvert the worst of what her controller could do.
A-Force Nico is Peak Nico in terms of raw power.
But it does have some limits. She can keep multiple spells going at once, but doing so is hard for her. This may be an energy thing, but it may be a focus thing as well.
Tumblr media
A-Force vol. 2 #6
She does get to punch out the lady mind-controlling her later on, and in One Punch no less.
But after choking out a Valkyrie-Thor, that's pretty pat.
The next really big change to Nico's powers comes in the current Runaways volume (5) with the reveal of The One, a sorcerer who was turned into the Staff and made a deal to use his magic to the benefit of the original caster.
But this is still developing as a story, the 'rules', basically allowing him to parasitize her senses (and probably take full control of her body, you know how these things go). Is also alters the history of the Staff from an implicit long linage to starting with the Witchbreaker.
Which has once again made her more powerful, but it's a much worse deal.
And...it's still developing. I'm hoping it reveals to be her grimmshape, but only time will tell.
So I won't go into as much detail with this. We'll see where it goes.

Gifted
Title: Gifted (Sequel to Giftless)
CHAPTER NO./ONE SHOT: 61/?
AUTHOR: nekoamamori ORIGINAL IMAGINE:
Imagine that you are Stark’s niece and you secretly share a strong relationship with Loki since he entered the crew. One day you get hurt so bad during a mission that you are about to die.  Loki knows a spell that will save you and share his immortality with you but you and he will be linked forever sharing thoughts, pain, emotions…
RATING: T NOTES/WARNINGS:  Also on AO3 click here
Your magic spiked again and you clutched onto Loki, trying not to retch. “Shh, darling,” he whispered, stroking your hair as he held you to him. “Mother, what is going on?” Loki asked Frigga panic in his frantic voice.
“How many of those powers did Balder put into you, Daughter?” Frigga asked gently when the wave of powers and nausea eased.
You curled yourself in Loki’s arms, letting him hold you. You didn’t want to lose contact with him. You had nearly lost him. He’d almost died. He’d also almost died and taken you with him, but that was a completely different problem.  “I lost count, but at least fifty of those spheres, probably more,” you finally answered, trying to remember what had happened. It was all lost in the haze of magic and pain.
“No wonder your powers are so far out of control,” Frigga commented sadly.
“These powers aren’t mine,” you reminded her. You’d only been studying magic for two years, but Loki had been studying his entire life, and you had the knowledge he had gained thanks to the soulbond.
Frigga inclined her head in agreement. “That is the other problem. Your body is trying to adjust to all of these powers that are not yours, as well as the second souldbond. It is a lot of strain, especially all at once,”
“It’s true, then? Balder really did manage to establish a second soulbond?” Loki demanded, holding you tighter.  You were both horrified by the very thought of it.
Frigga nodded. “He did,” she indicated the blood red line of power that ran up your arms.
“Why are the soulbond marks on both arms now?” Loki asked, displaying his own decorated arms.
“You broke the original soulbond, darling. Reforging it takes more. More of your soul, more magic, more effort, more sacrifice. You will not get a third chance. If it breaks again, the backlash of the break will kill you both,”
“How do we break Balder’s soulbond?” you asked. “We can’t let him keep it. He has access to all of the powers he put in me, plus my own and maybe Loki’s too. We can’t let him keep access to all of those powers,” you reminded them both. Neither of them would look at you. “Tell me,” you directed that comment to Loki. You couldn’t order his Mother around, but he was fair game.
“The only reason I could break the bond was because I was dying. It split my mind to do it. You did the healing. You know exactly what happened to my mind,” Loki reminded you.  You’d had to go through his mind putting shards of him back together.
“I know. I put you back together.” You turned to Frigga. “Thank you for teaching me to do that, by the way.” She inclined her head. You turned back to Loki.  “We can’t let Balder keep this soulbond. We can’t. I won’t!” You insisted with tears in your eyes. You would not allow yourself to continue to be bound to him.  It was a violation and felt wrong and slimy, his being leeched into yours.
