STRANDED

Your WOL is stranded in an uncharted, unfamiliar place.

Besides gpose, I have always loved taking landscape screenshots (maybe even more than gposing, actually). I started fishing in ESO (yes, I'm a huge ESO player, but that's another story) last year, and that's when the idea of immortalizing scenery came to my mind.

I've met many people who say ESO is ugly compared to FFXIV's graphics, and I have to disagree. The world is so lively and has so many details that it's incredibly easy to take good pictures (I'll probably share them in the future). Of course, it looks even better with a reshade and some tweaks, but the world itself is already so immersive.

Anyway, back to FFXIV. Unfortunately, I didn't take landscape screenshots while going after every big fish (only two left! ( •̀ᄇ• ́)ﻭ✧), but I'll definitely come back to catch them a second time *not anytime soon please god* every location so I can create my own fishing log scenery. That will be amazing, hehe.

I recently discovered that you can return to instances with Exploration Mode, so I guess I'm going on an adventure to capture every beautiful place FFXIV has to offer.

I'm starting this series with Shadowbringer's dungeon, Dohn Mheg—obviously an easy pick. This place has such vivid colors and a nature-inspired theme; it's pretty hard to go wrong with this one.

the other day i got a good deal on a figmental coffer (someone was selling it in limsa for less than market price) so now aurore gets to be an Extremely Pink And Obnoxious DRK. i've wanted this sword for her since it came out and i'm unreasonably excited to level DRK while being a pink catgirl. it's the little things.

(also, could i have taken goobbue out of this shot? of course, but that would have been disingenuous.)

You probably danced sprightly for this one at some point! Another Vanilla gpose down. This one is using color filter "Pastel 1" and some depth of field to get the background effect. Going into this challenge I wasn't sure what NPC I wanted to gpose, I just knew I didn't want it to be anyone from the main cast and I wanted it to be someone from ARR. #3. NPC

Merlwyb Bloefhiswyn never ventured out to confront the Sahagin fleet, never killed her tempered father, never made admiral of the Maelstrom and never took on the leadership role of Limsa Lomisa. She also never discovers the “New World” (Tural) and negotiates trade agreements with them.

Instead, a pirate lord rules Limsa with a pride and plunder mentality. They are second in line of the threat to Ul’dah, Gridania, Doma and Tural; just below the Garleans. Mist Beard is slaughtered along with his crew. The bloody executioners are the lawless peacekeepers.

Negotiations with the tribes of Eorzea never take place. Sahagin, Kobald, Amalj'aa, and the like continue to pose a threat as well. Which means that tribes like the Kojin in Doma, the Matanga in Radz at Han, and the many tribes in Tural are all seen as a threat too.

How would the world have changed if the daughter of Pirate Lord Bloefhis Bloefhisyn had followed in his footsteps or perished before she became the Admiral of Limsa Lominsa?
