THE IDOLM@STER Handbook

Test scan from my printer, just to prepare for the Christmas scans (check it out and vote!). Keep reading for all the information needed about this test scan.

Settings:

Color Document A4-size, 600dpi scanning resolution No descreening Unsharp Mask checked

Result:

4960 x 7015 dimension A streak of blurred line on the right side of the document (that sucks)

For Tumblr-posting, I decreased the resolution to 1028 x 1456 using bicubic sharper resample in Photoshop. I did not add in any filters.

I guess I’m happy that I can now scan stuff, although the only issue is that random streak of blurred line. I have a couple of books that I would love to share after the Christmas scan. I might scan magazines only if it is requested or if there is a need to. The reasons are: illustrations from magazines are already being scanned and uploaded to yande.re a day or more after the latest magazine issues are released for purchase, and my printer can fit in letter-sized documents.

Some information about this ‘handbook’: I got this from Anime Festival Asia 2014, and the event featured The iDOLM@STER.

So at the exhibition area in AFASG'14

There were 3 life sized Kogami, Tsunemori and Makishima displayed. So everyone took individuals of each character earlier of the day when it was soooo crowded. I only took those photos when the crowd started to disperse and i decided to step back.

The very moment I took a step back I fking realised how they purposely set it up this way.
