learning very valuable lessons in this conquest hard mode playthrough such as its not a good idea to play it like its normal mode
#salty talks#aka trying to get every paralogue and therefore deploying underleveled characters is. a bad idea#still trying to get mozu+keaton and kaze+beruka s supports for their kids’ paralogues#bc i think theyd be valuable for some grinding and they have the best shot of actually getting there#still trying to get nina with shurikenbreaker but i may drop pavise#and might heart seal effie into great knight for luna instead#but yeah soleil and ignatius will not be existing for this run#im at the kitsune map and i really really need to get the azura-leo s support for two extra paralogues#i have the sophie and nina paralogues ready to go i just need parent skills#so hopefully i can do the sophie paralogue one next too since silas and nyx are both close to sol and vengeance#the dwyer paralogue can wait as long as it takes but i do care abt getting the siegbert paralogue since i want him paired with nina#ninja hell was the turning point it went considerably better when i deployed units that i actually intend for the endgame#managed to feed niles the boss kill with the killer bow too#just need to make sure i get through the kitsune map with either leo+azura or mozu+keaton s-supporting#or silas and nyx getting their level 5 skills. lots going on at least i only need specific skills for 2 kids#kana doesnt matter bc who cares abt kana. if i get the kana map cool but im not using them#i think despite these hiccups of wasting levels on characters im not going to use i should be fine?#its on casual so i can afford to have some stronger units defeated on later maps or w/e#current hurdle is just. kitsune map. where 3/4ths of the norhian royals are vulnerable to beastbane#as well as bow knight niles. plus the enemies being really dodgy. so i might invest in some bronze weappns to improve accuracy#this is fun its like a big puzzle. i fumbled invasion 2 by not upgrading some useful buildings but its fine#i think after this i should take a break from fates and either#finish sacred stones or try fe engage Yuri Run (hardmode with fem alear s supporting merrin)