“I know, darling, I know. We’ll come up with a solution, I swear. We can’t allow him to have continued access to all of our powers,” Loki told you softly, holding you firmly and kissing the top of your head. He held you safe in his arms, but for the first time, you didn’t feel safe there, not with Balder having complete access to everything you were.
“Did anyone tell Uncle Tony we’re alive?” you asked them, remembering that small detail as well.  There were too many plates you were spinning and too much going on.
Loki nodded and gave you a reassuring look.  “I sent him a message. He has rudely demanded to come see for himself. I wanted to wait until you were awake before allowing that request. I would prefer for your uncle to not attempt to kill me. It is bad enough that my own brother is attempting such nonsense,”
“Is Thor home too?” you asked. He was left on Earth the last you had seen him.
“Yes, Heimdall brought him home after your battle with Balder. He should have burst through the door by now. Surely someone had told him you are awake…” Frigga pondered, but didn’t have to worry much longer. A moment later, Thor and Sif appeared, bursting into the room to come hug both you and the very reluctant Loki. You laughed and welcomed their presence while Frigga looked on amused from the safety of the sidelines. She looked immensely pleased that four of her children were currently cuddled in a pile on the bed.
“What happened during the battle?” you asked them. You had been so busy healing Loki that you hadn’t noticed what they were up to.
“We lost. Spectacularly.” Thor replied with a sheepish smile. “Balder always was a good fighter, and he has only gotten better. He also had backup. I do not know why he let us survive, though…”
“I do,” you told them softly, embarrassed. “Balder is an asshole,” you glanced at the queen, horrified by cursing in front of her, especially about her son. “Apologies, your majesty,” you told her formally.
“I seem to have gone temporarily deaf and have no idea what you said,” she replied with a kind smile.
“Anyway,” you continued quickly, your cheeks still red in embarrassment. “After you were defeated, Balder ripped me from the spells while I was healing Loki. He told me he’d make me a bargain, if I agreed to go with him, he’d let you live and let me keep Loki. It was the only way…” You’d hated that you’d had to agree to go with him, but you’d made the only choice that you could. Thankfully, they all agreed with your logic and that it had been the only way.
“He really sewed your mouth shut?” Frigga asked Loki, horrified, while you were all telling her everything you remembered from that night.
He stiffened at the memory, but nodded. “He wanted to silence the infamous liar,” Loki finally said softly. “I am just glad he did not decide to remove my tongue, as that would have been much more difficult for my lady to heal.” He kissed the top of your head again
“I nearly lost you as it was,” you reminded him. “And don’t you dare break the soulbond again.” you grumbled at him, jabbing a finger into his chest.  You weren’t letting him forget that lesson anytime this century.
“I will not, darling. You heard Mother. We would not survive a second breaking of it.”
“Children,” Frigga said to draw our attention back to her. “We need to know if Balder has access to your abilities, Loki,” she told you all gently, though her words were directed to Loki. You all looked equally confused at her.
“How are we supposed to know that?” Loki asked when she didn’t clarify. “We don’t know what powers he put into Kat,”
You thought over the experience. “What are his original powers?” you asked them.
“Water manipulation, like the water benders from that cartoon you made me watch,” Loki replied automatically, obviously wondering where you were going with this.
You thought it over a moment longer. “The powers he was collecting were to add to his own, he wouldn’t have given me water bending since he already has that one,” you’d latched onto Loki’s explanation. “So if I can do it now…” you directed that comment to Loki, questioningly. Logically, he would have access to the powers Balder had forced upon you, but Balder’s original powers he would only have if he could access them through Balder’s soulbond through you. If he could, then the opposite would work as well and the worlds were even more screwed until you took Balder down for good.
Loki looked impressed with your logic, but horrified by the implications. You saw him focus on the basin of water next to the bed.  He gestured at it in a very water-bending way and you gasped as the water rose out of the bowl.
