I love when LotRO uses your class in casual conversation like this because it basically always makes sense for Hunters. Like, aside from the fact that that's an actual job with actually quite a lot of integration into the lore, it just tends to flow well in whatever context the game decides to whip it out in. A bit uncreative, but a reasonable name for a bounty-hunter, right.

How on earth am I supposed to take myself seriously when I come back and replay these quests on a Beorning? Especially since this is supposed to be a disguise. "Well, you see, my grandfather was named --"

#lotro #spoilers of umbar #and then when they're just like 'oh i see you are a <class> of some skill'#a marvelous complement! this npc is impressed with me! unless im playing a burglar #'oh i see youre a thief. and good at it. good for you.' how tf am i supposed to interpret that #back to the beorning example quick question how does isildur know what a beorning is #i mean sure ill accept that they had them back in the day #but how does he know what theyre called these days. beorn wasnt alive during the last alliance #was that like the one thing gulthava told him #edit: i actually went and double checked the quest text on the wiki and apparently SOMETIMES they have isildur beat around the bush about it #but sometimes he just says it #also they couldnt have had them back then #because doesnt lotro take the stance thst beornings learned to change from radagast #and he wouldnt have arrived yet #so no they didnt have beornings back then
