“It’s no use!”

I made myself a Silver hoodie, and I am now one of the happiest people on earth!

I had so much fun with this project. I have wanted a Sonic hoodie forever, but all the ones I found either sucked, would not ship to anywhere near me, or were only for little kids. Well, I know how to sew so I made it happen for myself!

This design is something I came up with myself, using elements from Silver’s character design and one of the game elements from Sonic ‘06. I also wanted to make it like something I feel like he might wear. This is a super exciting thing for me because this is the first time I’ve made one of my own designs come to life! I will never get rid of this thing, and it might have to be buried with me! The many hours of tedious math, color matching/dyeing, hardcore struggling, running out of materials, and adding a couple extra elements on a whim, all of it was absolutely worth it! It’s one of the most comfortable things I own, and I am so proud of myself! I ended up using this design for a Silver cosplay, which I will show off after I fix the stuff that fell apart at the convention. RIP my boots.

Anyways, I tend to be a more art-centered blog, so here’s a doodle of Silver wearing it too! I’ll do a better drawing later. I just really wanted to show this off!

Watching a movie in the background, and glanced up to see a scene where the main character spills her drink all over some dude, then proceeds to give him a sweater her sister hand knitted and made special for her, saying it’s too baggy anyway and really, he should have it.

I am so pissed on behalf of this fictional sister.