The emotion in the room was palpable as everyone’s hearts sank at the realization of what that meant.

1-80 for whatever OC you want, go wild buddy i can't wait to read! 👀❤️
You saved me from boredom! Here’s my ver of Ornstein:
What is/are your OC’s nickname(s) and how did it come about? - Orn(y), The Lion/Lion Knight (1st one is what Ciaran & Artorias call him for short, 2nd one is made up by Artorias & last 2 are the most common strangers call him.)
What is the color of your OC’s eyes/hair/skin? - Yellow/gold, red (“Ariel red”), white.
How tall is your OC? - 9'
What is a noticeable physical attribute of your OC? - I’d say the length of his hair. In a ponytail it's halfway down his back. Loose it is down to his ankles.
What does your OC normally wear? What would your OC wear on a special night? - He's normally wearing his signature armor. For special nights (any day/night he’s not working) he wears a black shirt with rolled up sleeves and tight black pants.
What is one word you would use to describe your OC’s appearances? - Grumpy? Gruff?? Tired???
Does your OC have any markings, such as a birthmark or a scar? - Has a small flat mole under his right eye and small scar on the left of his forehead above his eyebrow (hard to see in my drawings but it’s there.)
How does your OC talk/what does your OC’s voice sound like? - I like to think of Bambi’s father from the 2nd movie but a tad less low (example at the end!)
What does your OC’s bedroom look like? His/her living area? - Ornstein (and Artorias’) living quarters have a bedroom which is a part of the “living room”. In separate rooms to the right there is a big bathroom, on the left a small kitchen. The main room is mainly dark golds and crimson while the bathroom and kitchen are white and gold.
What does your OC keep in a special drawer? - Lube...? Anything really special to him is either worn by him or hung up somewhere.
What is your OC’s relationship with his/her mother? - He left her around his teenage years to continue his training as a knight of Gwyn but his relationship with her was good. Every year on her birthday he silently prays that she is alive and well.
What is your OC’s relationship with his/her father? - His father died when he was around 2-3 so he doesn't remember him. He’s heard from his mother that he was a big and scary looking but a kind and gentle man. Had a pretty good sense of humor too.
How many siblings does your OC have and what is his/her relationship with them? - Had a sister 1 year younger than him. Around age 4 she went collecting herbs for their mother but got hungry along the way and mistook a poisonous plant for a safe one. Died later that night. Younger brother (around age 9) wished to hunt a manticore with Orn but Ornstein only got annoyed by the suggestion and kept training with his dummy. A hunter from the village returned from a hunting trip later to inform Orn’s mother that his brother was found dead near a manticore liar. He barley remembers his sister. Blames himself for his brother’s death.
Who is the mother and/or father figure in your OC’s life? - Lord Gwyn for a short time.
What was your OC’s childhood like? - Lived in a small village. Spent most of his younger years learning different herbs and medicine from his momma. When he got old enough (13) he spent the day learning to fight and hunt for food.
What is your OC’s strongest childhood memory? Why and how did that impact him/her? - Strongest childhood memories are his mother singing a lullaby to help him sleep, learning of his brother’s death, and silver knights visiting his village to look for possible future knights to train.
What is your OC’s imagination like? - Does Not have a huge imagination. His mind is filled with work, possible outcomes of problems and wishing to just relax with his husband. If not any of those than it's memories of wars with dragons and the occasional memory of NK and him hanging together. They had a friend/brotherly relationship.
How many times did your OC move as a child? Which area was his/her favorite? - Moved around a few times as a child when monsters proved too great a threat. Did not have a favorite location. They were all very similar.
What does your OC think of children either in general or about having them? - Does not really have an opinion on them at first. He gets easily annoyed so he is never around them (+ his work doesn't involve them.) In the kids AU he wished to create children with Artorias and they ended up making 2.
What kind of mother/father would your OC be? - Sadly not a good one. He thought he was ready but ultimately wasn't. He ends up treating his kids more like his soldiers as he is so used to being the captain and giving orders. He was also never home to connect with them.
