VIDEO NR 4️⃣ LOST IN THE UNIVERSE 🤘🎸💪 Hugo – For me, this is the definitive song by Psychic Equalizer, at the moment. It is clearly a prog song that shows how this project has evolved, especially with our two last studio releases. It shows the kind of sound that we are aiming for as a band at the moment. Carlos – We are mixing classical music, rock and progressive metal. There’s a lot within this song. It represents my musical input in this band, and I believe Psychic Equalizer is also defined by it. ---- La banda habla sobre el proceso creativo detrás de la grabación del nuevo EP 'Revealed'. Video nº 4: LOST IN THE UNIVERSE Hugo – Para mi esta canción es el buque insignia de Psychic Equalizer ahora mismo. Una canción claramente progresiva que demuestra la evolución del proyecto, especialmente con estos dos últimos trabajos de estudio. El sonido por el que apostamos ahora mismo con esta banda. We @psychic.equalizer talk about the creative process and the making of the new EP 'Revealed'. VIDEO 3️⃣ AWAY.💪🎸🤘 India – ‘Away’ is the first song that I’ve written for Psychic Equalizer together with our guitarist Carlos. We developed the structure of the song and I worked on the melody and the lyrics. The lyrics refer to the awful situation faced by many asylum seekers who are locked up indefinitely in detention centres. Carlos – This is an acoustic format which we haven’t done before: acoustic guitar and voice together. We also made some arrangements for string quartet – I think it works really well. I tried to put this kind of vibe of Spanish guitar and a bit Latin, all together. ---- La banda habla sobre el proceso creativo detrás de la grabación del nuevo EP 'Revealed'. Video nº 3: AWAY. India – ‘Away’ es la primera canción que he escrito para Psychic Equalizer junto a nuestro guitarrista Carlos. Trabajamos en la estructura juntos y yo me encargué de la melodía y la letra. La letra habla sobre la terrible situación en la que muchos refugiados se encuentran de manera indefinida en centros de detención. Carlos – No habíamos hecho este tipo de formato acústico antes: guitarra acústica y voz. También compusimos un arreglo para cuarteto de cuerda que pienso que funciona muy bien. VIDEO NR.2️⃣ SUMMER CLOUDS. 💪🤘 Adrian – we are talking about a song that Hugo and I composed when we were 17 or 18 years old. It's the first song we wrote together. It brings me a lot of joy to see it finally published, after so many years. Hugo – I believe one of the best things in our new EP is the arrangements for this song. A wonderful string arrangement. All the small percussion. India's vocal lines. It's a rock ballad but with a special depth to it. ---- La banda habla sobre el proceso creativo detrás de la grabación del nuevo EP 'Revealed'. Video nº 2: SUMMER CLOUDS. Adrian – Estamos hablando de una canción que tiene 15 años por lo menos. Hugo y yo teníamos 17 o 18 años cuando la compusimos juntos. La primera canción que escribimos y es una alegría poder verla publicada después de tantos años. Hugo – Yo creo que una de las cosas que mejor han quedado en este EP son los arreglos en este tema. Un maravilloso arreglo de cuerdas, por el cual Adrian tiene gran parte del mérito. Las percusiones pequeñitas. Los arreglos de voz que ha hecho India... We talk about the creative process and the making of the new EP 'Revealed'. @psychic.equalizer @hugo.selles @muska12345 VIDEO NR. 1️⃣ UNVEILED.💪🤘 Hugo – I had the idea to include this track in the new EP two weeks before the recording. It took me two minutes to convince the others. Once they heard the main melody they said: “we have to record this”. And it all went pretty well! India – Unveiled is one of my favourite songs by Psychic Equalizer. Although it deals with quite a serious subject matter in the lyrics, it has a really fun and upbeat vibe to it with the distinctive synth riffs and little sound effects here and there. ---- La banda habla sobre el proceso creativo detrás de la grabación del nuevo EP 'Revealed'. Video nº 1: UNVEILED. Hugo – tuve la idea de incluir esta canción en el nuevo EP tan solo dos semanas antes de la grabación. Tardé dos minutos en convencer a los demás, tras oir la melodía principal dijeron: “esto hay que grabarlo.” ¡Y la verdad es que todo salió bastante bien! India – Unveiled es una de mis canciones preferidas de Psychic Equalizer.
