Not to dropkick a hornets nest or anything but I think a lot of you have really lost the plot on the whole internet privacy thing.
#mine#text post#posts about nothing for no one#I don’t want to expand too much because this isn’t a fully formed thought#but like#it kind of seems like a lot of people are simply committed to never paying for anything ever#or having any sort of repercussions for online activity at any point#which like. fair enough. but framing it as some existential fight for human rights#and not Capitalism: The Escape Room feels a little lame to me#you cannot all possibly be high level internet criminals with developed ethics systems#a tracked ad or two is cosmically horrifying to a degree but it’s not a threat of violence
