It's pretty clear that they're friends, from the way the talk to/about each other (see Ada's "Ian always misses the weird stuff" before the sleepy garden level and Ian's "If Paige ever tells you "Ian always misses the weird stuff," she's wrong" in the meet and tweet tutorial) and just???? They clearly care for each other it's vv sweet

Also i think ada has a higher empathy (seen from the way she tries to help everyone like in the scene after 2-1N and how ian said "you [the intern] remind me of Ada, haha" after he says the intern is selfless for treating the miner)

Whereas Ian has lower empathy (seen also in the scene after 2-1N and the cutscene with Hailey before act 4). I wouldn't say he doesn't care, but he certainly can come off as tactless. They balance each other out :]

I need any content centered on them like. When and where did they meet. When and why did they become friends. Do they do things together in their very limited spare time? Inquiring minds (me) would like to know. Not just for shipping fuel (this is just a bonus) but because their friendship is so sweet ugh

Also wanna know ada's feelings abt the rd program and how it affected her and Ian's relationship (i doubt it's gonna be a Big thing but it's a thing yk?)
