Socks and Buskins

- theatrical theme unit

- trio (Sierra, José, and Frecil) producer Cherry

- Co-founded by José and Frecil

- Three "roles/characters" Queen(Sierra), King (José), and Jester (Frecil) (inspired by Oberion, Titania, and Puck from Midsummers night)

- Each song tells/contiunes a story (Written by José)

- Works on perception and comedy/tragedy hence the name

- Originally from sister Yumenosaki school in New York

- Supposed to avoid: Most units but especially: Fine, Switch, Ryuseitai, Eden, Crazy:B, UnDead, annnd Anzu (all Cherry's order)

José Diaz

- made leader, much to his dismay, by Frecil

- selective mute due to anxiety/speech issues, which is why being an idol + being able to sing and write is very important to him

- has a prosthetic for his forearm and foot

- is generally the one keeping the unit together. Very goodboy

- secret Valk fan (small crush on both Shu and Mika wtf get help)

- inferiority complex

- aloof, but easily flustered

- likes Sanrio a lot

- writes the songs with Frecil

- trying to be a good leader, but gets overshadowed by Cherry/Sierra

- you think he's the moon, but he's actually a sun

- has a star motif

Sierra Rivera

- this girl has some issues and she's making it your problem

- overly sweet to the point that it's sickly, she's condescending on purpose

- trouble maker, does things to either piss you off or love her

- starts fights for fun

- does have a hearing aid (more research will be done)

- tones down her sweet act around the juniors, but not much

- very outgoing, but also very double face

- she will talk about you behind your back and then play buddy-buddy with you

- doesn't want to be forgetten (plot)

- has a deal with Frecil

- step-sister with Frecil (their relationship is...complicated)

- another sun, but so bright it hurts

- broken heart motif

- choreographer of the group

Frederico "Frecil" Rivera

- eldest and most experienced of the trio, but shortest

- plays into a childish role to get you to underestimate them, knows more than they let on

- theater kid

- yes, they are in the vents, yes they are sleeping underneath your bed. You can't escape them

- is legally blind and uses a white cane, despite this they are incredibly reckless

- due to events in their third/senior year, they were held back

- already did their time in the light, now they're acting as a teacher to José and...Sierra, although their teaching methods is different. (José has soft love, Sierra tough love)

- Aka they're playing a supporting/defense role, does know how to work behind scenes.

- composes the songs for Socks and Buskins

- Heiress to a company in Germany

- Had grown up hopping between Germany and Japan

- is German and Japanese

- Despite being a rich kid, kinda grew "normally" compared to the other rich kids

- Is very much built and towers over Rinne and Kuro

- She knows how to box and is constantly looking to learn other fighting form

- Very stoic and doesn't trust others/overprotective to the point that it's stiffling

- Ceo of OuterGalaxies (Oc Idol Industry)

- Does soften up towards the youngins (Aira, maybe Kohaku.. Sora..deffo Sora)

- Is surprisingly good at making candies

- Doesn't like fighting, but will end them if she needs to (thx sierra)

- Yes, you're getting a background check. Yes she knows about you.

- have stolen cigarettes from people, especially when she's stressed

- 2nd year student but uhh, how does school work?

- enroll in producer course on pure impulse/wasn't thought out

- extremely impulsive/reckless at times

- you think they would freeze when there's a fire, but you're wrong (isn't afraid of death)

- is very hard to scare and tends to be rather expressionless

- kinda like a jotoro situation where they think she's expressing their emotion, but they're really not?

- only when extremely flustered/confused does she express

- is studying you

- naive in the sense of people, but not in the sins of the world

- knows more then she let's on, let's say the dead don't keep their secrets

- trying to separate herself from her family's gifts

- is very easy to influence/tends to mimic the people she's studying

- has beef with Eichi

- can and will go guard dog for Tomoya/Anzu

- Produces Rab*its

- Makes knitted phone charms (with wards inside them) for Tomoya and Anzu

- this ends up with all the cast getting a charm from Diwa

SOCKS AND BUSKINS: ENSTARS OCS UNIT!:

Okay, okay. So it's a three unit group that had theater motifs, each song is supposed to be a story and deal with comedy/tragedy (hence the name). The unit members are José Díaz(Silent King), Sierra Rivera (Double-faced Queen), and "Frecil" Frederico Rivera(Blind Jester).

I'm still trying to figure out the uniforms for the unit, but I'm thinking of basing it off the fairy court from Midsummer's night (Oberan, Tirana, and Puck) or something similar to that aspect. Keep switching between light greens/earth tones and more royal colors. All I know is that each unit member will have some motifs for their character that they play.

Each song is supposed to tell a story—first starting off with one of the characters (Jester, Queen, or King) setting the stage and telling the audience what they think is happening verus what's actually happening. Much like a musical or play. Each character has a different point of view of each event/past songs, and it changes from either tragic to comedic really quickly. I want to explore the relationship between tweaking a story/how comedy and tragedy are linked/etc. And how easy it is to change the perceptive.

Funny enough, all the idols in this unit are trans—I didn't realized this until a few weeks ago.

Also, disabled as well—José has a arm prosthetic and is selective mute while Frecil is legally blind. This does cause some issues with getting shows done, it just means that they have to do things a little differently. Something I'm willing to explore more.

Sierra has a hearing aid, but I need to do more research into hearing aids/hearing loss—so please be patient with me^^!

The Silent King and The Blind Jester are supposed to be semi-foils. The story of Socks and Buskins is still being fleshed out atm.

