This is how he felt in the depths of The Abyss. His two-toned grey fur shone in the reflections of nothing, whilst his body floated aimlessly in the void.

It was peaceful, in this part of The Abyss, even the floating part. Here in The Inbetween, gravity didn’t exist, unless you willed it to.

But Smoky didn’t.

Not yet, at least.

He liked floating. He didn’t like falling.

It wasn’t The Guardian’s fault.
