#ramblings of a lunatic#asks#i think it's music she'd have always liked but that she appreciates more after she comes back to the human realm if that makes sense#luz is angstier and more mature in season 3 and i think her music taste would reflect that#a lot more singer-songwriter stuff and a lot more folkpunk whereas before she mostly liked the stuff that scratched her brain best#ALSO I've already mentioned before on here that i hc manny taught luz to play guitar (was v vindicated when there was one in the basement)#and i think Luz probably didn't learn the fundamentals so much as she learned a couple of tunes and learned how to noodle around#so while she can't necessarily go and look up the chords for a song and sit down and learn it she CAN learn chunks by ear#she woulda done that w/ julieta venegas i think#I'm far from an expert on her discography and I'd have to actively refresh myself but i think Luz would grow to really love Me Voy#slightly obvious maybe but it just makes sense?
