If minecraft keeps making these shit updates I really hope that near-future mcyt content utilizes mods. And I'm not talking like proximity voice chat or any of the things that Tommyinnit made videos on, I'm talking like modpacks that make up like 60% of bounce smp or the x life series or harmony hollow or anything! If ccs are getting burnt out than modded is the cure! + it doesn't support Mojang as much!

Like, imagine if fWhip makes himself admin of a new roleplay series and decides to make his whole character about some random ore or stone type he gets like possessed by or some shit (I'm sorry i just miss empires s1)? Imagine if someone makes lore about like, waking up with amnesia on a differently-generated shipwreck with only a map and book in the chest?

The only problem with this I can see is that the x life group has... a pattern of getting bored with modded minecraft really fast for some reason (see afterlife and new life, RIP. You were so good to me at first). The solution I have to this is simple: elevate smaller mcyts and their lore smps to mainstream status! If we can convince our friends and mutuals to watch like, idk, bloodlines smp (i have no idea what happened to it all i know is warden queen and the first few episodes) or something else from small, start-out youtubers, we can fill the void if Grian or Mumbo or Scott take another huge break or even leave. We can make new fandoms if life series or hermitcraft end, because afaik since dsmp and empires ended those have been the two main largest fandoms that people talk about.

Idk I just have this sense of impending doom regarding this fandom and like, content creators and mojang in general and I'm not ready to move on. Minecraft is such a unique tool for storytelling, and other video games and tv shows are just not the same. If all else fails, many, many smaller smps exist to fixate over. I... I'm just not ready to leave man! Minecraft may be dying, but I refuse! I.. I refuse...

spiderGem was the the cutest origin with the prettiest eyes and I'm actually annoyed that she lasted all but 5 minutes.

I get she probably didn't like it and wanted to reroll but I immediately loved it and now I'm sad...

It took us a little while to choose an origin for her exactly because she has such a versatile style of playing the game. Once that small dripleaf she planted started growing into a mighty beanstalk thou we decided to give her a golden goose and make her an avian. Which only fit better and better with the series continuing.

So at the point of picking her origin I had already drawn the other Avian, so i only had to sketch up the goose specific parts of her. I tried to give her a crown of feathers but it was nothing special, similarly I also tried to make her nose into her beak- meh.

Overall for the Avians I gave them bird legs, because they don't take fall damage plus have a little faster running speed and instead of extra wings they get feathery arms for their slow falling to explain them not being able to turn that off ever (for example axe critting is very difficult to impossible with slow falling, because they'd have to spread their arms for that, get it?)

Also yeah, you can get a little sneak peak for Scott's sketch as a bonus here.

Her design was actually so much fun once I got into the drawing! I was kinda dreading her, because I had such high hopes and really wanted to do her justice. But it worked out so well! I'm still kinda shook.

Her being the brawn of the series, I just had to give her proper armor and tools to fight! Also, the sunflowers and (more) elaborate hairstyle are to make up for the lack of crown in my design (and battle friendlier).

Figuring out her cloths to fit around the feathers was a bit awkward, but I managed. Also I decided against a beak here, because I just couldn't make it look not goofy..

Oh and- I guess we can really tag the one depicted for once! @pearlescentmoo - thank you for the amazing videos ^^

i wonder what it would’ve been like if Angel!Scott and Angel!Sausage existed at the same time. Throw Elytrian!Sausage into that mix and you got a recipe for some holy chaos.

I can imagine Elytrian Sausage being excited to meet his fully Angelic self. I can imagine Angel Scott making fun of Elytrian Sausage for being a false angel. I can imagine a sort of rivalry between Angel Scott and Angel Sausage. (my multishipping brain wants an enemies to lovers arc)

but oh well, the series is over for now, we’ll have to hope the fanfic writers get on that for us.