José is actually the writer for the story with Frecil being the co-writer. Frecil composes the music and Sierra does the choreography.

The unit was founded by both Frecil and José. Despite Frecil being very, very, experienced in the idol world—they gave the leadership/"King" position to José. Frecil acts more like a guide/mentor towards José and sometimes Sierra. Sierra and Frecil are recent step-siblings (both their mothers met due to the creation of the unit, yes its hell)

Aela "Cherry" Barbasdotter is their sole producer. She's been with the unit since near the start of its creation and damn, very very overprotective to the point that its suffocating.

Anyway, that's it so far~! I'm really excited to, well, get character sheets down for these guys~! I've been working on them for quite a while, and kinda just upped the silliness/antics a bit more due to the media being—well— Enstars. Also, I wanted to touch roots with my amateur theater kid sooo~!

Child of stars. Little King. Always looking above, always looking elsewhere. How can he compare when he's nothing? Lost in others to realize his truth? Oh, but he sings such sweet stories��if only one wants to listen.

Water is often seen as something pure, something clean, something that is...holy. in a sense? To wash away the dirt, to wash away the stress of the day, to wash away the sins (in a sense)

Yet, for some reason—some odd reason— my characters have something unholy, something dirty, that is associated with water, or ponds of water. I wonder if I subconsciously like to silently corrupt the concept of water for them, turning it on its head and exploring its themes. Or maybe I'm just like, a weird ass person.

There's plenty of ocs I have, I'm assuming enstars oc, correct? Hmm, let's do Cherry~♡

♡- Aela "Cherry" Barbasdotter-♡

Cherry is from Germany, but grew up in Japan—taking frequent trips between Germany and Japan throughout her childhood. Despite being an heiress to her fathers' company, she decided to pick up producing due to her interest in the idol industry. She mostly produces for my idol oc unit "Socks and Buskins", although if Anzu needs help with another unit.... 👀

She's 6'0 and strong, having skills in boxing and weight lifting...but she also can bake quite as well and has been working on sewing (not the best).

Cherry is rather stoic, often times using her intimidating stature to scare people off—although don't let that fool you, she's actually a worrywort softie at heart. Where Sierra starts fights, Cherry is the one who ends them. Sierra and Cherry are semi-foils.

Sierra and Cherry have a sort of platonic flirtatious relationship, although Cherry is annoyed with Sierra's attention seeking ways. As stated before, Cherry is the one that often has to calm the waters that Sierra splashed.

With José, she acts more like an older sister to him—often taking him under her wing and motherhenning him much to his displeasure. José's the only idol out of Socks and Buskins that listens to her.

Frecil and her have a bit of a complex relationship. Cherry was there when she saw Frecil "fall", she was there when Socks and Buskins was first created. She made a promise to never fail Frecil again, treating them like something fragile and easy to break. Cherry's views on Frecil is supposed to contrast how José sees Frecil.

Cherry's pretty overprotective of Socks and Buskins, which is why most of the members of it don't have a lot of interactions with other idols. It's was something that was going to be worked on throughout Socks and Buskins story. Which is why Frecil and her have some...things to work through.

Cherry is rather blunt and doesn't tend to lie to get what she wants, she will withhold information at times— but she's not a liar. She's distrustful of others to the point of being over cautious, especially in the idol industry. Let's say, Cherry may or may not lowkey know about people before even meeting them^^.

Also, sometimes when she's stressed out–she will steal cigarettes from people.

I have a "What if" unbloomed card planned for her. The card was going to be her pushing Madara into a rail/wall with his arm behind his back. He snuck up on her– which is a huge no-no for her.

A little ramble about the unit:

I'm still working on the uniforms for the unit, but I do know the general concept of it. Each member will have a mask that plays into their role, as well as a bit of their personality. The colors I'm still bouncing around on, switching between more earthy tones(to make nod towards Oberon, Puck, and Titania from Midsummer's night) to more royal colored tones (playing into an actually court). So far for the mask, I'm thinking more Masquerade style.

José's mask would have some King motifs as well as stars. The king motifs plays into his role as the leader/"King" of his unit while the stars are more personal. José doesn't see himself as a star, not like others—something that Frecil, his mentor, disagrees with. Also, the Star in tarot is a huge factor as well.

Sierra's mask would be asymmetrical—something that would play into her double-edged nature. Very elegant and eye catching. I mean, she's the Queen—so she has to stand out, right? Her mask concept is still a wip rn.

Frecil's would be very jester-like with small scattering of feathers. Their mask would cover their eyes, both visualizing the Blind aspect of their character and, in a sense, themself. The feathers would be a small reference of their past work as a single idol.

I do have some inspiration for their vocals:

Frecil's voice would be very similar to Sodikken and how they sing. Sodikken was also a huge inspiration on Frecil to be honest.

José's inspiration for both vocal and past-vibe was actually Corpse Husband. Although José wouldn't have such a deep and raspy voice as Corpse. This was before José was upgraded (All Socks and Buskin ft. Cherry were slightly different when I first made them)

Sierra doesn't have any vocals inspiration, not right now.

Still thinking how Cherry, my 6 ft foreign producer oc, is just like...built....mostly because

A) want to practice chub-muscles

B) I WANT HER TO PICK UP LIKE MAMA AND KURO. I WANT TO SEE HER PICK UP IDOLS LIKE THEY ARE BAGS OF GRAPES

C) The younger idols can hang off her arms (like ya know what dads do?)
