Guess who’s been watching Miraculous Ladybug again and got her head stuck in Miraculous Tentobug once more (see here and here)? Introducing concept chibi art of his companions, AguNoir, PiyoRouge and... KnifeOfGabu probably, that name is still work in progress, as is his entire design.

Initially, I wanted to continue the first streak of character designs for my Miraculous Tentobug!AU (following up with the designs for Mimi, Jyou, Takeru and Hikari) and on my way there I remembered why I’m so love with a lovesquare situation happening to Taishirou. With neither Tentobug nor AguNoir knowing the identity of the other, Koushirou crushing on civilian Taichi and Taichi crushing on Koushirou’s superhero alias, you could also call it Miraculous Nuts after all...

Since I’m currently revisiting old art, ideas, AUs and after finishing a fic-rec list for Taishirou, I came right back to @god-fucking-dammit-mizutani’s fanfiction series “Miraculous Koushirou!” once more. I’ve already made (concept) art for them back in June 2021 - but I still wanted to explore the potential “Love Square” in this a little more. It all depends on who’d crush on whom first, but I do believe the original dynamic in an AU setting holds up quite well, with Koushirou, being the “Ladybug” (or rather the “Tentobug”?) in this universe, crushing on “civilian Taichi” first, whereas Taichi (romantically) falls for Koushirou’s super hero alias first. (By the way, there actually is a BlackAgumon in the Digimon universe, so calling Taichi “AguNoir” might actually not be the worst choice, don’t you think?)