Who are your OC’s closest relatives? - Mother.
Who is/are your OC’s closest friend(s)? - He considers Gough to be his closest friend. They both just enjoy being in each other's company. No talking necessary.
Who are the people your OC surrounds him/herself with? - The other 3 knights of Gwyn. Gough, Ciaran, and last but not least his partner Artorias.
Who are the people your OC dislikes/hates? - He doesn't really hate anyone specific but for a while he was not too fond of NK for betraying his father and siding with the dragons. As you'd expect. Sometimes he dislikes Lord Gwyn for sending Artorias on such dangerous missions by himself.
If your OC has a soulmate, who is it? - Artorias.
Why does your OC and his/her soulmate work so well together? - They balance each other out I guess. If opposites attract” is true then they are living proof. Ornstein taught Artorias what real love was and how to trust. Artorias was the first person he ever had feelings for and he also learned how to just have fun and relax while being around him.
What are some things your OC admires about his/her soulmate? - The first thing that caught his attention besides Artorias’ looks were his unique fighting skills.
How did your OC and his/her soulmate meet? - Artorias appeared one day as a stranger to Anor Londo and sought out Lord Gwyn. He introduced himself and told of his strengths. Gwyn agreed to introduce him to The Captain, Ornstein, to see if he was capable of being a good, trustworthy knight.
What is your OC’s level of education? - Learned how to differentiate herbs and medicine at a young age. As a teen and onward he got most of his knowledge from personal experience and reading.
Did your OC participate in extracurricular activities, and if so, what were they? - None.
What is your OC’s opinion of school? What kind of student was s/he? - He believes knowledge is good but doesn't really trust schools. If you were his child you would be homeschooled and be reading large texts all day :)
What subjects did your OC excel at? - Fighting and commanding others!
What subjects interested your OC? - He enjoys reading and sometimes writing short stories.
What is your OC’s dream job and/or current profession? - Being a knight of Gwyn - Knight commander.
How is your OC working towards his/her dream job and/or achieving his/her current profession? - Gwyn saw lots of potential in young Ornstein and so he got training almost immediately.
What are your OC’s thoughts/opinions of his/her current profession? - Is honored of his position but sometimes wishes he could just quit and rest.
What is your OC’s biggest dream? - Already came true. He wished to impress Gwyn enough to be the knight captain (check!) and later wished to soulbond with Artorias (double check!)
How does your OC react to and handle stress? - Likes to be alone with his thoughts. Gets easily annoyed and grumpy (more so than usual). Is prone to yell more often at times but usually reminds himself a good commander does not let their emotions get the better of them.
How does your OC handle anger? - You’ll hear a lot of lighting and shouting in the training grounds aka he is breaking every single training dummy. If not all this then you’re being yelled at by him cause you did something wrong or are trying his patience.
How does your OC handle grief? - Same as above except he'll eventually tire himself out, curl up and cry on the ground. Would also probably destroy things of no importance to him in his quarters. The only time he’d feel this much grief was if his mate or child was to die. Normally if he is grieving he is very quiet. If he loses a comrade in battle he’ll spend a couple minutes praying for them at night and give them a moment of silence.
What is your OC’s greatest fear? - Losing Artorias and disappointing the city of Anor Londo.
What makes your OC happy? - Spending time with Artorias.
What kind of sense of humor does your OC have? - Dry.
What are some things that greatly upset your OC? - Disrespect. Peasants, knights, etc should stay in their place.
What are some things that annoy your OC? - Artorias. Sif.
If your OC has them, what are some regrets s/he has? - Not choosing to go after his brother.
How easily does your OC forgive? - Not easily. Is very forgiving when it comes to Artorias tho.
What are some of your OC’s vices? - None. In more modern times it would be smoking.
If your OC experienced trauma, what was it? - War and betrayal.
What secrets does your OC have? - None.
What are some of your OC’s morals? - Respect your elders.
