[ID: A Scum Villain Comic. Panel one depicts Luo Binghe having been stabbed in the abdomen by Xiu Ya/SJ!Shen Qingqiu. LBH's arms are slightly raised in surprise. It then shows SQQ with an angered expression, his arm slightly swinging down as if retracting his sword and saying "No. I was right! You. Are nothing but a little BEAST." LBH reels back with a shocked and hurt expression at his words as his hands have raised to cover the wound in his abdomen.

Panel two depicts SQQ pushing his other hand outward with a qi blast towards LBH, as his other hand has pulled back with a now bloodied sword. Wtih a determined expression SQQ states "Now go where you belong." To which LBH raising one hand up as if to defend himself in horror replies in a small voice "Wait-" It then cuts to a view of the ends of SQQ's robes and LBH's left hand reaching upwards as he falls backwards into the Endless Abyss.

Panel three shows how LBH's hand/arm is suddenly grabbed by Gongyi Xiao. Chibi!LBH looks up in concerned surprise, saying "Gongyi-?" GYX now reaching down with both arms with a concerned and frightened expression yells "Hold on Shidi!"

The final panel first depicts all characters in a chibi style. A cracking noise is shown that causes GYX to stumble downwards with a surprised expression going "Wh-" before both him and LBH fall into the Abyss. Wtih GYX still holding onto LBH's arm and LBH looking up towards him in horror as bits of rubble from the cliff face fall behind them. End ID]

Poor Shen Jiu doesn’t know the half of it when it comes to Wei Wuxian’s self sacrificing tendencies but he knows enough that when his mate’s idiot children start showing the same he immediately tries to beat some self preservation into their thick skulls before they try to sacrifice themselves only for A-Ying to do something even stupider to keep them alive.

yknow now that i think about it. its really weird that they never made a movie version of wicked? its like one of thheeeee biggest well known musicals i know stage musical dont like. Super Frequently get movies made but that still seems really???? insane???? that they didnt do wicked????? i mean id still rather have nice rcordings of stage plays avaliable to watch but like ID TAKE WHAT I COULD GET YKNOW!!!!!!

We are revisiting Tataroo Valley!

Hahaha, those two XD I don't think I see Tear teasing anyone quite like Luke, really. Or being as open about her feelings so easily.

But now I really wonder how much time actually passed between then and now? Weeks? Months? It's so hard to tell in video games. It feels pretty long to ME and it has only been hours. The difference must be charring for the actual characters! I think especially Luke has come a super long way! But more on that now:

I think. It's hard to tell with Tear sometimes. But in the end, I think Luke was just faster to say what Tear meant by saying that she does not feel bad about involving him anymore: "I'm glad it happened"

(are they end game pairing? I feel like the game is pushing the agenda a bit here but I am TERRIBLE at sensing any romantical intent, so.)

At this point, I will admit to using a guide to find the "Mieu Wings" here. (Listen I suck at finding stuff unless it's by accident XD )

... I havent reached so far in the anime yet, but I want a Super Sayajin transformation sequence for this

Woah, we really DID fall... somewhere, with the entire village in tow. And is that all miasma? Oh dear.

Aaaaand now the fallout because Luke will be blamed, I see it coming.

After everything that happened, we could stand for the party to be upfront with each other for once. Jade I'm also looking at you here.

I guess Tear hails from around here? Is that possible? I would have thought it's not living area, but when there is a city, it's possible.

I think Luke has firmly hit grief-stage "DENIAL" right now.

Woah. So the entire world we saw right now is just the outer layer, and it's floating atop the Sephiroths? That's insane. Very creativ world building! Now how do we get out again

ARE YOU KIDDING ME -

*deep breath* Okay. Okay.

I will say that the party is in a very difficult, emotional spot right now. They ALL failed to stop the disaster. They just saw an entire town vanish while they were in it - including the little boy they couldn't save after the fall, who sank. So they all feel terrible, and guilty and powerless.

And Luke is an easy scapegoat, because he IS the one who used the power to destroy the pillar. BUT. Tear - knew your brother couldn't be trusted when this story began. You tried to kill him, I will say that so often I get sick of it. And STILL you withheld information, did let Luke spend time alone with him, and never once explained what is going on, or what you suspect Van of.

Jade - knew what was going on with the replicas the entire time, knew that Luke was being kept in the dark and could be controlled by Asch, and you still kept your mouth shut about it all the entire time.

Ion - basically the same thing as Jade, since in Deo Pass, he confirms to knowing about the replica thing and even stops Jade from saying it. Also, he opened the door for Van DESPITE the fact that the entire party does not fully trust Van, and pointing out himself that the door has nothing to do with saving the citizens.

Natalia - knew that Van and Luke were conspiring with something, and yes, pinky swear yadda yadda, but that does not stop the fact that she never stopped to question Luke on why he wanted to run away, what was the plan, or tell the party about it all.

Guy - you know that Luke is different, you know that he can be controlled, you know what's going on with Sync, and still you said nothing. You never stepped up when Luke was acting irrational, only ever told the party that "maybe we should do something" but never did.

So basically, yes. Luke was manipulated into destroying the pillar, which caused the catastrophe. And it's no good that he pushes that blame away entirely, he needs to face that. But I say firmly he was manipulated - a manipulation seven years in the making since that is how long Van has been influencing him into trusting him and doing as he says. Luke is as much victim here as the rest. And to add onto that, the entire PARTY has made terrible mistakes all along the road, mistakes which very well could have been the decisive thing in why this has happened, and how this could have been stopped.

Nobody here is innocent - the most innocent one probably being Anise and Mieu.

I think they are all so ladden down guilt themselves, they welcome the opportunity to push it off.
