I was tagged by @magnusacademia to get to know people better, (*waves* :D) and the game is to tag 9, but I definitely don’t have that many so if you want to do it absolutely do it and say I tagged you and I’ll read them XD

music ~ favorite genre alternative rock, jrock, and like indie, but there aren’t really any genres I dislike (also some broadway musicals) I have a special place in my heart songs that are poetic and not necessarily about romance but my tastes end up being either really chill or Obnoxious™

favorite artist I know so many good artists ah, but from a few years ago: Owl City and Relient K, but I usually listen to Japanese music now so I have a bunch I really like but Mafumafu is my favorite (eve a close second)

favorite song I really like お気に召すまま (as you like it) by eve, the music video the first time I saw it (and now still) was stunning as well >< although if you want a really really pretty music video you should watch eve’s 約束 (yakusoku). if I remember right it’s animated by cloverworks (the studio who did The Promised Neverland) and woa

most listened to song recently meychan’s 小悪魔だってかまわない！(I don’t mind if youre a little minx!) because it’s catchy and there’s a lot of vocab in it that I know, and the music video is also just so funny to me

Books ~

favorite genre definitely fantasy (if manga counts this list would be miles so I’ll stick with novels for simplicity)

favorite author I love Ichiyou Higuchi with my entire heart and I’ve been getting into Morimi Tomihiko’s work as of late, but Diana Wynne Jones and John Flanagan are some of my all time favorites

favorite book oh no “Penguin Highway” by Morimi Tomihiko, “Howl’s Moving Castle” by Diana Wynne Jones, “The Book Thief” by Markus Zusak, “The 7 1/2 deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle” by Stuart Turton, “The 9 Lives of Christopher Chant” by Diana Wynne Jones, I haven’t finished that series yet but I got them for my birthday so I will at some point >:3

favorite book series the “Ranger’s Apprentice” series by John Flanagan (specifically the 5th and 6th book arc is my favorite part), but recently I’ve been reading through katanagatari (by Nisio Isin) and there are bilingual notes that are so nice because I know like 2% of the words and the main character reminds me of how I remember Horace from ranger’s apprentice it’s great

favorite genre I know it isn’t really a genre but anything animated; I’m an artist and for some reason I have a hard time watching live action things, they feel so heavy >< favorite movie all the ghibli films I’ve managed to see, Disney’s Hercules, how to train your dragon trilogy, the legend of hei, the legend of the guardians owls of ga’hoole, and I just watched Words Bubble up like Soda Pop yesterday and wow it’s definitely up there too (+ a bunch of other anime movies I don’t feel like complicating the list with)
