Imagining there’s a whole language for flame users based off of what colors they’re wearing particularly when it comes to skies. Like everyone tends to lean into wearing the color of their own flame. Occasionally you will see someone throw on a splash of orange if they are looking for a sky but for a sky? For a bonded sky? Wearing the color of one of their guardians is seen as giving them favor, of holding them above all others, of claiming them publicly even more than their bond has already claimed them.

All this to say Tsuna wears a red shirt and Hayato, the only one that understands the unspoken rules, runs face first into a wall

I know someone sent me an ask kind of related to this and I can’t find it so sincerely my bad for not answering that but I will scream about it anyway

Guardians who are possessive over their Skies but also Skies who are possessive back. Skies who are known to be willing to do anything to protect what they consider theirs. Fights between two skies being legendary from their brutality. Most skies not able to stand any other sky around their guardians even to the extent of siblings or children.

Tsuna, of course, is the exception to this behavior.

It starts with Dino. With Reborn watching his two students with wary eyes, ready to jump between them at the first sign of tension. But it never comes. Instead Tsuna calls his former student Dino-nii and Dino, who Reborn had seen nearly attack another sky for breathing in Romario’s direction, smiles and drops an arm around Tsuna’s shoulders, pressing his face into his wild spikes.

Then is Xanxus. Their first few meetings were far more in line with typical skies, all fury and violence and bloodshed, but by the time they had been hurled into the future there was something… softer in how Xanxus treated his student. Not as openly affectionate as Dino of course but not nearly way would have been expected particularly when Lussuria grabbed Tsuna in a hug.

Even Uni warned up to Tsuna almost immediately, pressing close to him and resting her head on his shoulder in the scant few moments of peace they were able to find. At least Byakuran’s fury at losing her is understandable of a raging sky. As is Tsuna’s after Uni gave everything to beat him.

(That fury is all but vanished once they return to the past, and Reborn wants to bash his head into the nearest wall when Byakuran himself comes to flirt with his student as he offers an alliance with Uni’s team.)

In truth the only sky that Tsuna shows true and consistent distrust and contempt for is none other than Iemitsu. (Reborn will never forget the growl Tsuna let out when Iemitsu dropped Lambo. Will never forget the way Tsuna snatched the children away with bared teeth and orange tinted eyes. Will never forget the certainty that if Nana hadn’t called for iemitsu at that moment there would have been bloodshed from his usually docile student)

Reborn wonders at the anomaly that is his student before ultimately deciding it was beneficial for a boss to be able to forge alliances with equally powerful skies without bloodshed and not worth the effort of worrying about.

Imagining khr but with Tsuna and his guardians (minus Lambo) being like college aged and all in the same dorm building and what starts it all off is Tsuna opening his door one day after pulling a week of all nighters for midterms to see Reborn telling him he is his tutor just:

Reborn: I am here to make you a mafia boss

Tsuna, squinting with eyes that refuse to focus, 2 sips of energy drink away from cardiac arrest, has been ignoring what is either the hat man or the specter of death itself lurking by his closet for two hours: how many credits is that worth?

I’m starting to realize that my go to ship type is “visibly depressed” and “equally depressed but smiling because if they don’t they will shatter completely” and this probably says more about my mental state than I’m comfortable with.

Thinking more of the “ancestors can hear Desmond” AU but am too tired to have like full thoughts so like rapid fire?

Desmond gets so used to checking for feathers with Ezio that he does it unconsciously. Connor doesn’t know why Desmond is so intent on finding feathers but he never fails to pick one up when Desmond points it out

Haytham couldn’t hear Desmond. It weirded Desmond out so bad he immediately desynchronized twice because he was so used to having sarcastic mental commentary with Altair and Ezio.

During the memory seals Altair could hear both Desmond and Ezio. It was not a pleasant experience for any of them the first time

Desmond gets songs stuck in their heads that won’t exist for hundreds of years in languages that they have never heard.

Desmond definitely accidentally taught baby Connor to curse in Italian and Arabic. This was mostly an accident.

Ezio and Desmond bicker about home design like an old married couple. (Desmond was right that one painting did look better two inches to the left)

Desmond has told all three of them at some point or another that he is pretty sure he is going to die soon (templars, coma, end of the fucking world) which was what started their need to find a way into the future to help him because none of them could handle thinking about Desmond’s death.

When he’s not in the animus Desmond will occasionally ask something and frown like he was expecting a response he always gets very quiet afterwards and the rest of the team pretends they didn’t notice.

Ezio had to put on a whole show of being surprised when Minerva started talking to Desmond directly (all of them agree whatever the Isu are planning the less they know about Desmond the better). He was not very convincing truth be told.
