Hello! I hope this doesn't sound rude but is there a possible time when you will update Home is Where the Heart is? It's a really good fanfic and I'm excited for the next chapter, remember to take your time, no pressure ^^
DW YOU DONT SOUND RUDE AT ALL!! <3! while i dont have a set date for the next chapter, i can say that i will definitely put out the next one before the end of the year. which is vague and im sooo sorry its taking so long. i can say with certainty i plan to see hiwthi (and also my other fics) to the end. even if it might take. a while. orz;;

Hallo!! It’s me again, back on my Stobotnik bullshit (I never left) and I have multiple questions about your MerStone AU (which I love with all my heart)
What does Stones internal structure even LOOK like?! Are his organs In similar places?? I figure he’s similar enough to human biology-not counting the literal fishtail but like??? I was re reading Hook Line and Fishtails (my beloved) and I’m wondering how the hell Botnik even managed to “fix up” stone at all. Like what about BLOOD TYPE?!?!? Like horses have 400,00 different blood type combinations who KNOWS how weird mer biology is
I would apologize for how long I forgot to check my asks but this is just par for the course at this point (ノД`)
Fortunately Stone is a mammal, so his organs are in roughly the same places as a human. His bones are the biggest difference, they're more dense than human bones and have the ability to expand and contract away from each other depending on water pressure/gravity. Robotnik has spent a ton of time examining Stone's insides via scans, so he's pretty familiar with where everything is in there. (How romantic!)
As for blood type, I based a lot of Stone's anatomy off of other marine mammals like dolphins, and most marine mammals tend to have A/B blood types just like humans (although they lack the "O") so blood transfusions are easy enough!
